      Hello 👋
      Thank you ! Unfortunately I’ve put making videos aside for now, family life too busy and I can’t find the time and energy anymore… hopefully I’ll start again soon. I appreciate a lot you asking 🙏

    How do I figure out what size the
    Mini Matte Box
    And the right filter size

    • @sharpfocused5710
      @sharpfocused5710  6 месяцев назад

      The opening of the matte box is 95mm to accommodate most lens sizes but it comes with step-up rings. At 5:15 I show how I’m screwing the 67-95mm step-up ring onto the front thread of my lens and then the matte box slides nicely in onto the lens 👍

    I have the tilta mini matte box and we all know we can’t put the VND filter on there but with the 3196 we obviously can but at a wide angle 24mm are you able to still see the matte box on the sides?

    great review, thanks. it would be great to know more about your video rig... i just purchased a Sony A7 IV and a 24/70-2.8 and looking to build the whole kit: cage, top handle, side handle, external batteries and T5 support... and so on... looking forward to it👍thanks

    I tried to put my 72mm filter on my matte box from the front but it won't fit, what thread is your ND Filter? And how can I fit my ND filter the way you do it?

    • @sharpfocused5710

      If your 72mm filter fits your 72mm diameter thread lens without the matte box then it should fit on the same lens with the matte box on. If it doesn’t that’s really strange…I’ve used a 67 mm filter on Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 which is 67mm thread

    Thanks man. I've been looking for a small matte box. BTW what cord are you using on your a7iii to connect to the Vmount battery

    Great video. I think to buy one but i not shure if my VND will work in it... is a Haida VND Nano Pro with 82mm thread, but the thing is the front of the filter is 100mm. What do you think? It will work? Thanks dude!

    • @sharpfocused5710
      @sharpfocused5710  3 года назад +1

      🙏Thank you. It might not work for you. There is a 82-95 step-up ring but if your outer thread is 100 it won’t fit. I know this issue since I have 67 mm filters but outer thread is 72😜

    I like this video a lot. Your ideas are great. Tighten up your editing and you’ll be good. I’m guilty of this, too, but the music is a bit high on some parts. Let your voice be more important than the music. GREAT video. Have fun making them.
