More unanswered questions in this case than answers. there was no motive divulged and the man seen discarding the murder weapons was never charged ??? Bottom line is we need a government that will reform the Justice system to reassure society at large.
It was just their theory that it was the murder weapon that the suspect handed over to the other man in the newspaper but there was no actual proof that it was the gun, it could’ve been anything even drugs
The main question was answered through incredible detective work: we know who committed this horrible crime. Understanding a motive is satisfying but it isn't necessary for holding the perpetrators accountable. There could be multiple reasons why the man who provided/received the gun wasn't charged. The legal system isn't perfect but in this case got the job done for the family.
2 dumb kids looking for revenge and got it all wrong on a million levels. Innocent man taken away, who would have been a positive point in the world. This world has degraded beyond repair.
They only have a theory without evidence, you need proof in Canada to charge someone, here they never recovered a firearm nor did anyone testify against him
I remember when u told me u would be moving to china for studies, I never thought the next time I'd see your face would be on a crime series about your senseless murder. Love you kosh Allah have mercy on your soul.
This show is so awesome and produced/put together at such a high level. It's better than any American crime show. It's honestly a travesty that we only get 1 of these every 3 weeks. Produce and put out more episodes.
I recall this case in the news. After reading March 19, 2024 Star article, Koshin Yusuf seemed like a good person who did a lot for his family. So sad how those heartless M F took his life. They will get there’s.
It sucks to see someone so young die for no reason. He had plans and goals thay he was looking forwardto. I’ve gone to school with people who died from a gunshot for being in a gang (thank god I wasn't mixed up in that in high school) and died from a gunshot for no reason while living in tough neighborhoods they could only afford. I hope his soul rest in peace, and im glad justice was served. But we also need buildings to have more cameras and good quality cameras.
So sad and will be curious about the older man who seemed to be involved, did he hire the hit ? I guess not enough evidence to support a conviction, Rip and prayers for his family and friends
He rented them the guns…quite common in that life…surprised he got it back tho usually a drug addict keeps them in between the owner of the firearm and the users so to speak
I confess to being a true crime afficionado...in all forms, books, television, radio, documentaries, RUclips..and worked in television news for many years..doesn't make me an expert, but I keep thinking that perhaps this may have been due to a traffic incident, which these two perceived was rude, slighted their egos, cut them off, almost hit them .. believe it or not, the number of situations resulting in death due to someone's ego, road rage etc is astounding..something happened close to where the victim left his friends place, and think they simply followed him..but this is true definition of the term "overkill".. a "thrill kill" premeditated without a doubt, they were looking to cause damage to whomever they felt fit the bill and their chance of getting caught would be impossible to prove..time of shooting, cover of darkness, rental car, phone listed in fake name, fake address..slipped up with phone recordings from bank & rental car company..but exemplary work on all levels of expertise needed to solve this..I'm sure you're disappointment lies mostly with never learning the reason why, but stand tall..and continue doing such great work..and your kindness to the family of the victim showed exactly just one of the qualities necessary and why you chose the profession you did 🩷 Thank You for your service 🫡 and for losing thousands of hours with your loved ones that you will never get back..Appreciate all you do 🩷Barbie in Vancouver
I don't know why people shoot people anymore there's cameras everywhere. I live on Lansdowne and Bloor and if I had a dollar for every time a cop knocked on my door for surveillance footage I could buy myself a double quarter pounder value meal. Heck one of the murders is even on this program...season 3 episode 26.
Incredible detective work!!! Sad to not know what the motive was. Those 2 dogs will probably never reveal it but at least they are behind bars where they belong. May God bring some measure of comfort to his family and loved ones while his murderers await God's justice 🙏🏻💗🙏🏻💗🙏🏻
I dont know how true but i saw it on another channel covering the criminals' history that the victim grew up with the criminals in Regent Park in Toronto, and there was a dispute over a girl which caused the shooting.
May Allah open the gates of Jannah for him. Ameen. It's nice to see at once that the Canadian police have done the job for the Somalian community. I know it's hard to trust the police sometimes, and great work to those detectives. Still, the case is unclear as to why they did this, and hopefully, they will do the right thing one day and say why.
It's very sad what happened to this guy but I can't see how the second suspect was found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The video surveillance isn't clear enough and he looks shorter too. With no other evidence, dna , eye witness, motive, etc I can't see this conviction standing an appeal .... why didn't the defence ask for a jury trial?
Why was the person murdered? I still don't know. I felt asleep (lunch hour relief) and returned to some point to rewatch it and I still can't fathom why these 3 people committed this murder. I have the feeling that it could be gang related. I would say the Canadians need to thank their CCTV quality. It's better than watching some youtube videos.
Inallilah wa ina ilahyhi raja cuun 😢😢very sad the victim never suspected something so tragic would be happening to him my Allah put his family heart at peace for them
I knew I knew that building I grew up there. I left in 92. Wow, nothing changed much other than the public school next door seems to be all .towhouses now. A trip down memory lane
No, they didn't even know each other. He was doing his masters and working in cyber security. Crazy to think anyone can be killed for no reason whatsoever.
The attitude of the young guys I've known is go to the area you don't like and get the first guy who looks like he might know the people you have beef with from there
That’s not how it works. Motive isn’t needed for conviction. It’s good to have for understanding but it isn’t needed when there is enough substantive evidence to secure conviction
When crime beat uploads a new episode its a great day
Wish they could upload frequently!!
AMES?!
Finally an apartment building with some good camera's.
Yes, should be mandatory in all buildings. Owners make enough money by sky high rents they demand from their tenants.
Toronto Housing cameras are put there by the City for exactly this reason.

And one was on probation 😢
Absolutely, not only Canada is criminal and offender friendly, here in Germany it`s the same mess.
I was waiting to know the notice behind this monstrous act, but nobody seemed to care about that! 😮😢

Great work detectives. Thank you for your service.
Hi there. Nobody cares
@ViSi-q9t How dear you disrespect the family of the cictim. You really lack humanity. Smh.
This is probably the most incredible investigative work that I have seen. And I watch a lottttttt of these 😆
Sadly this must have been mistaken identity 😢 rip may Allah open the gates of Jannah for you

Ugh it's just disgusting how people just take a life like it's nothing just disgusting.
That man holding the guns must be in jail too. His guns are used in commission of a crime.
Hajjar should have been charged with something. Providing the murder weapon at least.

So demanding 😅, and I agree. It's not overplayed with dramatic music and it's thorough

Great work to the investigators! Outstanding.
RIP Koshin senseless violence, innocent man
Mr Hajjar provided the murder weapon to the suspects but didnt get charged at all? LOL What a joke of a justice system
Exactly i'm so confused, caught on camera and didnt get charged what?!
Yay you're back ❤
I had family living in that building. Very sad for that young man, did not deserve that at all. I trust God…also fear for my brothers and sisters.
Wow, incredible detective work.
I knew Koshin when we were kids. May Allah make it easy for him.
Do the Nnamdi Ogba story, now that would be a dope documentary piece
Excellent police work! So sad for the victim and family
Now, had to google what was their motive of killing him? Kudos to the Police involved. Great job on this one!
Just started watching and I'm waiting for the lenient Canadian sentence these two monsters will get

Was there a motive for this murder? Either way may Allah have mercy on Koshin!
So sad and will be curious about the older man who seemed to be involved, did he hire the hit ? I guess not enough evidence to support a conviction, Rip and prayers for his family and friends
I think the suspects borrowed the gun from him.
Either a addicted they had stash stuff for them or he was supplying them weapons
He rented them the guns…quite common in that life…surprised he got it back tho usually a drug addict keeps them in between the owner of the firearm and the users so to speak
Of course, he'd get them back. Then he could get tapped for the murder because he had the weapon.
Dark sedan.. clearly a nissan altima
I said Sentra, certainly a Nissan
Hyundai Elantra
So the police did not copy the video surveillance, why? Phone records are great but video is the cherry on top!

After all the hardwork done by the detectives, the guilty only gets 25 years? That's not fair
