    hey man would be great if you did a fighters workout programme, sort of like a Baki IRL programme that involves the strength stuff but also the skills training and cardio scheduled in.
    Thanks!

    I had this exact issue happen to me over and over again.
    My cardiovascular system was ready to be running, (mostly from cycling), but my body just wasn't at all. Not to mention being overweight.
    I couldn't understand how slow I had to go, it was excruciatingly slow to "run" for my body to start getting stronger to catch up and ultimately be able to run.
    Multiple weeks where I would have to stop due to shin splints or other minor issues, putting me backwards. After that happening 3x I had to have my watch beep at me any time I started accidentally running too quickly.

    Also you should not run on concrete or hard surfaces because that’s what damages the cartilage on your knees. It’s better to run on grass

    Ben I'm so caught up in deciding what physique programme to follow , because in every character's physique I find something else that I want missing, so I was thinking if you could make a video on that tik tok v taper physique.

    • @BenWinney
      @BenWinney  5 месяцев назад +1

      Just stick to one for like 6 months. You will get results. Then you can re-evaluate and pick another if you feel some areas are lagging. I'd say the Gojo program is pretty well balanced. My best programs are of course on my shopify. I'll make a video soon about just a simple balanced physique program

      Yea biking works great for cardio. Spend most of your time in zone 2 with some HIIT the remainder of the sessions e.g. 3-4 zone 2 sessions per week and 1-2 HIIT sessions

    6. many runnners are Heel strike runners and not forefootrunners. forfootrunning is better for the joints and you come better in a flowstate. Buy shoes that fits good and made for forefootrunnig.

    Great video, I was planning on running in the near future, especailly during summer so that my fitness doesn't drop. At 8:30, you mentioned your 'homemade energy drink' with the ingredients, and it seems really good (especially considering the benefits you've mentioned before for honey and electrolytes). I was wondering if you'd be able to tell the recipe that you use (i.e. how many grams of each ingredient you use). Thanks for the great info Ben

    Do you have any recommendations for anti pronation shoes man?

    • @BenWinney
      @BenWinney  3 месяца назад +1

      If you mean shoes to deal with overpronation, some good examples are Brooks Adrenaline GTS and Saucony Guide. Those are two that I've used personally to help with my overpronation and I can recommend them, especially the Brooks Adrenaline GTS.
      Use whatever the most recent model is, currently I think that's the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 and Saucony Guide 17.

    • @BenWinney
      @BenWinney  5 месяцев назад +1

      It would be a lot of cholesterol which would mean a lot of testosterone gets produced. That number of eggs is unrealistic for most people though. I wouldn't recommend it but it's something you can experiment with for a few days or weeks and see what the effects are

    • @NoRockinMansLand

      I've heard good things about them. Never tried them myself. You should get used to walking in them before running first though, and start very slow and easy. I've also heard it's better to run on soft ground like grass rather than concrete

    • @BenWinney
      @BenWinney  4 месяца назад

      No that should be fine as long as you don't go all out each session. You can start very easy and gradually push it harder to see how much you can recover from. It's also generally recommended to take an easy week every 4 weeks
