Every weekend I ride sr160 for 400Km ...this is good scooter for cross country rides...very stable... mileage around 33kmph on highways...no complaints ...fully satisfied...a quality scooter will come with a higher...one should be ready to pay extra for quality...
I own SR 150 for last 2 yrs,i hv reached many times 120 kmph that's the limit of the speedometer which in actual is around 113 or 115 due the faulty speedometer reading and that's with every SR 150. But i must say at the speeds of 80 to 90 it is a real fun to ride especially on highways. Cornering,high speed stability is top of all the present scooters. Those who are looking for comfort, space and fuel average should not go for this one. SR 150 is for those who want a good height,speed, stability and performance.
True bro , access125 & ntorq are better in terms of practicality & price. But this scooter is only meant for performance I think, no practical storage .

Hey guys, I purchased a new sr 160 bs6 carbon edition recently, and it's been 15 days now, clocked 100 kms, I have been riding it under 55kmph, but I just thought of seeing how fast could it clock, but I was shocked as its reaching 60 with ease but it's struggling to cross 65.... Is this normal with a new bike? Or is there something drastically wrong??. Also when I spin the front wheel on the centre stand freely, there is a slight scratchy sound from the disc, are these 2 issues normal? Please do reply as I'm getting paranoid. 😥
Had it got a comfortable suspension, I would have bought it... but, again, unfair to expect the change in its racy core... So, will not buy.. Only test drive
Maxi Scooters" are supposed to take out for long rides (tours)...... and for this scooter Fuel Cap is inside the seat (most of other brands started bringing it to outside). So, during long rides you need to unload & reset your luggage myriad times 😡. Ham to bevkoof ban gaye...aap mat baniyega......I have SR BS6....Its a complete flop in terms of fuel efficiency...my scooter gives anything from 13 to 22 KMPL on local street driving...and 25-30 on long drives.....It does have a bs6 engine but emmissions fromthat engine far exceed the maximum limits set for a bs4 engine....it does not comply.....the movement it will comply fuel efficiency will be improved...the pollution guys asy...gadi...tel pee rahi hai....only...positive thing about this scooty is looksand style....its only for show..there is no substance.....service centre is very uncooperative....they hae a different answer for every customer..for fuel efficiency problem......next time dekhenge....service karne ke baad theek ho jayega......ham kuchh nahi kar sakte ....sab ....automatic hai....and so on....!!! All they want is ....service karwa lo.....they have service revenue targets....exept this problem...every thing is stable...there are no problems......minor issues like.....vaccum creation in fuel tank....braking issues.....I seriously dont want anyones hard earned money to go into this companys current account...sorry for negetive comment
It's really sad that Aprilia still does not get it. For taller drivers, the foot board is too short and narrow with little room for carrying things. And the front end really needs a design change. The driving position is cramped. Also it lacks many features. I'm anxious to see the proposed SXR 160 maxi scooter and Aprilia had the sense in this area to retain the flat foot board. The SR160. Definitely no. The SXR 160, looks good but fear the price unlike the feature-packed NTorq which I presently own.
