- Apiculture or beekeeping is the care and management of honey bees for the production of honey and wax on a commercial scale. But how tough or easy is it as a career option? What do the lives of beekeepers look like? What challenges do they face? To answer all these questions, Dhruv Rathee and @dwhindi present the second episode of the brand new series - Jobs Zara Hatke.

One of my friend's father had taken up bee keeping as a hobby after retirement 15 years back. It seemed very easy job to me when we once visited their place.He was fondly showing us every details of the entire process it in the backyard garden of their home. We did get very good quality honey 😊

I had this idea some years back but never applied it. I'm from Himalayas and our bees here are also very calm and small in size. Some 20 -15 years back every home in our Village had a wooden log for bees. Everyone had regular supply of natural Himalayan honey. Now people have migrated to cities, there aren't much bee hives in our Village now. I will surely try this in future. Mushroom farming, and bee keeping is in mind. Let's see what happens.
