I'm biracial and only use a little curl activating cream to keep my natural curly hair in check. If I blow dry my hairstyles, it stays silky straight with a dab of ion cream. Your children have very well-kept hairstyles. 👏 it's a blessing to be biracial. We get the best of both parent's hair. 🤗❤

Probably obvious to some, though there will be others who need reminding, but there is no uniform texture for so-called ‘mixed race’ people who are of European and African descent. Advice will help some but not others, and even in families, siblings will have contrasting hair types. This is true with my own children.
That's true. My white Jewish mother and black African father got lucky with my hair. It's always been silky curly and not frizzy. It can go opposite for some. But, these days accepting what gd. Gives you and learning to style what you are working with is doable. 😊

Just a suggestion but I would love to see Harper try the braided sock hair hack. Braid both sides and wrap it in a sock. Could make a short TikTok on it. It’d be so gorgeous

This is a Mom & Daughter bonding activity. Even though Harper is getting older and can do her hair, it's good to keep this bonding. I remember my Dad used to brush Mom's hair and oil her scalp. She used to say it made her hair grow.

Her hair looks gorgeous at the end, nice job! I have this same hair type and what works for me to keep the tangles down and avoid the dry, matted after sleeping is to rinse and condition every day or every other day. I'm not sure if you're already doing that but that's the only thing that worked for me since my hair is so fine that i can't load on products all in one day I have to do a little each day basically.

Your hair looks beautiful Harper and it seems that those products are right for your hair. All types does it best when it has products that work the best for it and this I can say is trial and error. I've heard good things about the honey products. I actually use fresh honey on my hair when I brush it down and tie it back sometimes on top of my hair for hold. So raw honey also I think an excellent conditoner for her hair. Great job mom!

Have you tried the remmington electric brush iv watched loads of videos and some of them have really arfo hair and it gets thro it pretty easy
These 2 products will absolutely change your life !!!!! Get a Denman Brush for combing out while wet even with the conditioner still in their hair. And it also is Great for detailing and popping curls.
And also get the Revlon Blow dryer air brush !!! THE BEST !!!!!
Donna's Recipe is a good hair product as well
as a tip i wouldn’t wash or even wet the girls hair EVERY night/day. water can be used as a moisture but it can dry up the hair. i think washing once a week and moisturizing the hair and keeping the hair in plaits at night will work fine. but wetting the hair everyday is excessive
