I've been canning for years, and that cheering at the end is the way I feel when I hear that last pop. 😅 I've never heard of the Lemon Verbena Jelly. It sounds awesome. It's looked beautiful in those jars too. I may have to get that plant next year and try this. You did a beautiful job canning. Hope to see more. 😁
That last pop💥 so funny 😁 The jelly looks beautiful, and I was thinking if I had some, I would definitely try it in a baked chicken with a bit of rosemary and thyme. But anyhow, thanks for sharing, and it was very enjoyable to watch the whole process!
I moved to Greece about 20 years ago. I found out many use lemon verbena tea (called louiza here from latin name) for weight loss because it's actually a diuretic. Even my nutritionist recommended it for me when I had a swollen leg. It's one of the few teas I like because of the light flavor. I never thought of making jelly out if it! 😮
I love putting the leaves in whatever tea I'm drinking to add more flavor to it! And I hope you get to try the jelly because it really is a new favorite for me!
Fresh hot biscuits and good homemade jelly are hard to beat.

Thank you and that sounds so good with chicken! I'll have to try it!
Oh, I hope you get to do more canning, it's something I've always wanted to do :)
I forgot how much fun it is! I'd like to can more especially with herbs!
