I am nuts about Lee Dong Wook. But this character is someone you don't want to meet. Ever. Not even in broad daylight. Hats off to his amazing acting. Also Im Siwan. I saw him first in Run On. Now I am watching this. Blown away by the versatility of both these actors.

The main gist of the show is that people you interact with in your daily life shapes who you are, so yeah i think it was mostly Mrs Um being his mother figure that made him turn out like this.
