if you guy's haven't, I think it'd be really wholesome to see you two play It Takes Two together. it requires two players, as there are two characters required, and there's no bot that can play the other character.
Also i would like to point out few things seems like u haven't figured out yet -
1) a pal elemental type only indicate their weakness not strength. For example water pal is weak against electric attacks not electric pals. And any pal cam equip electric atks using skill fruit. U need to change those. So for fighting a boss u need to keep in mind that if the boss is fire for example, ur pal isn't grass or ice and they have water atacks equipped.
2) u have too many useful schematics u haven't used. Like compound bow schematics is broken. Also if u have a compound bow schematic, u don't need to waste technology point unlocking those in tech tree. Just equip in inventory and u can directly make them.
3) passives are a huge part of the game and u can change them from pal surgery table. U can get rare passive modules to use in pal surgery from bounty officers and pal arena. And modules aren't one time use, infinite uses.
3) fishing is op. Give ur wife best fishing rods and bait.anf u would have best pals. Its just there are many fishing regions. She is fishing in beginners region only. Try in high ranked regions.
4) dungeon's is the same problem also. U only did dungeons in beginners region. Do dungeon in higher difficulty region for better rewards.
5) exlore the outer islands , especially the terraria dungeon. Cause terraria dungeon has some broken schematics u can unlock otherwise and all of the terraria stuff are broken. Especially terraprisma.
He already knows about palworld, he's already played this before, he's just playing it at his wife's level

As a note for the turrets on the oil rigs, there's a terminal on the base that you can hack to instantly destroy them, and if you can get right up against the base of the turret it will be unable to hit you as it can't aim far enough down. You also do not want to approach an oil rig from the air, as they have anti-air turrets that will very quickly KO any flying pal you are riding (this includes Jetragon, which is both a Legendary Pal and the fastest flying mount in the game by a very large margin, and Jetragon will still get one-shotted by one of those anti-air turrets) and knock you out of the air.
Also, it's actually worthwhile to do Zoe's quest, since completing her questline will reward you by letting you recruit Zoe & her Grizzbolt as an ally, where she can either travel alongside you or help work at your base. She also has a recently added Halloween costume that you can unlock by doing another quest for her where she gives you the blueprint for it and you simply have to make it for her, and after giving her the completed costume, you can then have her wear said costume the same way you put the sailor outfit on your Quivern.
Another thing you can do now is you can actually sleep on a pal bed as well, if you want to sleep through the night you do not actually need to sleep in an ectual human bed, you can sleep through the night on a Pal Bed as well.
They also recently did a collaboration with Terraria and added some gear and monsters (which you can catch and use as Pals) from Terraria to the game in a special somewhat hidden location (but you'll know you're in the right spot as soon as you get there), and they will be doing a new collaboration with ULTRAKILL in the near future as well. So hopefully that gets you excited too, as it means they're very open to collabs and crossovers with other franchises. :)
you can tick the allow transport on your structure so pal will pick up stuff from structure smelter for example, also please collect skill fruit all pal can learn any element skill even captured humans
Sounds good! Yeah we have stocked up pretty good on those skill fruits just havent used them yet. I was just waiting for us to breed better pals before using them. Our pals are good but their stats suck haha
@isyzen I did the same thing and I ended up with a mountain of superfluous skill fruits in my late game hoard because I felt they were too special to spend on less than perfect pals. Take it from a fellow hoarder, although it is wise to keep one copy of each good skill fruit you find, it's better to throw some of the duplicate fruits on any pal you tend to bring with you for combat purposes.
This is especially true for Sand Tornado, Flare Storm, and Seed Mine. These are all unusually strong skills with medium cool downs and more importantly you can simply buy new ones for modest amounts of coins at various merchants. A good skill can make a huge difference in how effective a pal is in combat so don't end up regretting not using them sooner like I did.

Hey Syzen, this play through has been amazing so far! ProTip to help with production at the base if you can, plant lettuce and tomato plantations to make salad! It’s the best and cheapest food for pal sanity. Huge difference so they aren’t constantly hungry and veering off task!

All those extra knocklems are great for mining and transport. Use the pal surgery table to put nocturnal and work speed passives on base pals so they work all night. Just make sure they have salad and hot tubs to off set SAN loss.

There is a quest in the desolate church with Zoey, the first raid boss, where you can get her and grizbolt as a "pal". You can also capture Zoey straight out at the same location. Looking forward to you and your wife playing more!
The glitch doesnt work anymore u cant catcher the bosses
@mianl9574it's not a glitch, that was patched. It's an actually mission in the game now. You can get two varieties of Zoey now and it isn't at the boss tower.

I've tried streaming on youtube and for some reason it was REALLY choppy and dropping frames every second. Im not sure why
I'm excited for the 200 days of this game and for the potential of Syzen and Claire in Conan Exiles in the future, since Claire is constantly getting better and better at survival games.
Edit: next 100 days make sure to leave map markers at every skill fruit tree you find so you can stock up on them for when you want pals to learn specifics skills of specific types.
2:18:00 One tip for oil platforms: The turrets can be "hacked" if you run up to the little computer screen on them, which destroys them without wasting ammo.
Also, cakes don't "spoil" while in the Breeding Farm's built-in chest, nor if they're left in the cook station they're made in, so I just have 12/40 cakes sitting in a cooking pot waiting for me to rebuild my setup at my next base, lmao

you can catch the legendaries easily but first you need to catch Blazmut (at least 4) then got to catch the next legendary Frostallion by placing down a palbox near it's location then drop all the blazmut and your high level fire pals through the palbox and then fight frostallion there that should make it east to catch these pals and you can do the same for jetragon also u you would have to use the legendary pal spheres or above.
You know what this is smart as hell. I didnt even think about that! Next time we're doing this for sure
@isyzen make sure the pals you are using are close to level 50 and you should carry a rocket launcher for sure

Randomized pal mode is way harder than this also i would not recommend hardcore pal randomized mode bc it just makes the game 10x harder than its supposed too lol but if you do good luck and i hope to see more of this game from you
"I have played before" "IDK what those trees are" "I don't know where the tower is", even though those sentences don't make sense in the same video series I am so glad you seem to be still very much "new" to the game, it makes the whole adventure seem way more magical to witness when you and your wife are more or less on the same newbie level

I think this is a good couples game. Can do the whole thing together but can have your own stuff. Also get lots of memorable stories because the game tends to do rule of cool.
