Let me show you the easy/cheesy way 😁
So, I've had mixed reports back on the 'ambush the hunter' achievement. If you are finding that the rock ledge method does work, sit on the bit of ruin before jumping down and pump arrows of a homing nature (cupid/divine sight) area of effect (pestilence/explosive's) or even afew curses down through the arch. Also, ensure you can see the achievement in your list before attempting it, If memory serves you will need to kill 10 bat simultaneously before it shows, vid here 😁 • In death : Unchained -...

Too bad they fixed the bat head vs. shield bug. I'm going to have to get that the regular way. :D

@James P. Burke and yeah, its not to difficult to get bat head shots the standard way, but some people can struggle, and to be fair it is a very small hitbox. I do enjoy ploughing through bats with the shield, headshots or not 😂
@@silver-tongued_devil For my 2nd profile achievements, for the bat shield kills I'm now spinning around with the shield out flat as they swoop, almost like I'm throwing a frisbee! Faster, but no headshots.
Though it's annoying I can no longer double up those achievements together.
@@silver-tongued_devil I'm getting them, but slowly. It's not a problem; I like playing the game and I'm not *really* in that much of a rush.

To all players watching I cannot state enough how critical the time freeze is, it literally turns you into Quicksilver from the X-Men films.
From your perspective everything is happening slowly, from an enemy's perspective you are lightning fast!
With the bow it's simple technique, release the string, hit the button, draw the string again.... repeat!
And once you get this down, you become a literal superhero/villain inside this game, I'm not kidding!

Also thanks for the davinci audio fix, easy when you know how. Just have to remember each time, that could be a problem...😂

Regarding the DaVinci, there is an alternative way that should avoid you having to remember each time. You can switch the audio track to mono.
But only switch the track that has the video / game audio. If you switch the whole thing to mono (including the commentary) then it'll screw up as you demonstrated.

100% and almost went crazy, because I couldn't get the "Ambush the hunter" achievement, although doing everything according to the
achievement text.
I play the german version on the Pico 4. The german text description is as follows: "Jäger aus dem Hinterhalt: Töte den Exorzisten, bevor
er dir mit seiner Falle SCHADEN ZUFÜGT.", which translated into: "Ambush the hunter: Kill the exorcist, before he DAMAGES/HURTS you with
his trap." I killed the exorcist many times without taking trap-damage and didn't know what I was doing wrong and why the achievement
didn't click. After watching your video, I now know that it was a translation error of the word "targets" by Superbright. A correct
translation would be: "Töte den Exorzisten, bevor er dich mit seiner Falle ANVISIERT." or "..., bevor der dich mit seiner Falle INS
VISIER NIMMT." There are a few other mistakes in the german version (spelling mistakes) which are annoying but not like this one which
changes the content. That is one of the reasons that I like to play the english version of a game, if I have the choice.
So I went to Desolation with new determination... and several times didn't get the level configuration you showed in the video (with the
window in the rock), so in frustration, I shot a few cupids wrath down a random hole in the floor and got lucky! Now I'm currently
working on bat headshots...

Excellent stuff dude, and yeah that is a very unfortunate translation mistake on SB's part. Also, no worries dude, very happy to help. Keep grinding to that 100%, it is well worth it 😁
There are even more translation errors in the German version. I got so annoyed by them that I switched to English. Obviously your English would also be good enough for that.
It also says on the SoH Achievement list to "kill 10 Screamers in one run". So i did that and did not understand why it did not click. Well, in the English version it says to "headshot 10 Screamers in one run". That of course is a whole other story.

Looks like Ambush the Hunter may be fixed. You get targeted as soon as you drop down on to the rock part.
Instead, firing a few shots of Pestilence through the window, from the `little bit of ruin`, mentioned in the video, worked for me.
Yeah I've had mixed success myself recently with this location. Sometimes it targets, other times not. The ruin bit works with some of the specials as you say. One or two other locations you can hit him from without retaliation still, usually involves sitting on the floor to make the shot 🤣
I got the ambush the hunter unintentionally, I didn't even know it was an achievement haha!

They fixed that ledge just after your video 🤦♂️ landed there yesterday and excorcist targeted me Anyway 🤷♂️
I had a similar experience while testing though, however I don't think they can fix things without a patch. I just think you need to land right on the edge. Will have another look later on.

With Incredible composure, can you use specialty weapons like Cat 5? I have some percentage on this but at a stand still. I keep thinking I did it but there was no change in the percentage accomplished.
Nope, it has to be done with no special arrows iirc.
my achievements does not show all the new ones. i'm missing 6. is this for quest? i killed the hunter from outside but got nothing. iused your window but my playing area is big and was able to walk out far enough to get him
Nice dude, that'll do it. However if its not showing up you wont be able to get it, I think getting the 10 bat multikill one (winged massacre) will make most of the rest show up 😁
@@silver-tongued_devil i dont get a good arrow for that. i'm looking for cupid but i played for over 10 hours and never found one. i trie d lightnig, cats ,curses . i almost have 266 bats .

i still cant get hunter achievement, but i have been going for it for practice. I shot cupid into hole and was able to kill him after a few shots. i did not see him but killed him
