Created on April 1st 1999, Nunavut is Canada's newest territory. It was established by the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement Act. Located in the northeastern arctic of Canada, the territory covers an area of 2,038,722 km² with a land mass of 1,877,787 km². It is bordered by Newfoundland, Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba to the south. to the west is the Northwest Territories.

Come with me as I drive from the Iqaluit International Airport to the Beer & Wine store where we can purchase beer, wine, cider and coolers. There is no hard alcohol for sale in town, except if you go to a bar for a gin & tonic, which is so tasty when you haven't had one in a long time. To order bottles of hard liquor, that you must get a permit, and order it to be delivered through cargo.

Do they sell hard liquor and cannabis there? Just curious. I bet the prices are insane..
Hard liquor can be purchased with a permit and comes via cargo; you have to hire a shopper in Ottawa or Montreal. Or drink your gin and tonics, or whisky, at the bar. Beer and Wine store sells beer, wine, coolers (with liquor but only 5% usually) and cider. The limit at the store is 24 beers/coolers or 4 bottles of wine per day. What is peak hour traffic like?
Amazing question, @ameshaspenta3743! The entire city rotates around the work day because many people have kids in daycare. So there is traffic at 8am, 12 and 5 pm. Getting out of the area with office buildings requires going through the 4-way stop downtown.
