I can't debate with a scholar but is it not true that Prophet Dawud (a.s) did not use his beautiful voice for singing but he used it for recitation of Zabur? A prophet does not speak from his desire. Prophets spoke nothing but what Allah wanted them to say. So besides recitation of the scripture, Dawud (a.s) must have said words of praise for Allah. Some say, that he would also play instruments but based on evidences presented by the main stream of Scholars, it is false. So instruments must be avoided. As for singing with voice, if it's about words of praise for Allah and it's good words, there is no harm if one does it without making it a profession.
Sheikh didn't say that Dawood (as) didn't use it for recitation for the Zabur (maybe this is what he meant when he referred to "singing" but maybe meant "recitation" as he was speaking in the moment). Allah knows best.
The earliest cave paintings of mankind show people dancing. So music seems to be as old as speech. It is part of man's global heritage and as such cannot be without fundamental importance. It is perhaps a question of what kind of music should be avoided. But is not music also a heavenly gift?

Just read a report that Beethoven's Fifth symphony takes away cancer from the body. Yes some music is bad but some is not. 🤔
You need to be more discerning when you read
So what! It’s not clinically proven that was the case or some other factors impacted.

Yes and that aligns with islam's claim as the earliest of sins, the second sin of mankind on earth after murder was music.
