Thanks for this review. Does the rapid locking system lock only at maximum and minimum extensions, or can you lock it at arbitrary lengths?

Thanks for watching! So you can lock it to whatever height you desire by twisting the locking grip.

On the feet do you always need to use the blue knob to lock it in place?

Yeah, otherwise it wouldn't stand straight on its own. It locks the ball head on the feet.

May I ask how tall you are using the monopod that you selected?

Depends on the project I'm shooting. But most of the time, I didn't have to extend it all the way up when I'm using it.

How stable is this in moderate wind? Can i let alone for a while without tripping and breaking all my camera gear?

I wouldn't leave it unattended even though it is pretty stable. You never know if someone or something would bump into it causing it to fall. But it is pretty stable and can stand on its own even with a heavier camera set up, and can stand against moderate wind. But yeah, I'm not comfortable leaving it standing tall on its own, I normally bring it down to its lowest level whenever I need to briefly walk away.

@@BestCutFilmsVancouver but for a five or six second exposure would it wobble? (assuming no wind)

      @@andrewlorenzlong no it doesn’t.
