The best part about Hirschfelden is that the entire species lineup is geared towards newer players that may only have the .243 in their inventory. The goose retrofit also made it amazing as far as grinding your shotgun skill up. The bad part of hirschfelden is a lot of the zones on the map are pretty much impossible to sneak up on. It's definitely not a map that has great grinding potential.
It actually has great grinding potential, most of the lakes are really easy to set up on, I did red deer successfully and fallow are easy to, fox are quite hard tho
Bison for me but let me tell you what my brothers is because it’s his favourite for a funny reason So my brothers favourite animal is the roe deer just because and I quote “ they roe deer callers is so cute and because of this they are a friend “ because of this when we play together we are not allowed to shoot them unless it’s a rare or a diamond because they are friend shaped. He also bring the roe deer caller on every hunt no matter the map. This is why all my hunts with my brother as so fun whenever I kill a big animal I just hear the little squeak of the caller and it makes my day. Little thing like this is why I love to play with him will the little time I have to play games now
Fallow deer are my favorite species, and my favorite trophy is my bald leucistic cananda goose. I love hunting the fields on the map, but that’s about it. The foliage gets to be too much, and hunting bodies of water on the map is kind of a pain in the butt.
@ I’ve hunted every single body of water on the map, hence why I have an opinion on them. Some of them are steep, many have a lot of foliage surrounding them. They just aren’t worth hunting when I can just go to another map with way better drink zones.
My favourite species of Hirsch is a tough decision, i cant decide. I like the geese, fallow, red, roe, bison. Least favourite probably pheasant. Only trophy off Hirsch is a gorgeous piebald roe. That first roe deer is massive! Did you just say bacon at that wild boar? 😂
My favourite Species on Hirschfelden is probably the European Bison or Red Deer both Iconic and Classic species for Hirschfelden and my favourite trophy from Hirschfelden is probably my Diamond Wild Boar I have found them to be challenging and hard to find at times but it was so cool to finally get one after more than a year of playing plus my Layton Lakes Trophy Cabin is filling up nicely I just need a ● Diamond Moose, ● Diamond Blacktail, ● Diamond Whitetail, ● Diamond Mallard, ● Diamond Whitetailed Jackrabbit, ● Diamond European Rabbit, ● Diamond Roe Deer, ● Diamond Red Deer and a Diamond Fallow Deer all have to be hunted on Layton Lakes or Hirschfelden.

Yeah most bushes are pretty much useless which really sucks on such a dense map, still love it tho

Love this map, as it makes for great authentic hunting gameplay. More realistic than the grinding that other maps seem to be made for.

My fav is the euro bison, the rares are cool and the diamonds are pretty nice. Also, it’s just fun to hunt them, especially when they go aggressive!!
My favorite animal on Hirschfelden is European Bison, and my best trophy is a silver albino fallow deer.
Man I really tried to get a trophy bison this week but they didn't cooperate
