You're welcome! When you talked about safety with the grinding wheel, that reminded me of when I was using a table saw and it chucked a stud right into my gut! It knocked the wind out of me!
Excellent tips and work. (I'm not even a toy car collector yet find these restoration videos entertaining. That said, who knows? Maybe one day I'll do a few special cars for my thirty-year-old son and future grand kids, or commission someone else to do them instead.)
Yo always wanted to know how this was done. Thanks for your time and effort on this video. I know know what I will do for my cars painted with nail polish. I just need to master removing the rivets.

That's looks a hell of a lot better and easier than me using a darn dremel all the time lol. Nice work

You should...but be warned, its HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!
No its the same as it always was.... I was testing the fit and forgot it was there... You have a sharp eye!!
I always hold the body by a post with vise-grips. Heat is good when polishing. Pros preheat aluminum to get a good polish.
I really enjoyed that.. I think a lot of my favourites deserve to be done like this.. look good in a shelf case! thank you for doing this one!
Awesome tutorial! I noticed you left the window in, did the window turn that color through the process?
Should I try this polishing if I’m using spectraflame or creatx transparent paint?
Fantastic, Thank You, Thank You. I'm looking into a Polisher for my garage. You've cleared up alot for me.
Will a buffing wheel on the Dremel work (well 2 separate ones) with the compounds?
Very great video a lot of great info and how to. Great.
i have never even considered using a solvent to remove polish.. Thank you i don't know why I never thought of this...
Thanks Mark!!
Is it possible to color this metal with heat, like steel?
Unfortunately no that would be very cool if it could I tried dozens of times..
Thank you... I supose it's a zinc alloy.
Nice job, useful pointers, keep it up!
Hi...What's the name of the product you put on the water?
Nice tutorial!
Would a rotary rock tumbler work to polish car bodies ? My guess is the vibratory tumbler would work best , but the noise level is an issue for me .
Can you make a list for all the supplies you need to do this
Did you do the clear Coat video
