I think this schedule is based on 2 things. 1 - Centre has announced that NEET counselling will start from July 3rd week, which should be sometime this week. 2 - Supreme court is going to give some directive on NEET case on 18th. It is a sensible decision by IISER, since by the 30th, at least 3 rounds of NEET counselling would have happened and most of the meritorious candidates would have landed a medical seat by then. So based on the acceptance rate of second round IISER will schedule the 3rd round with more realistic cutoffs. Looks like they have done some thorough home work to ensure seats don't go waste this time around.
bhaiya mera iiser ka ews rank 587 he last hear 540 kuch cutoff gaya tha, abhi edge pe hu. aur idhar counselling bhi bahut late ho raha he, aur baki colleges ke khatam ho raha he, aur mere paas iiser he last option he, to me kya karu?? please batao. kya iiser ke liye wait karu ya koi private college me admission lelu, mera financial background unta aacha nahi he, private colleges ki afford nahi kar sakta, mene mera state level entrance exam bhi nahi likha ab mere paas iiser ke alawa koi option nahi he to kya karu?? iss saal bahut mehanat kiya jee ke liye fir bhi 92 percentile aaya, cutoff bhi clear nahi hu, mere se jitna ho sakta tha utna kiya ab koi bhi colleges nahi he jaano ko, kisi bhi acche private college me jane ke liye fees bhi aachi khasi lag rahi he, me utna afford nahi kar sakta aur na loan bhi le sakta he, kyuki me research me intrested hu job nahi karna chahata, mere parents par unnecessary burden ho jayega, aap kuch suggest kar sakte ho ki kya kar sakta hu??
If you are interested in Research and not want to join private.... Also not have patience to wait till last round then.... Take admission any BSC college..... Study hard there for 3years then give master exam like IIT jam ....etc... then you will get offer for master degree at IISER and IIT.... Join there and continue your journey.... However...., if you wait till last round then your admission is surely confirmed as seat had increased..... I will suggest to wait till last round and join any BSC college for taking degree and study hard for your subject there
I got 3293 gen and 231 EWS rank. If there is any chance of getting IISER can you tell me around which round I maybe offered a seat and in which IISER? Also should I also get admission to any other college as a back up?
Last 10 years data kasa daa skta hai 2016-2018 maa iisers bnaa thaa abb jaka baccha apni phd aur post docs krr raha aur starting ka 1, 2 batch saa itna sara baccha professor top universities and institutes maa including iisc and iits. R&D department of big industries and many more. But most do jobs or become professor in the same country where they completed their higher education

The engineering science of Iiser is not better than any government engineering college. You would just regret joining iiser if your dream and aim is to be an engineer or to get placement.
