I don’t know why people think they can’t find their own place for $1100 give or take. There are new luxury apartments built in downtown you can get for around that price or you can look at places like in Culver City. It’s really not that hard if you actually look for them. Hell, if your as broke as I am, you can find a bachelor or studio apartment in Koreatown for less than that. No roommates needed.
baybeetricia I was thinking that. If I was Amanda I might not be as happy. 😂 I'm not even sure if the rent cut would be worth it fr. I mean it would suck to have people walking through your room all the time.. At least the room mates seem pretty good.
I know this video is kinda old but this is my favorite video considering I’ve seen a lot of the sweet digs episodes! And she is so likable, I really wish her all of the success and I love candles too. Actually agree on bakery scents in common areas but love florals and fresh scents in my own room/ bathroom ❤️
chill your panties. its somewhere she sleeps, if she doesnt like it she wouldve moved out or changed it, shes there - as said - 3/4 days a week, she has a fiance so that means shes moving out soon anyways.
As someone who was born and raised in the suburbs of LA, it's sad that these are now the prices of rent. $1700 and you have to walk through someone else's room to get to your room! $1100 and you don't have a bed, you have a pull out couch with someone walking through your room at all hours of the night, because she is an actress! I think this is ridiculous. Yes, it came furnished which is a huge expense saved but #notworthit in my humble opinion. I wish they would have said which city. Probably Los Feliz. How are people in my age range (25-35) supposed to live comfortably in LA???
It depends. But if you want clean, safe, nice area, people in LA pay upwards of $2000 or more a month. LA is slowly becoming just as expensive as New York!
Chrystle K Glad you said it 😂😂😂 $4200 a month for a house seems reasonable , although a bit expensive , but not to share it with 2 other people . Guess that's LA for ya All I see is wasted income ....
Happy you said this. Same here in New York and not just the city. I'm in the Hudson Valley and the prices are becoming like Manhattan and Brooklyn, mainly because people from there are fleeing the city because of the rents. Developers buy up all the buildings here, even if they are inhabited, redo them and then charge $2,600 for a 1 bedroom. Ten years ago, I could rent an apartment in my area for $700. I kid you not.
I think there's something missing in this video, it's not the same as the other sweet digs vids where I can feel the owners actually really, really in love with their home.
This is beyond annoying. Real people exist. Make a video with real people who are neither rich nor media faces. I challenge you. Find a nurse, a receptionist and a daycare worker.
Yeah but does this even count? It’s a furnished rental and she added a few candles. I’d honestly rather have seen the person who is renting out the house do the walk through. Candles don’t replace a personality. This series has been great so far. Please don’t ruin it.
To fix the 'walk through Amanda's room situation', I'd suggest getting a tension rod and a curtain for Amanda to hide her bed if she needs the privacy. That way, Danielle can walk through without disturbing her.
I think the sloth is cute and matches the aesthetic of the room. It's a cozy home, and I am in love with that kitchen set up: large dinning table and the wall length bookshelf
It amazes me that of almost all of these series there is no clutter anywhere! I need to get better with my life and throw a lot of stuff away! This series actually motivated me to do that, and I still have a lot of shit :((
such a gorgeous home!! I love the airy bright spacious feel. At first I thought the sloth was cute until you mentioned creepy!! LOL now I think he's creepy!! hahaha
I like the house and I'm a big fan of Grey's anatomy, fingers crossed for the new show. Also those people complaining for regular people, hello obviously she's a regular person renting and building a career. Good luck girl.
Not digging this episode. I love seeing regular people's designs and ideas for their spaces. Not knocking her for being an actress, but I am knocking refinery29. You guys have been doing so well with the videos until now.
Sharan Nijjar what's not regular about her? its not like she's a superstar or billionaire she's a young woman sharing a house rental in an average sized home that's about as regular as you can get
I have that exact sloth picture! I love it and it makes my place so much happier! Everyone else says it's nightmare material and like the eyes are always watching you though...
4,200 a month will get you a mini mansion in central California about 3 hours north from Los Angeles and 3.5 hrs from San Francisco. Country living at its best and not too far from the big city life to drive for weekend of fun in the big cities or national parks or beaches.
Could you explain pricing more, especially with shared living spaces? Like how Danielle presumably has to pay more because her room is a bit bigger and she doesn't have to share a bathroom, stuff like that.
I love the space and the house! It seems so homey! The living room felt a little stiff and could use a little help. But other than that very very cute!
Where are all the closets? I'm watching it twice, and just realized there's only one closet? How are they storing all the stuffs? I'm always interested in how people organize and store their stuffs in small rentals/spaces. Thanks.
Do you think the sloth is adorable or creepy? Comment below :)
Creepyyy
Adorable
Adorable!!! And sort of creepy...😂. Love you guys thanks so much for the great content and making me so happy whenever I watch your videos!!!
It's adorable!
Its so Cute!!
and now she has her own big house 🥺❤️ i'm so proud of Dani
Amanda is paying 1,100 a month to sleep on a pull out couch. She could probably find a one bedroom apartment for that price
Yanna Robinson Plus, she said the girl mostly stays with her fiance or boyfriend. Stupid
Lol not in LA
1100 1 bedroom apartment on LA?!?!
I don’t know why people think they can’t find their own place for $1100 give or take. Not in Los Angeles. Apartments in Riverside go for 1600 for a one bedroom. Prices are nuts in Cal.
Her personality is so cute
I like the sloth picture, I would keep it but I also agree it is slightly creepy.
+dreamworks Right?!
Nice house, but privacy is priceless.
She looks and sounds like a happy and positive person. I wish her all the best in her acting career.
I just wish she didn't say that one word 🙄
Hanayuni What word?
Me, too.
What word??
itsskatyy gypsy
heytherespookyface whats wrong with gypsy? X
I don’t think gypsys are paying 4,200 a month to live.
wassup9801453 she’s only paying $1700, the $4200 is split between 3 people
wassup9801453 fr
Thank you. Exactly.
What is an average salary in L.A.? 4.200 $ for that kind of house is too much i think.
I loved Danielle in Too Close to Home, she's is just as sweet and funny as I thought she would be.
This was nice!!! Not to fond of Amanda's space but if she likes it I love it, for her.
baybeetricia how generous
Snipethemapples What do you mean? I'm pretty sure she pays the least anyways. :)
baybeetricia I was thinking that. If I was Amanda I might not be as happy. 😂 I'm not even sure if the rent cut would be worth it fr. I mean it would suck to have people walking through your room all the time.. At least the room mates seem pretty good.
3:26 WHAT DID SHE SAY?! Boyfriend... HELL NO
Don’t worry they broke up a year ago
@@scarletbc2745 lol 😂😅She is not dating Stefani either
@@scarletbc2745 wait how do you know lol

Amanda’s room is not a bedroom.
Dream Dream you’re correct. A bedroom must have a closet to be considered a bedroom for real estate and tax purposes.
Yea... she uses it as a bedroom.
I think the actual purpose of it is as a sitting room.
chill your panties. its somewhere she sleeps, if she doesnt like it she wouldve moved out or changed it, shes there - as said - 3/4 days a week, she has a fiance so that means shes moving out soon anyways.
romantic poetry thank you.

Agreed! Crazy price for a railroad style house. Is that normal for the area?
It depends. But if you want clean, safe, nice area, people in LA pay upwards of $2000 or more a month. LA is slowly becoming just as expensive as New York!
Same thing is starting to happen in Miami.
Chrystle K
Glad you said it 😂😂😂

I've been obsessed with this series and this was like coming back to life after all those suffocatingly tiny new york apartments
I love "sweet digs" series! But i love it more when it talks about nyc apartments
Same!
I like the NY ones better, too. And I like to see apts. that are decorated by the person who lives there. Candles - not enough.
I love her personality! It’s so bubbly and contagious!
I think there's something missing in this video, it's not the same as the other sweet digs vids where I can feel the owners actually really, really in love with their home.
GED
This is beyond annoying. Real people exist. Make a video with real people who are neither rich nor media faces. I challenge you. Find a nurse, a receptionist and a daycare worker.
thaliasghost this isn’t rich and one of the people that lives here is a student
Exactly thank you
If this is rich to you... you are homeless.
thaliasghost Wow these people are not rich... you need to look up “rich”
Rich people don’t room together in a small house 🤦🏾♀️
@@bradebronson8835 what an idiotic statement
I LOVE this show! More please- I'd love to see more around the globe and US!
+lily_ Working on making that happen!
*plays video*
"I live a sort of gypsy lifestyle"
*pauses video*
White girls trying to make themselves seem more interesting lmao 👀😂 i’m like so when are you moving, in 2-3 weeks?
i mean she does, though that was worded poorly. she traveled through the united states during quarantine by living on a trailer.
I love the shooting and editing of this video! Everything flowed so perfectly and the lighting was so beautiful!
+massielgonzalez Thanks so much!
She has such a start quality. I predict big things in her future.
Yeah but does this even count? It’s a furnished rental and she added a few candles. I’d honestly rather have seen the person who is renting out the house do the walk through. Candles don’t replace a personality. This series has been great so far. Please don’t ruin it.
I agree - would be nicer to see the person who decorated.
Oh relax. It's not ruining anything
"candles don't replace a personality" ... don't tell this to 90% of youtube
Nobody on this show owns their apartments so...idk what you're mad about
Did she say she graduated high school at 15 😳 what? how!
I knew her face looked familiar!! READY? LET'S GO! One, two, three, four, five! My name is Brianna and I say hi!!! 😜😜😜
I could watch her all day
This is so cool! I just watched the premiere of "Station 19" and I didn't even recognize her!
I like that you guys are out of NY for this one. Sweet Digs is my favorite R29 series and this vid was by far the funniest one lol
+jiseasam. Thanks for hanging with us!
This is such a cool series!! I look forward to seeing more!!
+planetjunebug Stay tuned on Sunday's!
yes! I love this series and lucie fink 5 days challenges! please more videos like this!!
To fix the 'walk through Amanda's room situation', I'd suggest getting a tension rod and a curtain for Amanda to hide her bed if she needs the privacy. That way, Danielle can walk through without disturbing her.
She’s giving me Brittany Snow vibes! I love her spirit!
I love the sloth picture! I think it’s cute!
Where in LA? The neighborhood makes a big difference! Looks a little like Silverlake?
Oh she's going to be big so excited for station 19
After season 4, she's actually the bigger star of the show.
Omg when she was talking about her love for chocolate It dawned on me that she was on bring it on 3!
Love this one. Can’t wait to see Danielle on Station 19. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
+mattdillon Thanks for tuning in!
I liked it too. I enjoy seeing how other people live and knowing how much they pay for it.
I think the sloth is cute and matches the aesthetic of the room.
It's a cozy home, and I am in love with that kitchen set up: large dinning table and the wall length bookshelf
Love it everytime theres a new Sweet Digs vid!
+bipolarburody Yay! Thanks for watching!
She's so charming
I thought so too! Makes sense that she's an actress; she has a charming persona and is pretty.
It's so refresh to watch a sweet digs video where the girl speaking does not end every sentence in a high pitch, question tone.
It amazes me that of almost all of these series there is no clutter anywhere! I need to get better with my life and throw a lot of stuff away! This series actually motivated me to do that, and I still have a lot of shit :((
I'm so distracted by her face skin! soooo flawlesss, no pores, and has natural radiant glow! you should ask her what's her skincare routine is!
+devinatalia Same!
Beautiful house. He's not creepy.
Que mulher incrível e belíssima é Danielle Savre. Sou apaixonada por Maya Bishop.
you should do some sweet digs vids in Chicago!
+clarapatterson Working on it! :)
i wish this series would expand to cities other than NYC and LA! it’s interesting but i think it would be cool to see more affordable spaces
Okay, Sweet Digs, with the new camera set up! Keep it up! Love the house BTW!
+junekeke Thanks for sticking with us!
No, thank you! Maybe I'll shadow a filming of Sweet Digs. Let me know when you guys are in The City again, haha ;)
still obsessed with this series
+corgias4232 YAS! Same!
New york is way expensive. I used to want to visit new york and life there for awhile but there goes my dream city. 😭
Trisha Kay Paytas this is LA
shutupsavannah I know. I Miss their new york series😭
I love Danielle Savre!
The sloth is ADORABLE!!!
I love this series! Such a cute home.
+rachelgriffin Thanks for tuning in! :)
such a gorgeous home!! I love the airy bright spacious feel. At first I thought the sloth was cute until you mentioned creepy!! LOL now I think he's creepy!! hahaha
She has a great personality
Obviously she no longer live there & no boyfriend too 😁
absolutely no one said "hey maybe we shouldn't call it a 'gypsy lifestyle'???"
wait bulletproof coffee is just coffee with a stick of butter and some oil right? this girl drinks that?
butter?????
in your coffee??
She is very beautiful and gorgeous💕💕💕💕

Chocolate obsession? Girl same!
Love ya DANIELLE SAVRE 💋❤❤tca
Lmao when she breathalyzed herself
Favorite episode so far. :) The sloth is creepy btw. I would get so freaked out seeing that every time I walked into the laundry room 😂
I would take a dry erase marker to the sloth frame! Oh the things it could say!!
That sloth photo is iconic

+sharannijjar Thanks for sharing!
I have that exact sloth picture! I love it and it makes my place so much happier! Everyone else says it's nightmare material and like the eyes are always watching you though...
Meanwhile in oklahoma a rent house over 1400 a month is ridiculous lol
the sloth looks so adorable, he looks like an edmund. although he did start to look a little creepy standing behind you after you mentioned it lool
THE SLOTH IS SO CUTE
Refinery do a San Francisco video! I don’t know your process works on selecting what cities but that one would be a great one for future reference.
+maicha Working on it! :)
I'm creating a "junk drawer" now, thanks! Lol

why would she trek 3hrs to get to LA, where she works?
I feel like that sloth picture kinda creepy tho

I think she said peony correctly, right?
Love her jeans
Danielle Savre is literally my favorite celebrity ever.
Love Danielle
I think the sloth picture is adorable! Now I want one
Y’all didn’t post this series last week! I was very very upset! Please don’t let it happen again!
