Hello friends. In this video I present the process of obtaining the sprout (seedling) of banana and planting in the field. We can obtain the banana seedling in several ways, in the case of the video, we chose to remove the shoots. We must choose the most vigorous shoot so that production is as short as possible, the bigger the seedling, the faster its development. The transplantation of the banana shoot must be carried out in the rainy season and it is important to remove all the leaves so that it does not suffer from dehydration, allowing the emission of roots that will sustain its growth. Between the transplant and the emission of the bunch, it took 14 months and the harvest was carried out after 20 months. To proceed with the harvesting of the banana bunch, a visual criterion can be adopted, where the point is defined by the rounding and the disappearance of longitudinal edges on the banana peel.
