I am grateful for the degree but it did take me 1 year to think about doing it because of the cost and another 2.5 to get through it. On the advise of my family, I wanted to make sure that I could get the most out of it by taking select classes, participate in research, etc. so I could say I got my monies' worth and be a good fit for jobs.

I was homeless in 2005 with a two year old in college didn't know what to do but I managed to graduate finally in 2016 and I'm going back to study another degree this fall and it was very very hard and sometimes discouraging but I trusted in God and I have a great support Circle who push me when I didn't even believe in myself. Came here for motivation. Studying for the bar exam after completely 3 years of law school with a toddler. I had the help of my husband and mother in law and it was still HARD AS HELL. If she can do it as a single mother with 5 kids and still pass the bar, I can do it.
