But we somehow ended up seeing the movie it was the first time i ever heard a movie theater cheer from the beginning of the movie to the very end. That theme song " ain't no stopping us".....brings back so many memories growing up in the 80's as a kid. This song brings back special memories. I just graduated high school 18 yrs in 1984, The year this song came out. My mom was alive, excited not knowing where my life was going.
I was about 8 years old when I watched this movie. Breakdancing was the coolest thing and, to see a chick involved in a men's move was simply inspiring (the same feeling when a girl can skateboard like any guy). This track is simply energetic and the lyrics superb! Thanks a lot for sharing, xoxo Eva
Same age!! 🤗 And watched it when I was with cousins about 10 or 11 years old. Re-watched so many times during that period. It was actually Breakdance 2 that I watched and what I remember but do remember this song.
I loved so many different genres of music but my heart is so heavy listening to these tunes ,brings me back to my youth...great great memories, also so many of my loved ones were still around it was just a happy time...
Listening to the lyrics of the track takes me back to 1988, my freshman year of high school in Chicago. In particular, I dedicate this to our Fro-Soph city champ baseball team at Dunbar Vocational High School! We were a young crazy, talented and fearless group. We won city at 18-0. It does bring sweat to my eyes, for that some of the members unfortunately are no longer with us, even 2 of the coaches. Just to think of of the work we put in towards the end goal of winning that trophy. We beat back everybody that stepped on the field, even a few heavyweight schools. Memories are great, and I'm grateful to be able to recall one of the greatest times if my life💯!
Even though I'm young, I'm extremely lucky because I was raised with all kinds of classics. I was shown good music like this, and oldies like James Brown and buddy holiday and then some good rap and R&B from the 80's and 90's. I only listen to a select group of people know because (In my opinion) good music is dying away slowly. I would have much rather grown up in the later generations. It was like a whole different world and people put their heart and soul into the music they made. Anyways, I'm so glad I found this music on here (:
I'm 49 and still jamming in August 2019 to these jams bringing back nothing but old school great memories dancing on lunch tables, learning to breakdance, pop lock, and vibrate in a convention center in California. My best memories growing up 🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥

Depende del género musical que té guste. Y aunque me gusta esta canción, para mí la mejor década en música moderna fue los 70's, había Disco, Rock y en Latinoamérica, "Salsa".

Walked all the way from Hawthorne to Torrance Del Amo mall to see this at the movies. And it was worth it. What a time, never again. So sad!
steve shackell They didn't have buses in Hawthorne back then bro?
This song brings back special memories. I just graduated high school 18 yrs in 1984, The year this song came out. My mom was alive, excited not knowing where my life was going.
"The music SMILED, the people SMILED"
-David Lee Roth talking about the greatness of 80's music videos
He died . . . DLR.
My password to any sites, email, etc was his full name since 1990s.
Bring back the 80's. Please!!
simon muscat I will
People tell me its past let the past go and I Say hell no love my 80s
simon muscat Yes, Pleassssse!! ☺️😉
I'mma a 90s baby but I wish I was born in the 80s
PROBLEM IS THAT THE KNUCKLEHEADED KIDS TODAY DONT KNOW HOW TO DANCE TO THIS--TOO BAD; THERE IS NO COMPARISON TO TODAY'S EXCUSE FOR MUSIC!!!!
one of the BEST soundtracks EVER!
I was 2 years old when this movie came out, now I'm 38, but I love this song! Such a fun and positive song!
im 50 this year and we all body popped and break danced to this just wish i could go back. happy timea
Same age!! 🤗 And watched it when I was with cousins about 10 or 11 years old. Re-watched so many times during that period. It was actually Breakdance 2 that I watched and what I remember but do remember this song.
80’s was the best! Life was so much better in every way! Loved it!
one of the many songs in the key of my young life..ahh nostalgia!
Wow! What beautiful music. Notes, melodies and chords all in the right places that hit your very soul.
HowlingMoonCinemas
Totally!
I loved so many different genres of music but my heart is so heavy listening to these tunes ,brings me back to my youth...great great memories, also so many of my loved ones were still around it was just a happy time...
Yep same here :)
Eine Super 👍 Zeit unvergessen und der Break Dance in den 80 Jahren ein Kracher 🧨
That’s beautiful
Curie h.s class of 89!! Go condors!
damn! the 80's were awesome

This song was my favorite one back in the 80's
This music is so lost...............CAN'T BE REPLACED ..............
NOBODY HAS THE GUTS TO TRY IT
Ej Romo I know the best is in the past I'm 53 years old and when I hear this great song it brings me back to my high school boom box years , Sony CFS - 99 and my JVC RC M90 love it . N.Y.C. & the Hudson valley .
This is a soundtrack from a shitty b-movie. What is lost and can't be replaced isn't a canned movie soundtrack, but your youth.
It's literally lost. The master tape burned up in the Universal fire in 2008. Truly sad...
2019 wow !! Have almost forgotten this song. Haven't heard it in at least 20 years, takes me right back. One of the best!
Still Playing it right now in my car @55yrs
Summer of 1984. Breakdancing at its best. No. 9 pop.Breakin' soundtrack. Great times back in the day.
I'm a white guy and miss the love I felt between the races in the 80's. Love all you different races that grew up in this period.
Love this!! Brings back great memories. The years passed by way too quick.
The 80s were the best time for music!!!
Depende del género musical que té guste. Y aunque me gusta esta canción, para mí la mejor década en música moderna fue los 70's, había Disco, Rock y en Latinoamérica, "Salsa".
Absolutely! No contest! I want those days back forever!
Tanuz Mottale The epitome of the best times, sounds and artists of music!!
