Apparently the property owner was negligent and didn't post his property, because I'm sure they didn't cross "no trespassing" signs to get those cars.
Even if it's private property, there can be an easement...for example, I "own" the sidewalk in front of my house, but there's a public easement on it, and thus I have to allow the public to walk on it, even as I have to pay to maintain it.

reminds me of a friend of my dads years ago, he bought a new 4x4 pick up and said, now i cant get stuck i have 4 wheel drive, promptly went out and got so stuck that it took 3 other 4x4s to get him out

I just found your channel and have been binge watching for a couple of hours now, great content and that Jeep is a stud with all the rigging equipment. I wish you would’ve been around back the late 80’s , me and friend of mine stayed stuck at a little back woods boat ramp in Callahan for a while, no cell phones back then and we didn’t tell anybody where we were going so it was a long day because we got stuck on a Saturday morning and finally got out just before daylight Sunday morning. I see you do a lot around my neck of the woods ( Macclenny) so maybe I’ll bump into you one day.

I totalled a Land Rover by driving it through 4 foot of water during a flood. The air intake in on the bottom of the engine, so if you dont have a scoop for your air intake, dont drive it in any water that’s very deep at all. Water in engines kills engines.
Must have been some hidden trail cams installed there, otherwise have no idea how the owner found it out so quickly.
EDIT: I have a guess about the property 'owner' . Was it at the Fort Stewart Army post ?

The property owner could force the trespassers to pay to repair the damage they did. A police report makes that easier if they drag their feet and have to be taken to court.

Have you ever gotten this jeep stuck trying to pull someone out? Or have you gotten stuck just joy riding?
Does the jeep rev a 5k on the highway with 5.30 gears. Work do good with the gears but you highway drive hours to jobs. Did you change the transfer case. Gear vender makes an overdrive but you could run it in 2 wd ?

These are old school land rovers made by Land Rover in the 90s ! They are the ones that helped build the reputation they used to have! Now all the newer 2008 and up are just garbage with an even crappier warranty!

We don’t know if there were signs or not. If there were, the rovers should’ve been ticketed for sure if not arrested! Gates are a joke snd not needed for those that are smart or have common sense. If you go into the Savannah you’re not going to pet a wild lion and expect to not get mauled. So why should trespassing into private property be any different? We also don’t know if that rav4 at the road wasn’t the home owner and decided not to press charges! Just because I have a 4x4 doesn’t mean I’m allowed to drive anywhere it’ll take me free of consequences!

Many years ago a Police Car went into a Muddy Area to check for Dumped Stolen Cars and got Bogged.
Put out call on Police Radio for help.
2nd Police Car arrived and he too got Bogged.
Put out call on Police Radio for help.
Emergency Operation Group 4x4 arrived and he too got Bogged.
Decided against putting out another call on Police Radio for more help (too embarrassing).
I got Telephone Call asking if I could come down and get everyone out.
Two Hours later everyone was free.
The scary part is that there are enough of these people that a company that rescues them is a viable business…😂

I'm curious why you don't use 12k winches. Is there an advantage of using the 10k winches vs the 12k winches?
when you double the power of a winch with a pulley there's no reason for a larger one
and 9k is plenty for a jeep
I believe it has something to do with the anchor ability of the jeep I believe one of his older videos he explained that the most weight ever put on the winch is about 7k if he put a 12k winch on it would still only put out 7k of winching power
That being said. I love my 13K winch on my TJ

From U.K. I like that get the Jeeps to tow out Rovers! One is a work truck and the others toss pots vehicles. They have only gone downhill from the original conception.
Bad drivers not bad vehicles. I have towed out Land Rovers, Range Rovers, Jeeps, Ford Explorers and several other 4×4's with a 2.4 Nissan Pathfinder. While towing vehicles out quite often got passed by a group of locals in their two wheel drive Toyota pickups.
It took a Jeep to rescue two land rovers it would make a great commercial for Jeeps

In most states the property has to be posted with no trespassing signs. Otherwise, you don't get charged with trespassing unless you are asked to leave and then refuse.
That's the standard. Signs = posted. Technically speaking, one documented trespass warning is all you get, after that the property owner makes the call. But all bets are off if they want to play azzhole and their cousin billybob happens to be the sheriff/judge. 🤣

Fix what? The rain? The mud? Police have no authority over that. If there are not any "No Trespassing" signs, they can't be arrested for that, either (much less fix it), unless they committed a crime in the process.

Again, if there's not a "No Trespassing" sign, the police can't do much other than to make sure they leave. If the driver(s) had been told to leave and they refused, then it's a different story.

Not at all. They are on Private Property and land owner does NOT have to allow anyone on his property to remove vehicles that were deliberately Trespassed. Land owner is free to block vehicles in, Trespass owners until he decides what he wants for compensation or possibly get it titled in his name as abandoned vehicle. Stay off Private Property or risk losing vehicle.

I catch anyone on my land I can block them in quickly with a tractor and then block them in with logs, equipment, whatever and prevent anyone from removing them. The gov has stolen our land and that is why they are trying to gather up the Abstracts which prove that the land was originally sold to developers free of any gov claims. I am also right that anyone drives whatever onto my land they do NOT have the right to recover it. Doesn't matter if it's a brand new truck with a loan on it I can block it in and nothing but a Judge can force me to allow it to be romoved. Pretty unlikely to happen unless it is a crime scene and how long does it take to go to court?

I agree with most of what you're saying here, but I understand that most (all?) states allow tow trucks doing a repo to take cars off of private property as long as the car isn't behind a gate or inside a garage. So, car in a driveway or under a carport may be snagged and the law will be on the side of the tow operator, assuming they have a valid legal reason for the repo. Try to stop them by force and things will go poorly. Just FYI.
@@willdejong7763 I already stated that legit tow trucks can recover vehicles of accidents or crime from private proprety which police would be there. Repo's would be included as police would explain to land owner what is being done. Totally different situation than these guys deciding to go driving on private property. You keep coming up with " What If's " that don't apply to this case. Perhaps you should ask a cop before you come driving on my farms. I know the law and don't need any FYI from you.
