I'm sorry about that (and this incredibly late reply oops) Since I lost the footage I was never able to edit the full thing together. I'm working on retrieving it still and perhaps someday uploading the latest part 2 of any video on RUclips history
John LBD You just bring a bank card that you can use in ATM's to get cash (yen ofc) My parents back in Norway will fill it up while I'm there. EF recommends 15.000-20.000 yen per week to cover all the necessary stuff 😊 Not all ATM's accepts your bank card but as far as I know, there are a lot of ATM's in Japan so you and I will eventually find one that accepts our cards
This video is soooo helpful! I'm looking into going this August and stay for 3-4 months. This kind of video is exactly what I need. Arigatou~ (Did I say that right?)
@@sofiab6917 Hey Sofia, I'm sorry I'm two full years late to the party, but curious as to if you ever brought your laptop on the journey? I found it very usefull to have mine with me during the trip!
Hello! I'm finding your videos really helpful (so thank you!!) and also had a few questions if you don't mind answering~~ Could I go to EF Tokyo as a highschooler, and spend the school season there? And if it is possible to basically go to highschool here, wouldn't they have to teach general subjects as well (like math for example), and how could that be possible if they only speak Japanese? (and I only speak english lol)- Also, how far do people at homestays usually live from the school center? (Like where are you and others USUALLY located and how long does it take to get to somewhere like the school center in Shibuya?) I'm really sorry asking so much, and thanks in advance for any response/ or even just reading through my mess I just wrote XD !
Hi, thanks for the comment. Being older and learning from my experience, I would advice against going with EF as they are way too expensive for what you get. If you are worried about your money, I can't recommend this company. Hope you find one that gives you a better experience :)
Weird to say, but I'm still working on getting the footage back from my old laptop. It's been in my garage for a while now but I hope to someday somehow still release part 2 haha
HI i also live in the netherlands and I wanted to ask you how you made it possible to go to Japan for 5 months. Was je nog op de middelbare school of was je al klaar daarmee en had je al een opleiding , had je een tussen jaar of een uitwisseling ? I’d really like to know since I may want to go in a few years :)
Hey! Sorry voor mijn late antwoord, ik gebruik mijn RUclips is vlagen. Ben je al met EF gegaan of wil je nog gaan? Ik help je graag via e-mail of instagram verder :)
Unfortunately Due to the death of my PC that had all the old footage on it, I have been unable to edit the full second part together :( I've been trying to get it fixed for over a year without much success yet, but since it holds many fond memories I will keep on trying!
Think we will never get the part two lol
Lol
Thank you this was helpful seeing I'm going to be traveling to Japan in July 2018 with ef
Anime Lover I'm glad you found it useful! If there are any question, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll try my best to help

While studying abroad, how did you manage to purchase items while over there?
Do you mean as in souvenirs? I purchased many things such as clothes, gifts for family and other related items!
Nani In But how do you get the money?
Nani In do you just work there to get money or does EF give you a weekly budget or something like that?

(I'm going to japan with EF and I don't know if a should take my laptop with me )

I think they have a separate campus for EF students.
Hey question, where do you meet Japanese students or people around your age?
Very helpfull thank you!
How do you apply for a high school program with EF? i genuinely don’t see the apply thing anywhere for a program on their website
I am working to go for 3 months in 2025 but I was a bit unsure about the cost like do you pay it all at once or can you pay it in increments?

Ik neem aan een tussenjaar (of meerdere) Ik zou het pas na je middelbare school examens doen.
