@@parkerhiggins5972acid drops from the right height give you a ton of speed and air and certain specials give a ton of points, like the 900 gives 9k in normal stance and 10k in switch, so no, he didn’t use mods

Former OG top Tony hawk underground player ps2 on the leaderboards. I hit over billion also in Moscow took forever building up to it. Good times…haven’t played in so many years. I feel sad thinking about the memories in T.H.U.G…. I use to play ps2 online with a dude name Carlos. I hope he still alive and doing well. Idk what ever happened to him. Wish I could have met him in person….this was literally 20 years ago. RUclips wasn’t a thing at the time. Maybe I’ll come back if they remake thug1 but I probably won’t. Anyways good run man.

Meet alot of new friends over that game, while I'm still in touch with some of them most of other people have moved on of course. There's still an online community but it's alot smaller now than it used to be unfortunately.

There’s no way to do whatever reverse revert thing that’s going on here with an un modded game. I watched on slow mo your character isn’t even doing the revert animation, as soon as he lands in the pipe all his momentum just magically reverses and goes straight back up with super speed. 🤔
What i am doing in the beginning is a technique called quick turn revert and no you don't need mods for it. To execute a normal quick turn you have to press down twice and then rb/r1 right after. For a quick turn revert however you have to do a quick turn and then do revert + manual right after to maintain the combo. Likely reason the quick turn revert animation looks scuffed is because it was something the developers didn't intend you to do. It took me perhaps a few days to get the technique down consistently.
