I would love to hear the process of leaving the old shop/warehouse, storing everything, looking and bidding on properties, then winning this one at auction. Congrats JR!
Dude for sure keep the CRT for your retro games -- people are paying good money for those big ones now that they're starting to become popular in that community
Knockdown stucco ceiling is awesome painted with a satin or semi-gloss, the flat spots shine and leaves a matte look in the divots, gives lots of texture. Congrats on the new house.
Congrats, I started watching when you built your last shop, I really miss the content from that shop and was sad when you sold it. Really look forward to this new shop content, now who can build the best shop Hoovie or JR 😎. I have 2 of those workmates in my garage, they still sell them and I just use it as a portable tool stand.
Suggestion from my own experience,, make room for a common closet for the vacuum, broom and supplies. We bought a decent sized home that had a coat closet, but not enough room for cleaning stuff. So annoying! Very cool place, can't wait to see what you do with it!!
Awesome to see you doing so well and diversifying (content and business) with the Mini Resort. Congrats on new shop. Still remember watching you get fired from the IT job. You are living them dream - telling the MAN to go pound sand and being successful on your own!
You won the lottery. This property will provide YEARS of content. BOTH in house rebuild vids, building rebuilds, and car stuff. REVENUE….. I’m VERY excited!!!!
What I love about JR is he can fix cars, reno houses, rehab commercial properties! He was wasting away at his old IT job he really seems happy in his new direction
That fuel pump is the high pressure pump for aircraft with fuel injected engines. It's valuable. those go for around $900 to $1300. Weldon is the most plentiful brand. I've got one just like it with the ports both facing forward. They put out about 22 psi. Which is all that's needed for mechanical aircraft fuel injection systems.
That tree was the best thing to ever get rid of. It's a Chinese Elm. We have them here in Utah and they are are a vile weed. They drop little seed pods that can and will grow on cement, rock anything that would kill other plants. Congrats on the new property!
Some interesting stuff certainly went on in there over the decades.. lol. Congrats -- it's going to be dope with the WatchJRGo renovation team on the job
I think this will be a really good setup for consolidating and making it eventually everything that you're going to need in one location. I also want to say that not knowing anything about the property not knowing anything other than watching your video........... I think you handle the subject matter of who previously owned the house very well and thank you for making a positive video. I do not know if you would even consider this or if it's even plausible but if you redid the workshop, the garage, the kitchen, and master bedroom with bathroom at the same time ......then it might be livable while you redo everything else? Great job and I'm very excited about the future!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Congratulations!!! Been watching since your last day on you IT job. You’re definitely been working hard and deserve this. Love the spray foam for the building (make sure it’s closed cell) Try to do a heat pump if you can, you’ll be glad if you ever decide to add some solar one day. Can’t wait to see the house and shop renovations.
That 19:56 used to be a 'back bar'. It had glass shelves to display the booze. The actual bar was removed, it probably had an 80s theme, think 'Miami Vice'.
You have serious vision. I looked through that place on sale day and had no idea where to start. I wish I'd shot auction footage, the guy had a killer Cadillac collection (Shameless plug, hit me up for '67 Eldorado parts) 😆
J.R. I remodeled a house that had been smoked in for 40 years. You need to scrub the walls with Zep foaming wall cleaner. Soak until the tar starts running down the walls, then wipe.
Finally! Good job. Cant wait for the content. Maybe find a local shop guy to come grab all that stuff you don't want. Basically its free but ya got to take all of it.
Congratulations!! I was actually on the grounds of the Playboy Manson, but I didn't meet Hef, but I met Hef 15 yrs later and have a picture to prove it.
This property has potential. If you plan on living there eventually, I'd suggest running a Multi-core cable between the shop & house for your security & computer networks, when you lay the new cement. I'd also suggest a shower/toilet for the shed too - gives decontamination option, until you get house renovated, and keeps it clean afterwards too. Good buy, JR. Better option than that "farm".
I’m excited again :). To be honest I really have not been watching the other videos from the resort.. I love your car content and I’m excited to see it coming back!! 😊
Wow! You have a lot of work ahead of you! How about a subscriber work event? You get a ton of us to come and help you clear out the house. Demo in no time. Congratulations, by the way!
You ABSOLUTELY need to start a new channel called “WatchJRReno”! Going over the house renovations that you have going on. This would be anything residential/flip/home related. And your main could be anything commercial /warehouse oriented. Take advantage of this platform and monetize on all fronts brotha! Been watching you since 2019 and just saw this video pop up randomly after not having you in my feed for a long time. Almost half a mil subscribers! LETS GO! Get that bag!
Renovations are a ton of work, but satisfying to see the transformation. If you're not living there I'd recommend gutting and recarpeting first. I'm doing the carpets a couple years after we got our house and it's a much bigger pain.
Add washer and dryer to master bath when you expand it. So nice to wash your clothes and bedding and put it away in the same room. But still put washer and dryer downstairs for rest of house use.
I would make the outside of your new old shop a 50’s garage shop with some old gas pumps in front of the windows and put old style gas signs extra but yes low out the rest of the house and garage in the house !!😎👍🏻🇺🇸🦅
Congrats, looks like a great spot! Obviously everything nasty and needs to go in house, but lots of good space there. The shop is a much more appropriate size for you too. Excited to see it all come together! Maybe you and Hoovie can get some package deals on building materials, lifts, or whatever else as you reno
Scott had me rolling when he said the weight machine was his lol, he's already building muscle in his arm's. You gotta give that thing to him JR, cuz he sure got fired up when he saw that, you can just do a trade for child labor.
Congrats bro!! It’s been about a year we’ve been waiting lol! Looks good, can’t wait to see what y’all do with the house. So will you be selling your current one and fully move here? Plus that master bath with the window is crazy haha. 😂
I thought that place looked familiar! I knew the guy that passed that had the property previously. If you are pulling the insulation from the shop I might be interested! Congratulations on the new pad!
We need some Tech Throwback videos with all the stuff found in the house
Oh yeah
Please
Agree!!
YES
Excellent Idea!
It is going to be nice to see you back in a proper shop with lifts, tools and proper HVAC. Shop + house should make for some interesting content.
I would love to hear the process of leaving the old shop/warehouse, storing everything, looking and bidding on properties, then winning this one at auction.
Congrats JR!
Good subject for a late evening impromptu live stream.
I laughed way harder than I should have at the kid falling on his face trying to use the ab roller and John saying “alllllllmost had it”
Not going to lie...came here for this comment
After the abandoned mini resort, I’m stoked for this next rennovation series
Dude for sure keep the CRT for your retro games -- people are paying good money for those big ones now that they're starting to become popular in that community
Love seeing Eric warming up around the camera. You can tell he’s a great guy just been waiting for him to open up on camera.
Knockdown stucco ceiling is awesome painted with a satin or semi-gloss, the flat spots shine and leaves a matte look in the divots, gives lots of texture. Congrats on the new house.
WatchJR... Renovate the entire Midwest? I'm here for it.
That's premium content there!
💯
Love this place, JohnRoss. I can't wait to see how you transform the shop and the house. That Technics organ is Tech Throwback gold!
Congrats, I started watching when you built your last shop, I really miss the content from that shop and was sad when you sold it. Really look forward to this new shop content, now who can build the best shop Hoovie or JR 😎. Look at that Smile!!!! Congratulations bud!!!!!!!!!! Love it!!!
Suggestion from my own experience,, make room for a common closet for the vacuum, broom and supplies. We bought a decent sized home that had a coat closet, but not enough room for cleaning stuff. So annoying! Very cool place, can't wait to see what you do with it!!
Congrats JR. The place has a lot of potential.
Very nice JR. You've worked hard for it. Congrats .
heck yes..i feel another BIGGER renovation series coming...i cant wait, this will be awesome !!.
This is the renovation we have all been waiting for. Congratulations.
Congratulations on the new house and shop. You have a couple of years worth of New content getting it the way you want it
Congratulations on the house
Awesome to see you doing so well and diversifying (content and business) with the Mini Resort. Congrats on new shop. Still remember watching you get fired from the IT job. You are living them dream - telling the MAN to go pound sand and being successful on your own!
You won the lottery. This property will provide YEARS of content. BOTH in house rebuild vids, building rebuilds, and car stuff. REVENUE….. I’m VERY excited!!!!
So psyched just to hear you have a new shop!! It will be nice to see what you do renovating this place!!
Congratulations!! This looks like a good starting point. It will be fun watching you convert this into a livable home and great workshop.
Awesome Garage + Awesome Shop = Endless Possibilities!
Great to see a new opportunity for your own shop and a yard to fill with projects.
What I love about JR is he can fix cars, reno houses, rehab commercial properties! He was wasting away at his old IT job he really seems happy in his new direction
Congratulations on the new Shop Property. Looks perfect for your vision. And no Railway making noise.
Love the new house. Love the new shop. Love how all you car guys are connected on RUclips. Keep up the great work.
Congratulations! That's huge! Super happy for you. Looks like a lot of work, but new house, new shop and lots of new content!
JR you never cease to amaze us with fabulous new projects. Thank you.
Congratulations on the new property John Ross! This is going to be good.

I honestly have no idea how this guy doesn't have 1M subs yet. Congrats dude! You're killing it
Congrats on the house! And that old JCPenney TV would be great for the tech throwback channel!
garage fridge Makeover show!!!! Kegerator!!! Cool color scheme!!!! MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Scott's Gym & Electric Workout Jams mixtape... so many possibilites 😏
The shop is a great size and look forward to seeing the rehabilitation and renovations.
That tree was the best thing to ever get rid of. It's a Chinese Elm. We have them here in Utah and they are are a vile weed. They drop little seed pods that can and will grow on cement, rock anything that would kill other plants. Congrats on the new property!
It been a long time coming. I'm subscribed ever since you quit your day job and started doing youtube full time. Great to have seen you grow.
Congratulations! Can't wait to see what you do with this big project.
Some interesting stuff certainly went on in there over the decades.. lol. Congrats -- it's going to be dope with the WatchJRGo renovation team on the job

Great job and I'm very excited about the future!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Congratulations on your new place. Can’t wait to see the builds I know they will be epic! Then back to some car builds!
I have that old school black and decker workmate bench, it was my grandpa's, it's probably the best most useful and reliable piece of equipment I own.
Congratulations!!! Been watching since your last day on you IT job. You’re definitely been working hard and deserve this. Love the spray foam for the building (make sure it’s closed cell) Try to do a heat pump if you can, you’ll be glad if you ever decide to add some solar one day. That’s a cool old upright grand piano! Keep it! And that synth is wild!!
1:16 Now I see where you got the inspiration for the slim and tall front windows.
Sweet new place. That will make for some awesome content and glad your commute will be much more manageable.
That 19:56 used to be a 'back bar'. It had glass shelves to display the booze. The actual bar was removed, it probably had an 80s theme, think 'Miami Vice'.
Awesome really enjoyed the resort videos, nice to have a mix of cars and house/shop renos.
You have 2 years of content here. Love the new place. Diamond in the rough! I cant wait to see the transformation!
You have serious vision. I looked through that place on sale day and had no idea where to start.
I wish I'd shot auction footage, the guy had a killer Cadillac collection
(Shameless plug, hit me up for '67 Eldorado parts) 😆
Super exciting! Congratulations on the new building. Perfect setup…rental property that pays for itself while you store cars!
J.R. I remodeled a house that had been smoked in for 40 years. You need to scrub the walls with Zep foaming wall cleaner. Soak until the tar starts running down the walls, then wipe.
This is sweet! Can’t wait to see what this place turns into!
Congrats on the new shop!! This is going to be an amazing build!
Congratulations!!
Good luck with it!
That paste wax in the garage! Worth it!
i want those old flourescent lights that are in your garage. love vintage lights like that.
Finally! Good job. Cant wait for the content. Maybe find a local shop guy to come grab all that stuff you don't want. Basically its free but ya got to take all of it.

Great house. I’m glad you have a shop again.
Cool place John, can’t wait to see it after all your renovations.
Nice place when you get done with it. Congratulations.
Sweet house and shop man. It's going to be a blast following your progress.
Congrats JR, i love watching you and Puddins Fab shop get new shops to continue your success
This property has potential. I'd also suggest a shower/toilet for the shed too - gives decontamination option, until you get house renovated, and keeps it clean afterwards too. Good buy, JR. Better option than that "farm".
Congrats JR! Eric’s intro just made my day. Way to set the tone!
I’m excited again :). To be honest I really have not been watching the other videos from the resort.. I love your car content and I’m excited to see it coming back!! 😊
Those headlights are for the first gen Lexus SC 300/400.
Congratulations John Ross . Score ! Massive potential buddy
Love the longer videos keep them coming just like that the longer the better!
Wow! You have a lot of work ahead of you! How about a subscriber work event? You get a ton of us to come and help you clear out the house. Demo in no time. Congratulations, by the way!
Pretty sure one shouldn't do that in USA. Someone will hurt himself during the process and sue him.
You ABSOLUTELY need to start a new channel called “WatchJRReno”! Going over the house renovations that you have going on. This would be anything residential/flip/home related. And your main could be anything commercial /warehouse oriented.

Very pleased for you, would love that amount of space to play with!
So happy you finally pull the trigger
Best of luck as usual
Eric i believe its his name its a real asset
Another great series of Watch Eric Work and Jr talk.......!!!!!
In 1981, I used to deliver legal briefs to the LA house of Hef. I’ve a photo of him, my cousin & me from a weird convention.
He was different.
Very cool!! Look forward to see how this place gets whipped into shape!! And to see if Eric ever gets paid.... LOL
This is what WatchJR GO needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JR and Hoovie with new places.
Congrats John looking forward to watch more of this content.
Toyota Soarer/Lexus LC300 headlights in the garage btw
I would make the outside of your new old shop a 50’s garage shop with some old gas pumps in front of the windows and put old style gas signs extra but yes low out the rest of the house and garage in the house !!😎👍🏻🇺🇸🦅
That black and decker workbench is real. I grew up with that in my dads garage too.
Looks good! Best of luck with the new property!
Congrats, looks like a great spot! Obviously everything nasty and needs to go in house, but lots of good space there. The shop is a much more appropriate size for you too. Excited to see it all come together! Maybe you and Hoovie can get some package deals on building materials, lifts, or whatever else as you reno
Well Done JR very exciting building, good thing is you done this before.
Congratulations! Place looks awesome.
Damn! I'm excited. I'm ready to watch it all!!

Dude I had a massive abandoned mini resort hangover. Glad I didn't have to wait to long
I thought that place looked familiar! I knew the guy that passed that had the property previously. If you are pulling the insulation from the shop I might be interested! Congratulations on the new pad!
