Agreed, what puts it head and shoulders above others is the stories told. Yes it is limited by programming limitations of either a, b or c and most quests are standard RPG staples of fetch and elimination quests but the way they are told makes the Witcher 3 one of my all time favorites.

You got some of these things! The grandmaster feline armor has Geralt wearing a sick hood, that boss battle was amazing, and I know it’s different for everyone but the ending made me sad and smile all the same. My ending, with Geralt settling down in Corvo Bianco, with Yennefer to retire from the affairs of the world at last, was one of the most emotional and satisfying game endings I’ve ever come across.
This game is on its own level. I've put 250hrs into it since 2016 when I paid $25 for the GOTY edition with all the DLC,cheap as hell for this masterpiece. It still holds up very well. I only played 10hrs the past 3 years but I've gotten back into this game and am going to complete every quest, treasure hunts,Witcher contracts and whatever else there is to do. I'm guessing I'll finish with a good 400-500hrs. This will be my only playthrough cause the game is way too big to replay in my opinion but it might be the greatest rpg open world game ever. I can't wait to get to the dlc.

The second one is simply amazing and has no right to be called a "DLC" - a brand new full-sized map, containing brand new enemies, brand new music, brand new terrific characters, completely new environment ... speed runners will probably get through it in 30 hours, but 40 is about normal (including multiple side-missions - which are just as entertaining as in the main game [like, if you miss out on a side mission, you feel like you haven't played the game properly!].
Every day I unwind by riding around east Velen or where the snowy mountains meet forest in Skellige. It's pretty much my new destress ritual. Looks like I'll be Roachin' around Toussaint too.

The biggest issue game movies have is often trying to make a story spin off that doesn’t mess with canon, but the Witcher has such rich lore and hugely varied stories and environments that are yet to be fully realised it would allow a movie studio to absolutely make something unique and interesting without bombing the story’s integrity. I found Cyberpunk truly amazing. Nothing beats witcher 3 in the overall experience but cyberpunk is truly on a league of its own as they made the entire concept and storyline from scratch and definitely better in terms of combat & graphics

The first time I played B&W I was still on the main story (almost finishing it). And It’s funny bc I remembered being basically on the endgame (when Avallach uses the Stone to trap the Wild Hunt) and not activating the last mission bc I wanted to have all the Witcher armors and swords that appear in Toussant before finishing the main story of the Game. So I ended up postponing the campaign for like two months going back and forth between Ard Skellige and Toussant. The funny thing is that before leaving Ard Skellig I Would go talk to Ciri on the boat everytime and she would always say “don’t take to long” before I left to Toussant for like a Month and a Half xd

This has to be the best game ever released so far. Not only does the original game have an enormous amount of content, the DLCs actually manage to bring almost as much content and refresh the game with storylines even better than the original.

The store only had the goty edition but thank goodness I spent $60 on it because this is the best game I've ever played!!!

:O Look at Geralts armor at 1:39, it's the ursine mastercrafted armor but with the concept art fur and interesting coloring! CDPR has said this expansion pack will feature armor customization, they've only mentioned being able to color some of the more popular amors from the base game and all armors from this expansion but it seems you'll also be able to add other touches such as the fur for the ursine gear.
hey... I have a problem with the Witcher 3 game. When I go to visit the Emperor and I should follow the Chamberlaine he doesn't move and I'm stuck. How could I solve this problem? I bought the game - gog version - but I deleted the galaxy client because the next day it said a dll. file is missing. now I tried to install it again so I could verify the game but I got the dll. error again - different file this time - I installed the c++ visual studio software but didn't help. Did anyone manage to get through this bug without the galaxy client perhaps?

probably get more play time outta this dlc then most full games
Just finished about all the sidequests and treasure hunts I can as well as completed every contract. I can't wait to see how the game wraps up and play the dlc.

Yes but it will be polish movie. I'm from Poland and I know that polish movies are not good. But polish people are proud of the game Witcher 3. This is amazing game!!
I will tell you something . There is a old polish series about witcher i can give you link to it . It's not very good but have some fans too. New witcher move is on building but i cant tell you more about it. Our hope for this movie is good polish director but we will see at the end.

The first time I played B&W I was still on the main story (almost finishing it). And It’s funny bc I remembered being basically on the endgame (when Avallach uses the Stone to trap the Wild Hunt) and not activating the last mission bc I wanted to have all the Witcher armors and swords that appear in Toussant before finishing the main story of the Game. So I ended up postponing the campaign for like two months going back and forth between Ard Skellige and Toussant. The funny thing is that before leaving Ard Skellig I Would go talk to Ciri on the boat everytime and she would always say “don’t take to long” before I left to Toussant for like a Month and a Half xd
Whenever I try and get through the the first cutscenes where you talk to the Knights, my game black screens and put me to the Xbox home, can I fix this?

This has to be the best game ever released so far. Not only does the original game have an enormous amount of content, the DLCs actually manage to bring almost as much content and refresh the game with storylines even better than the original.

Just started playing this again yesterday, finishing up my Death March playthrough before this comes out.... From the looks of it I'm going to have 2 fantastic expansions to play this summer!

I remember walking into gamestop with some extra cash to spend a few months ago. I looked and looked but couldn't find anything good so I searched up best xbox one games and the witcher 3 showed up. The store only had the goty edition but thank goodness I spent $60 on it because this is the best game I've ever played!!!

I'm playing this game for more than a year now. It is simply the most enjoyable game I've played since the 1st Mafia. Main story twice, hearts of stone almost done. Super excited for this one. Thanks cdprojectred.
:O Look at Geralts armor at 1:39, it's the ursine mastercrafted armor but with the concept art fur and interesting coloring! CDPR has said this expansion pack will feature armor customization, they've only mentioned being able to color some of the more popular amors from the base game and all armors from this expansion but it seems you'll also be able to add other touches such as the fur for the ursine gear.
They're adding grandmaster diagrams to the Witcher gear, so it's the next tier above mastercrafted.

hey... I have a problem with the Witcher 3 game. When I go to visit the Emperor and I should follow the Chamberlaine he doesn't move and I'm stuck. How could I solve this problem? I bought the game - gog version - but I deleted the galaxy client because the next day it said a dll. file is missing. now I tried to install it again so I could verify the game but I got the dll. error again - different file this time - I installed the c++ visual studio software but didn't help. Did anyone manage to get through this bug without the galaxy client perhaps?
Beating this game is so nostalgic. I finished it 2 times and both was like "Man, i miss Toussaint..."
