🌙Thanks for the up close view of Pioneer Village. After seeing some of their homes I can understand how the witch trials ever occurred. I have a trip planned for this fall but during the week and the Pioneer Village is only open weekends. Looking forward to shopping as well!

I was born and raised in salem my childhood home is off of Lafayette street.
My family's heating oil business is also located here.
Unfortunately we are planning to relocate because Commercial St where our shop is located is a bad flood zone we've been flooded out 3 times this year the worst was in January we had 16 inches of water in our garage bay.

Oh cool! It definitely is super busy in fall, but it’s still really nice and summertime and early spring, just a lot for your Halloween decorations but there are still a bunch lol 🙌🏻✨
I've been to Salem multiple times. I know quite a few restaurants and places to visit. Some even just outside Salem like Danvers (Original Salem). from proctors ledge to Hammond castle in Gloucester. My suggestions to most people is plan, research places to eat and things you want to do and have fun. There's a whole lot to do so the trolley is good and so is the ferry. Salem can seem very touristy if you go during a busy season, have little time to visit or you're not sure what you want to do. you tube vids and websites about Salem will help greatly.🌙

My Grandmothers brother owned a rental property on 224 Lafayette Street. That's where one of the Boston Spanglers victims was murdered in the 60s
He told us stories that a lot of tenants that lived in her apartment used to tell him they would get nightmares 😳

I love Salem and all the history. But I’m not a fan of the tourist trap it creates. And a lot of those trendy shops are overrated. It’s a great place to visit but don’t wait for spooky season. It’s a beautiful city, go there when there aren’t a million people.
