I have to say, KISS would have died years before the reunion if not for Paul Stanley. In my eyes, he emerged after all is said and done as the true MVP of KISS. He kept it going, kept his focus, always gave it his all. Viva Starchild.
It’s pretty clear he was the best songwriter in kiss and from animalize to hot in the shade he was really carrying kiss not to say gene didn’t have some good songs on those albums
It was Pop Punk The Offspring Green Day and KISS, always liked Paul the best now days i love Ace the most but still dig Paul, Gene has never appealed to me, Paul is awesome even if he lost his voice.
When I was younger I always loved KISS, bu tliked Paul the least out of the originals as I thought he was kinda girly. Ace is & always will be my favourite. gene has lost a lot of his appeal & Peter...well let's just say I woke up & realized that both Erics are WAY better drummers. Paul has really grown on me in my later years. This album has some REALLY good songs on it. To those who always thought the driving force behind KISS was Gene listen to this album.
