I'm alphaz🐺🐺 from Japan🇯🇵! Thank you for your reaction😊This song is a special song that has comforted and inspired the hearts of XG members during their difficult times since they lived in a training camp for 5 years. I heard that this song was composed as a cancer charity song.
Thanks for another XG reaction! The song “Just Stand Up”was an originally performed for the telethon “Stand Up To Cancer” in 2008 by a group of artists including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Mary J. Blige, Ciara, and many others. If you want to hear more XG, they have two new songs that I don’t think you’ve heard yet - Something Ain’t Right and IYKYK. They also have a new album dropping in about two weeks - Awe - which will release the first week of November.
XG is a group made up entirely of Japanese members, all born and raised in Japan. They are under the parent company AVEX and have been trained extensively in both Japan and Korea.
I guess I’d like to stress that there was a significant history with both Countries and finally Artistically they are merging because of XG. SIMON, their Executive Producer is both Japanese Korean so his alias “JAKOPS” a combination of it all. Simon was also a Kpop idol. He’s a genius and he’s creating a new genre Xpop. Thank you for reacting to XG. (In the beginning they got a ton of flack) but they’re gaining Alphaz daily. React to more XG. *Please read the comments it helps. 😉♥️🐺
Fyi, they label their music as x pop. It’s a mix of hip hop, r&b, and pop music. They are from Japan, trained in Japan & Korea, promote in Korea, but their target audience seems to be in the west.
To understand more about if XG is K-pop or J-pop, watch the XG documentary series, XG XTRA XTRA XX.. Simon (JAKOP) XGALX, CEO/producer, will explain everything.
Producer Simon and AVEX CEO Katsumi Kuroiwa envisioned XG as something distinct from typical J-Pop or K-Pop groups. They branded them as an 'XPOP' group, blending elements from both genres to create a unique musical style
