As per Today classes Today Homework done by me. For HUL - RSI pattern is showing downtrend below 50. here we can take short position for HUL. For Reliance - RSI pattern is showing uptrend above 80 means it is at overbought position. Here we can find to take short position if it comes below 80. Am I right or wrong??? Your work is Excellent. Not necessarily u can short when it's 80. My experience says u need to be very cautious when it's 80. RIL is very much on over bought zone but still looks uptrend to me. As Mota bhai is in no mood to see going down :-)

Then I have to exit at a loss. So what shall we do? Shall we book profit at 50-52 or wait for 40 to cross? Ya phir apna 1-2 percent book kiya n exit.

Coz this time when nifty is going up... Reliance is playing a major role and even tcs. They both occupy more weightage. Other also moved up but some of them moved a lot... Because of the weightage thing... Nifty is going up but all stocks are moving slowing except some. Reliance was around 800 at that time n now's it's 2100+ same is the case with tcs... May be it helps for you.

Indicators are always easy to understand in Hindsight. How would we judge the next movement of RSI, if RSI is at 45, Weather or not it will cross 60 or will bounce back or will reverse without touching 60. Its very difficult to understand. It also has a concept of divergence, which may apply. All in All Indicators like RSI do work but, till then we already miss the movement. Please enlighten us on the above.

I think you should also cross check it with macd line and candles and if it also confirms then exit for now by booking profit.
I would suggest to book profit as per sir's teaching.If its unable to break level of 60.
I think u should trail your profit and move sl upside. And trail sl hit and book profit

Volume is not applicable on index like nifty 50... so rsi is used here to read this chart.

I am a gold member, have been following your vidoes since last 3 months.. great learning. I have a question that after learning fundamental analysis and learning nuances of technical analysis from your vidoes what should a novice stock trader opt for 1) Sell/buy deeper OTM options contracts
2) Buy/Sell Futures contracts after drawing trend lines and using indicators for buy and sell decisions

Which one is better strategy ?
3) Or take #2 strategy above to invest only in stocks with less than future lot quantity to reduce the exposure and limit the risk..

Indicators are always easy to understand in Hindsight.
How would we judge the next movement of RSI, if RSI is at 45, Weather or not it will cross 60 or will bounce back or will reverse without touching 60.
Its very difficult to understand. It also has a concept of divergence, which may apply.
All in All Indicators like RSI do work but, till then we already miss the movement.
Please enlighten us on the above.

Like mujhe kab pata chalega k 40 k niche kab jane wala hai maybe agr 40 tak aa gya ho toh yaa toh wo 41 jayga upward trend ya fir 39 ayega (downward trend) toh buy or sell kab krne hoga?? Ya toh 39 pe sell karu ya fir 41 pe buy kru kyuke mujhe pata nhi hoga ke 40 k baad upward movement hoga ya fir downward movement hoga...kindly explain sir....and i m new in stock market..par aapka padhane ka tarika bohot acha lagta hai n i want to follow u...plzz explain sir...
