And difficulty aside, preloaded content is just SO BORING! The Astral campaign is a good example - round starts and enemies just take turns for days, wave spawns and more turns for days. It wasn't even remotely a challenge, but it sure was boring as hell just waiting for me to stop watching enemy animations until I might finally be allowed to press a damn button.
i see two problems with that frozen dimension - the rewards at the end is not at the level of the effort required to reach the end, the reward are quite similar to the previous dark dimension, which you could roll over with G18 annihilators in auto - the pre-loaded turn meter is just a cheap way to obliterate your team so you have to revive your stuff if you want to continue, even more when you check the stats of some of those toons, +250% damage, +100% health, like come on... that not "hard" content, it is just punishing content as for the difficulty, they are kinda creating their own problem because they want to sell characters, and for that, well, they have to make the nodes even more frustrating with anything that is not the new character to go through, like, annoyed by those 80% turn meter ? buy Kahhori that start with 200% turn meter!! and there is a lot of stuff they could do, they have pact that add tags to characters, they could make funny nodes, like imagine nodes which would have a bunch of X-men that would have all the X-men tags so they would all synergy with each other or throw a bunch of villain and give them all the master of evil tag or throw some guardian, knowhere and Infinity watch and they all share each other tags like there is so many stuff that could be done with tag sharing for enemies Or you could create rules that don't feel like punishing, idk, on any turn, character with turn gain a bunch of barrier, which mean if you don't want to get stuck hitting a wall, you need to bring character that counter barrier or work around it, or can remove taunt, etc Node get a specific strategy (need some anti-taunt stuff) which mean you cannot just auto it, but as long the node is not something like shove 8 black knight in a single wave, it is more than doable as long as you use your brain Fight to me are fun when they feel like you have the tools to go through it, you just need to find the correct strategy, like a puzzle, there is no strategy in stuff like Apoc and 2 ares drop at the same time with 100% turn meter and wreck your face, you just go, get wrecked, wait for the next try so you can go without them having their ability up
Can I guess, double pre-taunt toon, double of annoying powerful new toon. This is devs being lazy. Just makes things hard. There is no puzzle nor any thought put into it. Lazy devs, slacking content. Not fun, just hard for difficulty sake. So happy they have ALL those days off. Must be exhausting figuring out which toons to double up on in all this PvE content.
I 100% agree that the problem is a lack of customization. I would much rather that instead of endlessly increasing the level cap they stop at level 100 and release some sort of new system that allows customizing characters. Whether that manifests itself as something like mods or a skill tree or that "moments" thing that was briefly talked about and never mentioned again. Just anything other than endlessly scaling levels and gear.
If I spent my time and/or hard earned money for my teams to be strong in this game, and I have maxed-out characters, the content they release for everyone ought to be mind-numbingly easy. I didn't spend my time on this game just to lose repeatedly until I get lucky. I get wanting challenging content, but I'm playing to win, not to be shown no matter what I do I'll never be good enough. It's genuinely insane to me when I hear people saying content is too easy. That's the actual point of leveling up: to make things easy. If I'm over here grinding this game for a minimum of an hour a day, I expect to be able to win and other people who do not do as much work as I do to not be able to win. It's different for content where you're going against actual opponents. There should be some level of fairness between people who are working hard and/or paying to play. When it comes to PvE content, though, it makes no sense that I have to play against an impossible, game-breaking opponent I'll never overcome even if I'm at max levels. People have to stop saying 'too easy.' Things should be easy once you get to the endgame. If you're still leveling up, they should be hard. If the people who are the most powerful are complaining things are too easy, they will make them impossible like this. It's your fault they do this. Please stop it. I get that you want challenging content, but you're at the end of the game. You should be cruising. If you don't like being at the apex of the game, restart. It'll get real challenging real fast. The 'too easy' talk is just making things stressful for everyone. Imagine starving in the desert for eternity, and when you finally reach the edge of the desert and see some water, it turns out you're on a beach and the water is salt water. It's not 'too easy.' It's easy for endgame players. It's supposed to be. Stop it. Please. For everyone's sake.

Good luck on the Absolute a force 3 mission. The bots turn meter won’t even let you attack…. I’m using a 3m Hank pym, kestrel, gg classic, Penni and Kang team. You Definitely need a full orchis team synergy to clear node.

I've said this so many times, in so many CC streams, but the reason we all fear and complain difficulty is because THIS is what Scopley considers difficulty. They are not great at making complex puzzles for the community to solve. They're really good at frontloading turn meter and making resist walls. Resist walls are not fun, pre-loaded turn meter is not fun. Its hard to trust Scopley with difficulty when they prove time and time again that resist walls that require diamonds to overcome is compelling gameplay.
Disagree that they don't. The scourges were well tuned and thought out. Some of the best content. Since the main guy left for Netflix, they seem to be lost creating balancing content
Adding scourges is costumization. Strategies using different kits or abilities to overcome the waves is fun. But that requires work, time and skill to provide the challenge. All those are in short (or no) supply at scopely because of lack of proper investment into the game. Yet they fomo us into spending a lot.
They want to make us use health packs and make krakens spend money on health packs until they finish it first before everyone else does. it makes no sense and the rewards are still trash. 50k snow globes should have been 3 million more gold added to the 3 and 5 million gold rewards as well.
Also war buffs are on (with no communication about that whatsoever). So full Absolute A Force should fly right through. That’s also part of the reason (in addition to preloaded turn meter on top of it) the enemies go faster than Orchis on many nodes.

I log in from time to time. After I had to go through a struggle of getting my account back after it got obliterated for some reason, I log in a bit more frequently. I don't really play except for bits here and there. Man, when you don't care, the game isn't bad. Man, imagine how fun the game would be if it wasn't designed to get folks to pay.
The speed bar is one thing. Why am I going into other battles with two stacks of exhausted? I could understand having exhausted on one node but now it feels like I'm being punished for taking certain characters up against Mephisto because the next five nodes, I'm fighting with characters on steroids along with two stacks of exhausted. I'm forced to let them die hoping tomorrow those stocks will now be cleared

People haven't realized that they ALSO require all the toons to have Purple Iso3. So this is NOT F2P at all. 90% won't complete this, not even once. This is a non event, it's just a gear check disguised again. I have all my Orchis at G19 and even Kahori at G18. I won't drop Purple Iso3 on them 🙅🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Hey that’s what i just said. 😂. This seems more annoying than anything else. Annoying is not the same thing as challenging. Preloaded turn meter and other shenanigans are just trash mechanics to avoid the actual work of properly balancing nodes based on character comps and character power levels.
I played SWGOH for the first 7 years of it being live. Quit because the grind to stay mostly free to play was a mental drain. Joined this game like two months ago. Already level 71, but what I find dumb is some of the most powerful characters in the Marvel universe are trash in this game. And almost every legendary is wack. Even the hard characters to farm are worthless. At least in SWGOH you could sorta find different combos to battle the “meta” teams. Not for defense, but you could (back then) create an offensive team that could beat the number 1 team.
Another pocket dimension I can’t engage in because Kahori shards are only available through orbs. Orbs are one of the worst ways to farm characters….i don’t need 100 wasp or 205 ironheart shards.
This is why they need way more characters with some that are more exclusive. Why have premium orbs and stores if characters aren't exclusive to those types of acquisition methods? They basically dump every character on everyone, who all do the exact same thing on every roster, so you need to tune it on the idea that everyone has everyone. I can remember struggling with the story modes when I first played the game, so I had to farm and invest in certain heroes to get past it. Now, everyone is dumped stars and unlocks for every characters, so that every roster does the same thing. I remember having to core 5 shards whenever I could to scramble together Black Widow shards because she wasn't available anywhere other than the store. Why not have other heroes like that and NOT make them mandatory for unlocking the next legendary characters?
It's so funny how they open it up for tech toons like Orchis so they can say it's F2P friendly but still design it in a way that forces you to spend for A-force. I get it if it's harder to do with non A-force but you literally can't even take a turn unless you use A-force

You captured the primary reason I decided to step away from the game: there’s essentially only one viable progression path for your account. I initially thought I enjoyed the game enough to start an alternate account, but I soon realized that, unlike SWGOH, there’s little incentive for a non-CC to create an alt in Marvel Strike Force (MSF). The experience lacks variety-no alternative progression paths, no unique account builds-just a repetition of the same grind, with the addition of power-crept teams.
Everyday that goes by is another day that proves I made a great decision by not spending anymore. Until they make the game fair again and engaging ill continue being F2P. This era of being pay to play and pay to participate is a brave path they have chosen in the most negative way possible.
scopely doing another poorly done job, don't unlock kahori yet, I passed Mephisto's nodes with full orchid, it was a pain, I spent a lot of cures, it's sad to see a C15-16 team destroy your team with diamonds, and it's a lot of effort for a lot of crap, crappy rewards, I'll do this without blow out my credit card
I won't be putting anymore money into brand new teams after the battleworld/astral shenanigans, i spent tons of money on them because they were THE team for battleworld and it gets taken down, so as many others are gonna do, just do the annihilator nodes and that's it
I gave them the benefit of the doubt with all the posts saying the Rewards were crap but even the per Node rewards are shit compared to last time. Crappy event orbs no daimonds
they always seem to recycle a bunch of nodes from Dark Dimensions or old Events and things too. I had this double Kang node in DD7 that took me 2 weeks to beat because they would just alternate ults at the beginning behind multiple taunts that even if I got to outrun them I still couldn't take out the taunts before they would just wipe my team. then I have to just keep losing on repeat just because some characters randomly spawned in at a very bad time. tedious is not a difficulty and when they do this every time and then later nerf it to the extent that it is not even a challenge to play. wish they would either seek outside help from players or something to try and figure out a way to change this same hamster wheel we have been on for years.
this is just trash. they need to make good challenging battles. a puzzle who do i debuff, who to turn speed on. do i ult or save it. instead they go with the most lazy, money grab trash by giving the a.i super speed. this mode is just to drain your cores. for trash rewards . already hate FROZEN DIMENSION

i'm at this node 3 out 4 absolute a force at purple iso kahhori at 4 rd and yeah it's not fun it's actually horrible shadowking is i found the biggest threat for me going through this node
They can make challenging puzzles without rng. They can set a kill order, or maybe do moves in the right order to get through. Thats how puzzles work. They choose not to. If they bring mods. I am quiting.
Boomer, If you want to play a hard game go play elden ring or any other From Soft game. This is a mobile game, it shouldn't be that hard as its supposed to be a casual time killer.

That double exhausted from the double Mephistos carries over nodes 😭. None of these rewards are getting me closer to Mephisto/Odin.

Did the first few easy nodes then wrote it off and went back to Watcher of Realms, solved the problem for me.😊

I gave them the benefit of the doubt with all the posts saying the Rewards were crap but even the per Node rewards are shit compared to last time. Crappy event orbs no daimonds
My issue is the content really should be easy. The hard part is building toons to be at the level required for these events.

they always seem to recycle a bunch of nodes from Dark Dimensions or old Events and things too. I had this double Kang node in DD7 that took me 2 weeks to beat because they would just alternate ults at the beginning behind multiple taunts that even if I got to outrun them I still couldn't take out the taunts before they would just wipe my team. then I have to just keep losing on repeat just because some characters randomly spawned in at a very bad time. tedious is not a difficulty and when they do this every time and then later nerf it to the extent that it is not even a challenge to play. wish they would either seek outside help from players or something to try and figure out a way to change this same hamster wheel we have been on for years.

this is just trash. they need to make good challenging battles. a puzzle who do i debuff, who to turn speed on. do i ult or save it. instead they go with the most lazy, money grab trash by giving the a.i super speed. this mode is just to drain your cores. for trash rewards . already hate FROZEN DIMENSION

Not only do I need L3 Iso8 for Odin, but now a pocket dimension that gives significantly less rewards? I'm not buying it. The best time of the year, I guess, equals the worst game mode of the year. Merry Christmas from $copley. At this rate, give us battle world back and rework this pocket dimension 🗑. With all the reworks and new characters coming, no one wants to build absolute.

They can make challenging puzzles without rng. They can set a kill order, or maybe do moves in the right order to get through. Thats how puzzles work. They choose not to. If they bring mods. I am quiting.

Boomer, If you want to play a hard game go play elden ring or any other From Soft game. This is a mobile game, it shouldn't be that hard as its supposed to be a casual time killer.

Preloaded turn meter is the laziest game design. Terrible fake difficulty that’s just frustrating and not fun. It’s trash in SWGOH, MSF, and every other clone of these games. Lazy devs need to do better.

This is essentially a complex offer. Scopely wants you to spend on these new characters and teams and then spend on cores & energy to get through with enough time to do a second run on a 48 cooldown. They know what they are doing. They just want to frustrate players into spending. Imo players should just not play it in protest. This is complete garbage content
I prefer to just auto it and collect free rewards. Especially when it repeated 7 times. How about we do that instead?
I finished it #46 on leader boards did it with 4 yellow kahori and 3 yellow ms marvel classic it was zero fun and made me hate the game mode
