*I just got my car stereo fixed and decided to take the long way home. Put this song on, roll down the windows, let the cold air blast my face as this warm buttery tune melts over me, it was one of the nicer moments I’ve had this year. Blasting Fleet Foxes in to the empty woods.*
Also when Robins voice comes in on the second verse, it always sounds like a Saxophone to me. His voice holds that range and when it’s meshed in the chorus, it definitely has a sax like quality to it.

this is the best version of this song. when i first heard it i was surprised i didnt even recognize it, even tho i had listened to shore before.. goes to show how, while the studio can be a great instrument, it can also hinder a song that it isnt meant for flashy production. i feel like this particular song is really meant for the bare bones instrumentation and sound found in this version.. solstice recording captures this song perfectly
2020 was a year for albums. Shore was one of the best albums to come out and honestly, we really needed this music 🎶 after everything we were going through
Shore and Phoebe Bridger's Punisher. Almost too relevant for the year they were released.
