This Matched Betting tutorial will talk you through every aspect of what I use to smash in some huge profits from Bet365 by taking advantage of their 2up early payout offer.

We use OddsMonkey and their OddsMatcher to locate a specific football match for 2up we can then place our back bet with the bookmaker and then jump to the betting exchange Smarkets to place a lay bet on the same outcome keeping our qualifying loss as small as possible.
To make money online using the 2up early payout offer we must wait for the team to go 2up and get out early payout from Bet365, once this occus we cash out on Smarkets to conclude the offer and make an overall profit!

Best guide to 2Up's I've come across, you have explained it so well, it was pretty confusing before this, great video, if you keep winning on a regular basis, is this a risk of being gubbed?
You perhaps should have mentioned that if you normally only make £20 bets at B365 then it would be best to gradually increase the size of the stake up to £500/£1000 to save suspicion. I currently do 2ups using very modest £20/£50 stakes so it would alert the traders if I were to suddenly start using £500/£1000 stakes.

One thing I realised about 2ups yesterday. If your team go 2 up with less than 10 mins to go it's unlikely you will be able to cash out as noone wants to take accept your back bet 🙈
Yep that is very true, conversely, if you get an early 2up you will be able to trade out at a very favourable price on the exchange and lock in a nice profit
Do you have any key tips for not getting gubbed? I have a few friends that do this and they have all been gubbed from various bookmakers. I did it for a while but stopped as their experiences put me off!

seen a few of your vids now have you ever thought about putting a back bet on the over 1.5 + over 2.5 goals and trading out when first goal is scored on the 2 up matches that you do to earn a little extra cash on top of the potentential earnings
So you laying a bet for the opposing team to win…? What happens if the result is a draw
A lay bet is strictly betting on a team not to win, which can account for the opposing team picking up the win or the match concluding as a draw, you are essentially in the role of a bookmaker when laying on an exchange
Hi Liam, thanks for the great vid, you know when you talk about the bankroll, for example we have 10,000, would the total amount be for both bet365 and Smarkets? Or would it be 10,000 for each so 10,000 in bet365 and 10,000 in Smarkets totally 20,000?

So Good evening I’m back, I see you somehow managed to delete my comment of yesterday. I’m just back to say that if anyone had done the spurs game tonight, Yes you would have got a 2up goal score line, but unless you were prepared to send the proposed £300 stake in play into the game, without a pre match lay bet (which would have been some minus £30), and hoped spurs scored first! This is a classic game to illustrate that you will be taking on a shedload of risk with this offer. Yes you will get winners but you will get a lot of losers, be prepared to be in for a bumpy ride. It is nothing like as rosy as is maintained in this video.
YT deletes comments it perceives as being spam. There is no risk long term doing this proving you keep your matches as tight as possible between the bookmakers and the exchange's prices, this way the qualifying loss you will take is small in relation to your back stake and it is already defined before the match starts and goes in-play.
The profits and qualifying losses you will take between when this hits and when it doesn't are relative to the stake size that you use, with the wins being exponentially larger than the smaller QLs
Whatever happens in the short term including the various losses you are likely to take when going through a rough spell of variance is an irrelevance when matched betting as at the end of each month, after getting on a large volume of 2ups you have a profit.

Hi Paula,
Once the team you have backed have gone 2 goals ahead and you can see that the bookmaker has paid out your back bet, head over to the exchange and trade out of your lay bet, this is the entire process.
The profit from the bookie's early payout will outweigh the loss from trading out of the lay bet on Smarkets.

Stakes somewhat in relation to your stakes your using with 2up is what I usually recommend.
Mug betting on accas is usually best for looking like a recreational punter and making your account look natural 😊

Each time a 2up doesn’t hit you will take a small qualifying loss of whatever back stake you used.
These losses are very small and once you hit a 2up win they are completely wiped out

The cash-out strategy has a relatively high strike when sticking with the odds range of 2.0-4.0. I haven’t collected the data on the exact strike rate but they do occur frequently, be sure to keep your QLs to a minimum by taking really tight matches and you will be completely fine and will make a profit every month
Hang on, what happens once you've traded out and bought the back bet if that team then goes on to draw or lose? You've lost the second back bet and have no lay?
Once you cash out on the exchange the loss is fixed on that website regardless of the eventual outcome.
Your win is guaranteed with the bookmaker as a result of the 2up taking place, even if the team you backed end up blowing the win.
The guaranteed win from the 2up with the bookmaker is always larger than then guaranteed loss from cashing out and hedging on the exchange
Hi Liam when you place your mug Acca bets how do you find a good match to limit your QL's?
Working it out manually is the way I did it Mark, generally, as a rule of thumb the higher the back odds as a result of having more legs in an acca, the larger the spread between the lay odds on the exchange and the larger the overall QL

Is there a bet choice 50/50 percentage to win for example: (who will win in football match Barcelona or real madrid, if i bet on bacelona, but Real Madrid wins i will lose my money, if barcelona wins i will double my money.)
If Barcelona was at odds of 2.0 on an exchange (50% implied probability) you would double your money if Barcelona won and if Real Madrid won or the match ended as a draw you would lose your money

I'm not sure of the average amount of times I get on a 2up before they hit, however they generally hit pretty commonly and I quite often get a profit, Just keep your QL’s as small as possible and you will be completely fine

I try to place 1 or 2 mug accas per week with bet365.
Accas are very poor value the the customer and therefore this is what bookmakers want to see their recreational punters betting on.
If your using really large stakes on 2up, your mug bet stakes should also be high in relation to this.
For example, staking really high for 2up, and then, placing a £5 mug bet acca isn’t going to achieve anything. Mug bet staking in relation to what your staking using your offers is important for maintaining your account for as long as possible.

@@Jamie-nm8ru it’s hard to say for definite, but whatever amount you stake you are always going to be taking value and this is something that bookmakers simply don’t like from their customers.
I would be sure to place mug bets in relation to what stakes you use for 2ups to look as natural as possible.

Yes gubbings are all part of the game unfortunately, you can either take it on the chin and leave the offer behind or gain access to various bookie accounts and keep hitting the offer hard as it is arguably the best matched betting offer that's still available

@@adams768 You would have to speak to trusted friends and family and arrange using accounts in their names. They ban people who continually take value and earn more money than they lose, long term the bookies are only interested in people who lose money which isn't ideal for us matched bettors
Won't the cashout loss on the exchange drift in your favour as the game goes on? Also surely a goal from the losing team would definitely drop the loss? I suppose the danger is a 3rd goal being scored by the 2 up team... Also wouldn't it make sense to combine it with an over/under bet on 1.5 or 2.5 goals?! 🤔
Hi John,
The cash out loss will drift and therefore go against you as the price on the draw will be coming in until a goal is scored.
Throughout the match, once goals are scored, both your bets between the bookie and the exchange will continually cancel each other out (one cash out will go up and the other will go down).
The edge with the offer comes from taking a tight match and therefore a very small QL, and subsequently getting paid out your full profit from Bet365 once your team go 2up.

Good video mate. Just a quick question, If getting gubbed doing matched betting is guaranteed regardless of what stake you bet, what do you do once your gubbed? Do you use somebody else’s account or?
Hi Mate,
Certain bookies can be quicker to gub than others, Bet365 are one of the bookmakers which tend to give much more leeway so those accounts can last much longer than other bookie accounts, but they will still be closed down at some point as a result of taking value.
Gubbings are part of the parcel when it comes to matched betting unfortunately. If and when they occur you have the option to open out new accounts with family and friends and continue matched betting with those bookmakers although there is a large grey area around opting to do this which you should weigh up the pros and cons before you decide on whether or not to do it.
Goodness me did you say you g! Have £10,000 just for 2ups? So what is your estimated overall bank for all matched getting activities?

It changes but it’s generally around 10-15k.
Don’t let these numbers put you off at all though, big profits are still very much attainable from matched betting each month using a much smaller bank, it just requires a little harder work.

I place the bets on just one bet365 account, I also place mug bets on accas then lay them off each week to feed some value back into the account for the bookmaker.
Smarkets generally have enough liquidity on the bigger football matches such as in the premier league, championship and champions league so those are the games that I would target for 2up.

I try to do this as little as possible and withdraw from the exchange whenever its needed.
Of course, sometimes this cant be helped and you need to withdraw from Bet365, when this is the case I make sure not to withdraw my entire balance.

I would weight your bank roll slighly towards the betting exchange as the liability will always tie up more money than the back stake with the bookmaker

Yes mate, it does the same thing. The early payout calulator is best say you have various lay bets on the same team from other matched betting offers, that will allow you to cash out of the 2up without cashing out the rest of the offers

I always cash out when the team goes 2 goals up and after the bookmaker pays out my back bet early. You could also go for the ful turnaround strategy which In have done in the past, got a video comming out soon on that strategy.
I am still new to 2ups but I have been cashing out 50% when the team goes 2up and then leave the rest for the go for glory. Just decided that I wanted to get some profit but would kick myself if i cashed out and then there was a full turn around.

The matches that I target generally have more than enough liquidity for me as they are high quality games such as in the premier league, champions league and the championship.
If I ever get on a lower liquid market I just have to fit my stakes in around that and ensure my stakes are at an appropriate size.
And yeah just be consistent getting on the 2ups, keep the QL's as small as possible and it all works out rather nicely :)
Which is the best exchange to use? Both Smarkets and Betfair can be same commission of 2%
0% commission is very beneficial when using larger stakes on the 2up offer.
Smarkets offer 0% when you are an oddsmonkey member which is worth taking advantage of.

This strategy isn’t about winning every time, it’s a balance of winning and losing. Keep your QL’s as small as possible and your ratings as high as possible. Do this and you will be completely fine and will make a profit at the end of each month

Nice video mate, been matched betting and trading for years but have always stayed away from 2ups just because I can't be arsed with the variance for a full turnaround and assumed cashing out would be for not much more that the QL. But your example at the start shows there are decent profits from cashing out too 😃

It's likely that you would get to the same place over the long run when running the full turnaround method, but it's unlikely to be able to get to that point with just one account as a result of bookie restrictions
What if the team you back is 1 nil up and remains the say score. The lay only covers the draw and loss and the back only wins if your 2 goals ahead. So dont you lose everything?
You'll have a small qualifying loss
You will take a small QL between the back bet and the lay bet

This can vary depending on seasonality, generally 10-20 2up’s per week or somewhere around that area.
I tend to use big divisions and competitions such as premier league, championship, champions league etc

You know when you get alerted on like a 98+ you jump on the laptop only to find the rating has decreased, do you personally lay at the alert odds and hope it goes back to the higher rating? This is a good question, it can be really frustrating when the price moves against you on the exchange increasing your qualifying losses on your 2up.
However, within the last 60 minutes before kick off there is lots of price movement in the markets after team news has been released, and as you said, if your able to read which direction the market is moving in you will be able to get your position in the queue waiting to get matched.

I haven't kept detailed records of month to month profits from doing the 2up offer.
Generally, my profits range from around £700-£1000 each month after placing mug bets every week to try and maintain as much account health as I can.

Yes you are able to log your 2ups in the profit tracker on OddsMonkey, you will have to manually add them in as logging the trigger bet through the OddsMatcher will only calculate your QL if there is no 2up in the game

There is also paddy power who run this offer but the odds aren’t great with them and it’s pretty difficult get close to a 98% match.
And yeah, I have had accounts restricted from doing 2ups, It takes quite a long time for them to restrict me as I place mug accas with large stakes and lay them on the exchange.
Doing this gives the bookie some value at the cost of a qualifying loss

Yes I do, I wouldn’t create an account then jump in with these stakes straight away as that could flag up on the bookmakers radar.
And ultimately you will get gubbed from doing this regardless of what stakes that your using, it’s better to take the value as quickly as you possibly can, whenever an opportunity arises in my opinion .

I do feel mug betting does help to prolong your accounts and allows your to squeeze more money out but of course, ultimately, it doesn’t change the overall outcome of your accounts.

Playing 1000 £ on easy odds like
1000£ x 1.10 per day
If you were to do this on a betting exchange where the markets are efficient and the odds represent true probability you would expect to break even over the long term.
Although you would win 91% of the time betting at short odds of 1.10 those wins would be really small. However, the 9% of times where your bets didn't win would provide you with large losses.
Both the small wins and larger losses will cancel each over out over longer period, you would break even due to the efficiency of the odds on the betting exchange.
Is there a way of identifying matches where one side is likely to go two goals ahead?
Unfortunately not, this is one of the small downsides of 2up, having to take any match that is available

I can't give you a definite answer on that one. If you're using really large stakes which I was showing in this video you will need to be placing a few mug bets each week using big stakes or a gubbing would almost certainly occur very quickly.
Won't you stand out to bet365 if you're placing £500 bets?
Granted this isn't the norm, but you will be surprised at the amounts certain customers will bet with sportsbooks. I certainly wouldn't jump from £50 stakes to £500 stakes, with that being said, I have had accounts last a considerable amount of time with larger stakes

Anything that takes value is bad for account health, in my opinion, its probably best to strike while the iron is hot as opposed to being overly cautious with the account, after all, we are all heading for the dreaded gubbings at the end of the day anyway
