Windbreaker is proof that a very basic, straightforward storyline can be amazing, when the characters are well written and developed through said story!

I like the cute details like how Sakura uses his spoon to eat. The way he holds it like a kid that never had someone teaching him how to use it correctly. So sad and cute at the same time

15:07 kotoha mentioned that her and umemiya were from the same home group, implying that they were both orphans, she says it so quietly bc she seems embarrassed(?) about that fact, but sakura only said "is that it?", he did not make a big deal out of them being orphans, which is why kotoha smiled afterwards.
at least thats what i understood from that scene instead from what most reactors thought about it that sakura is interested in kotoha
yeah. sad but true. people who shunned orphans are actually exist irl, either they're considered people who brings bad luck, or because the parents just assumed they lack of manners because they have no parents to teach them to. f-up at it's finest
that's why i got confused whenever i saw people thought sakura got interested to kotoha. like, sakura's reaction doesn't seem excited that he know he has chance, he just seems "whatever". he doesn't even know friendship, can he really know romance at this moment? but i guess this is more cultural things so maybe that's why some people doesn't understand

also people tend to make a fuss about being an orphan as well from what I've heard from my friends that came from the same background, like its either they show too much pity or they ask too much question
sakura being chill about it must have been a rare encounter for kotoha, as shown from her quiet-awkward pause after saying theyre from a group home, as if shes expecting a certain reaction like shes used to. her thankful smile at the end when she realized sakura did not simply make a fuss is so cute.
i really like to see a wholesome interaction between two people of opposite sex without it being inherently romantic. while i would not be against them being a thing in the future, i really prefer them as they are rn as good friends. this would also show a good representation of a healthy and supportive male-female friendship.

tbh windbreaker is full of unspoken common culture knowledge (that i can list, but choose not to because it might cause fire lol) so it can't be helped if people doesn't recognize it
i also like platonic relationship sakura and kotoha have right now, even though i don't hate it if they'll become canon either. in one reaction video someone said sakura learn communicate from all kotoha's advice, and i agree how kotoha is more like a mentor and big sister to sakura now. sad she's not 18 at least to match her personality🥲 but it's okay i don't hate it haha

Flexie don't worry for the JJK jocks, litterally everyone make them lol. Especially over Umemiya and Gojo. Both are my favorites characters from JJK and WB. This anime is fire. And i love how honest you are. 🔥

I actually like your reaction and your personal thoughts on every ep, especially your understanding of our mc cat Sakura! he IS gonna blush even more, and still be a cute tsundere in later episodes. it's supposed to be understandable because he was deprived of affection and human connection during his childhood
i get annoyed when some commenters say that they got tired of tsundere-blush-sakura for making it his whole personality!? 😢

The MC is what got me hooked. He is more like the angry gremlin side character who is with the pure cinnamon roll mc in most animes.
He is badass but he is socially akward.

The voice actor that amazed me the most in this show for me was Choji's, the leader of Shishitouren
I can still regonized the VA of the other boys, but Choji I had no idea it was Denji's voice actor. Man, this show is full of talented voice actors fr. Especially Yuuma(Sakura), Umehara(Togame), Nobbu(Suo) my beloved😭 Thanks god they're together again
When I heard the voices of like, almost 10 of my favorite VAs in this show I couldn't help but extremely happy ( Y ˘ Y ) This show deserve them
