I’ve gotten to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure twice. I rode a few minutes before Drew the Theme Park Dude and I had similar malfunctions as the ones he had that were shown in this video. Louis was working on my ride through but every frog animatronic in the former Laughing Place was frozen. I rode again on Sunday because I wanted to get the full experience and not have a bunch of figures down. Right before my group got called it went down for 2 hours. When it came back up the line was crazy but it only took me like 15 minutes to get on the ride. I had a perfect ride through that time. I guess the best time to ride is right after it reopens after a breakdown because nothing has gotten the chance to break yet.
THIS is exactly why I keep on saying that the other vloggers demanding an opening date for the Disneyland version to cool it down a bit. I say, let them take their time.
20:04 - you’re actually wrong and it’s shown on the blueprints for splash. For example the trap scene and the million dollar bunny both had sensors, heck even the “briar patch?” At the top of the lift hill was on a sensor. In most cases these effects on tianas have been suffering problems with the movement itself and I think it’s something to do with this new motor tech being slapped in figures without the due time taken to ensure they’re ready to perform
I rode on the 14th; Waited 20 minutes with no issues. They still have 10 days until official opening, so hopefully they can figure out any outstanding issues. I would also suspect part of a soft opening would be testing evacuations, and what not, though there are clearly issues with the ride currently.
When we went for Tiana’s pass holder preview on 6/14, it was a quick walk on and the ride was smooth and fun. All the animatronics were working great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I will say that we got lucky though. As soon as our log came back to the loading area, the ride broke down. We went for the 1 pm virtual queue as we couldn’t get a magic kingdom park reservation for that day, but I guess that was for the better. Booked Epcot instead and got to ride cosmic rewind in the morning and took the monorail to magic kingdom for tiana’s in the afternoon. Awesome day!

When we rode it in the afternoon on Father’s Day, we managed to get through the whole ride without anything noticeable going wrong. Today (6/20) we tried again, and the ride got shut down while we were in the line after our group was called. We have a pass to come back later today if we want assuming they are able to open up again.
I did the CM preview. We waited 4 hours after our timeslot passed because the ride wasn't working. When the ride finally started working again, they announced that everyone with 11am-12pm slots would have to come back another day. The ride was working just fine too at that point
@@shine311 that's unfortunate. For my day, we were the only group kicked out. Everyone else there got to ride. It was a pretty awful decision. I'm not a CM, but I'm happy that I was invited out for it. Did you get to ride yet? I was going to go today, but I couldn't get into the VQ
I was just at Disney and the Taina ride was down for a while. I was also disappointed that the floor lights in Epcot where not working. But the Guardians ride is the best ride I have ever been on. Even better than rise and I'm a Star Wars fan.
What the heck is Disney doing? This is more reminiscent of a Six Flags. We need Oriental Land Company (owners of Tokyo Disney) to buy WDW. Tokyo rocks because the owners are willing to spend to get quality. Disney should be ashamed that a privately owned park constantly outshines their 100% corporate owned one.
Idk why people keep talking about it breaking down like it's some monumental thing. I remember how often Galaxy's Edge broke down several times on its debut iirc. Half the rides at Disneyland broke down on opening day. This isn't very surprising. I guess it's just been getting more and more common as they try and make more rides, or something.
I’ve ridden twice and got on quickly. I do not this is as good as splash but I don’t hate it. Also, they are growing plants in an old salt mine? That makes no sense….
I give it a 5 out of 10. The animatronics of Tiana and the fat crocodile are really impressive, they move so lifelike (okay, you can see the robot underneath but that's a matter of making the sleeve a bit longer, and they shouldn't malfunction of course, but these are glitches that should be easily fixable) but then the animal band is made up of very simplistic animatronics that just wiggle back and forth, that's a big contrast. The biggest issue I have is the tv-screens: that is not how characters in a darkride should be presented: background maybe, but not foreground characters, that is so lazy. In a darkride you should be seeing animatronics, something that really exists.
My second CM preview attempt was successful! And I thought everything was cute. Some awkward stretches approaching Tiana and watching her stare off into space. But I see now that our Tiana in the finale was broken, since only her head was moving. This was 2 days ago.
@@KevinHeimbach Apparently they dont usually allow second attempts like this, but my CMs wrote to their management and I guess the ride's instability was such a huge problem that they allowed it.
They should have taken the chance to replace the track when they were doing the refurb. I could care less about the "story" because I always just considered it to be a gussied up log flume, I really don't have any attachment to Song of the South or Brer Rabbit.
So they made an outdoor stage in Florida put up poles which look like would be supports for shade because it's you know an outdoor stage in Florida and then didn't shade it?
Older animatronics used basic mechanics and hydraulics. Modern ones are beautiful, but they are full of high precision electronics, and I don't think they will survive for very long in such humid place with lots of splashing water
Nothing screams Epcot like Cornhole. "Everyone gather around the Cornhole for a photo!" Innovation!! Also I know the animatronics dont have a free mode..theyre on sequencers...on an old log ride...so the boats roaming on water and pace has SOOO much to do with this. They shouldve kept loops and sensors.
Was able to get on Tiana’s Bayou, but the queue for guests with disabilities is TERRIBLE! You literally feel like they’ve forgotten about you. Hoards of people passed by in the foot line and we sat outside for what seemed like forever. One concerned cast member took it upon himself to alert the ride attendants, and he personally set out make sure that we all FINALLY made it to the ride. We also were a bit disappointed in the sensor system, and the backstory was weak at best. Wish it followed the movie more. The colors were beautiful, and the added slide was fun. Don’t think I’ll wait that long again. I’m ok with a one and done on this one.
You see Ray I one of the Going down the bayou scenes but he’s supposed to be with Evangeline. Shadow man’s are you ready would have been perfect for the big hill lift.
I was able to ride it and it was working well, but that was after the ride had paused boarding for more than half the day. I was boarding group 49 and didn’t get called until around 3:30 in the afternoon. No wait once my number was called. Like, I never stopped walking in the queue. I enjoyed the ride. I like it. I liked splash mountain. Splash’s story needed to go. I don’t love this ride’s story. I wish it was just a dark ride of the original movie. I would’ve loved to see Dr. Facilier and hear his vamping music. But I do think people will enjoy this.
Today's Disney Co reflects the nature of its CEO: A greedy, dishonest, unscrupulous, politicized guy. It's not just one thing (Tiana or otherwise) that reflects that, it's almost everything.
Epcot is a mess. Im not impressed with what they did. Tiana's literally has a curse 😂 its having problems, it has the WORST controversy of any ride retheme, the story is bad, you can tell Disney rushed it for Summer. Yes its still a water ride, but at least a ride like Dudleys at Universal is fun and has a lot to offer, vs Tianas broccoli mountain.
I can’t help but actually know that Disney is starting to cut corners. Plus, they’ve just made Disney way more stressful than it was before, Universal Studios is somehow topping Disney everyday😂
Between your visit to Epcot and watching Poseidon Entertainment rip the 'Expansion' to shreds over on their channel, makes me glad I haven't tried to do another Disney trip since 2011. Seems like we got the best deal for our dollar back then and going back would tarnish the memories.
It honestly doesn't surprise me. They changed production staff during the construction. They rushed it out without a solid plan or story line. Disney is loosing money and this is just one example. This and so many others. What they thought was a positive change for their "inclusion' while single handedly ruining themselves. There's a reason so many people hate Disney now.

sounds like my first shot at the CM preview. 4 hours, they opened the line, then they dumped it and said it was down for the night.
@@PrinceofMacedonVlogs yes, i was able to ride on the very last day of previews. Such a huge difference too!
I was just at Disney and the Taina ride was down for a while. I was also disappointed that the floor lights in Epcot where not working. But the Guardians ride is the best ride I have ever been on. Even better than rise and I'm a Star Wars fan.
5 years for cornhole is wild
Kitra is who I wanna be but I can’t. I would go nuts in a line to an attraction that is half functional.
"Say hello to the birthplace of Figment" And now I am trying to get all the bits of muffin I spit-take-laughed out of my keyboard. Bravo, good sir.
Kept hearing so many more cast previews were canceled
@@KevinHeimbach Apparently they dont usually allow second attempts like this, but my CMs wrote to their management and I guess the ride's instability was such a huge problem that they allowed it.
what sucks is all this heat is going probably still gonna be here during the fall which means hhn lines will be dreadful 😭
Good thing I wrote it one last time before they started construction work
They should have taken the chance to replace the track when they were doing the refurb. I could care less about the "story" because I always just considered it to be a gussied up log flume, I really don't have any attachment to Song of the South or Brer Rabbit.
i love the random ordinaryadventures cameos in these videos lol
So they made an outdoor stage in Florida put up poles which look like would be supports for shade because it's you know an outdoor stage in Florida and then didn't shade it?
I’ve been saying Disney should work on existing attractions before creating new ones.
Older animatronics used basic mechanics and hydraulics. Modern ones are beautiful, but they are full of high precision electronics, and I don't think they will survive for very long in such humid place with lots of splashing water
Glad to see ordinary adventures!
Nothing screams Epcot like Cornhole.
"Everyone gather around the Cornhole for a photo!"
Innovation!!
What in the Six Flags did they do to CommuniCore.
When all else fails, bring a camping chair 🪑 right Kevin?
“Tianas foods values your safety- only three people have passed out!” -a normal day in Orlando
They didn't give a shit about fixing it, they only cared about getting the Brer's out!
The ride will be officially opened on june 28th . I hope theses issues will be fixed by then. Tick tock the clock is ticking.
Yeah that’s got to be the most troubling ride after Test Track 1.0.
The condition of Mission Space is unbelievable.
The d23 is coming up I hope Disney does something to compete with universal.
