@@joyagain4843 In the twenty-first century - as in most of the last two millennia - the majority of professed Christians are expecting a political messiah. I think of the present-day advent movement as promoting the message that Jesus can never be that kind of king. People who understand that the kingdom of glory is “not of this world” are still in danger of being deceived by a false messiah but understanding the nature of the kingdom and the nature of the king vastly reduces that danger. In the nineteenth century, the vast majority of U.S. citizens subscribed to - or were at least acquainted with - the doctrines of justification by grace alone through faith alone, the primacy of scripture and the priesthood of all believers. It is understandable that nineteenth century adventists didn’t think it was particularly important to emphasize doctrines with which their neighbors were already acquainted. Between 1844 and 1888 (more or less) adventists emphasized other doctrines. The problem was that their failure to adequately emphasize more basic Bible doctrines resulted in a generation of adventists who were more focused on commandment keeping than on the doctrines mentioned above. If you will read (or re-read) Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing (1896), Desire of Ages (1898) and Christ’s Object Lessons (1900), you may notice more of an emphasis on the love of God and basic Bible doctrines than had been evident in most of the earlier adventist literature. From 1982 to 2007, my wife and I lived in Utah where the percentage of protestants was very low (about 13%?) and where an LdS (Mormon) teacher summarized his instruction as that the LdS religion is “all about what you DO”. From 2007 to 2017 we lived in Michigan where a Luteran layman told me he knew there were things he had to do if he didn’t want to go to hell. (I contacted a Lutheran pastor to obtain a copy of Luther’s Small Catechism to show to my Lutheran acquaintance as evidence that Martin Luther didn’t teach that there are things people must do to avoid going to hell.) We now live in Maine where the number of people who are nominally protestant comprise about 38% of the population and the majority of those people know so little about the protestant reformation they don’t have a working definition of the word “protestant”. Are there things Christians “should do”? Absolutely! Unfortunately, there are adventists in Maine who are so focused on what Christians should do that basic gospel principles are given only lip service or are ignored entirely. Where the majority of adventists once lived in the at-least-nominally-protestant United States, the majority of SdA membership is now in countries that were never predominantly protestant. In those countries, do you think the majority of adventists are teaching basic Bible principles? Or is the adventist “message” perceived as being all about what you DO?
Don't forget that God uses Unbelivers to fulfill His will as well as believers. We may very well be closer to Jesus Christ arrival then we think... Be prepared and ready because it will be as a normal, regular day when He comes back.

Catholics have always met everyday of the week for Mass (the daily Mass), *that includes Saturdays* . This is something that Christianity has done since the beginning. There are 1.36 billion Catholics worldwide. If only 5% of them met for Mass on Saturdays, that would be 68 million attending church every single Saturday, that is more than triple the amount of the Seventh-day Adventists around the ENTIRE WORLD! (There are 22 million SDAs worldwide). And yet SDAs believe that Catholics are going to force everyone to go to church on Sundays alone, and somehow *forbid meeting on Saturdays* . Again meeting daily, including Saturdays, is something that the Catholics have always done from the beginning. They are not going to go against their tradition and start to persecute those who attend church on Saturdays. After all, Catholics are all about tradition and they are not going to abandon it. Further, the *Catholics themselves have been fiercely opposed and against the death penalty* since Vatican II. The Catholics have been instrumental in helping to remove the death penalty in most of Europe and in large swaths of Central and South America where Roman Catholicism has been predominant. So the notion of Catholics somehow desiring to enforce a universal Sunday law regarding who can buy and sell, and where people must "worship God" on Sundays with threat of the death penalty for noncompliance is simply not in Catholic philosophy and thought. This concept is a figment in the imagination of the Seventh-day Adventists who have a giant persecution complex. The whole "Sunday law" notion is completely absurd and utterly childish. Most importantly it is NOT found in the Bible. There is nothing about *"the first day of the week"* being forced upon anyone at anytime, let alone as part of a "final test" for all humanity. A couple of questions for my fellow SDAs: 1. Where in Scripture are the words "National Sunday Law"? 2. Prophecy runs in cycles. At what point was keeping the 4th commandment the final test for Israel? 3. Where in Scripture is the Sabbath sealed on your forehead or on your hand? He who observes the day (Sabbath) observes it to the Lord, and he who does not observe the day, he receives the mark of the beast. Is that how Romans 14:6 reads?
A word doesn't need to be in the Bible for the teaching to be true. The word trinity is not in the Bible. But the Bible teaches the truth. So even though the words national Sunday law is not in the Bible, that teaching is found when one studies the book of revelation chapter 13. I remember a man called Noah who they said was delusional as well, yet he was wise enough to get on the boat unlike the rest of the population of that time. And yes , I am well aware of who he was , but unlike him I can back everything I believe with scripture. Revelation18:23 , Jeremiah 51: 44-53 and Daniel 11:45-12:1. All three reference January to March of 2022 as being the start of the time of trouble. I didn’t randomly select a date . The 2 years of rumors /mandates seen in Jeremiah 51: 46 . started in March 2 years ago . Revelation 18:23 says that the candle will go out ( probationary time ends) when the Government leaders/kings of the earth peddle their pharmaceuticals on their citizens as a deception. Daniel 11:45 -12:1 says that when a man builds his Apaden/ embassy in Jerusalem he shall come to his end and no one will help him and in that season/ year Michael will stand up and there will be a time ,another year of trouble such as never was. It’s not complicated. That man left office January 20, 2021, so the first time (year or season) ended today . This means the time of trouble will start presently. Did God not say that he would do nothing without revealing it first to the people from his prophets. Amos 3:7.
@Carlos Martins those dates are not random , they are actually when these prophecies are fulfilling ,between January and March, not an exact date , but a season to prepare spiritually for the time of trouble such as Never was. When God tells us something so important that it is represented by 3 angels flying in the heaven and shouting it to earth’s inhabitants, we should sit up and take notice. He gave us three separate, but very pointed texts : Daniel 11:45 -12:1 , Jeremiah 51: 44-53 and Revelation 18 : 3-23 so we would know how close his return was. Not the date of His return, but the season of the end / time of trouble’s approach. Which Bible verse is it that you have a problem understanding or believing. And have you even considered that, If what God has told me to share is true, that you , not I am working against the Holy Spirit. And by the way , SDA ‘s don’t necessarily have a good name, most other Christian Denominations consider them a cult. I would rather be known under only one name , that of my savior and Lord Jesus. BUSTING THE SDA MYTH OF AN "INVISIBLE" MARK OF THE BEAST Revelation was written in Greek. The literally meaning of CHARAGMA is a trade-mark or identifying mark. The noun χαραγμα (charagma), which describes an engraving of any kind (any marking, brand, imprint or impression), or an item engraved (like a tablet or a piece of pottery, but also an idol or icon; see the noun εικον, eikon). People probably began to mark things to declare their ownership of them (which is probably how writing began) but marks and symbols quickly evolved to declare the essential character of clans and troops, and the allegiance of the wearer of the mark to that troop. Modern trademarks perfectly combine these two elements, and that is probably the best way to understand this word.
_The teachings of Jesus and the Apostles _*_never describe the Sabbath as a "final test" of any kind_*_ . Jesus is very explicit as to what the "final test" is. In fact, in one of His greatest sermons to His disciples he explains precisely what the "final test" will be. Here is Christ's final test as described in the SDA-authored Clear Word Bible_ : Matt 25:32-26 Everyone on earth will be gathered before Him, and He will separate whose who are genuinely His from those who are not, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats during shearing time. He will call the sheep to His right and the goats to His left. Then He will say to those on His right, 'You are God's children because you are so much like Him. Come! It's time for you to receive you inheritance. You have cared about others, which shows that you care about me. When others were thirsty, you gave them water. When they were sick, you visited and comforted them, and when they were in jail, you didn't forget them.' _Did Jesus say, "You are God's children because you went to church on Saturday and judged those who went to church on Sunday?" Mark Finley, whose picture is displayed and whose voice you hear on this video, is a Seventh-day Adventist minister. My dad didn’t hear about Seventh-day Adventists until the 1920s. A little more than a year thereafter, he became a voting member of that organization. On my mother’s side of the family, there were Seventh-day Adventists beginning in the late nineteenth century. I became a voting member of that organization in 1959 and there is something about Seventh-day Adventists I want you - and anyone else who reads this - to know. My mother’s religion was (her words) “very different” from that of her mother. My grandmother’s religion (and that of my paternal grandmother as well) could be described as institutional. I think of my grandmothers as having been followers of the officers of the Seventh-day Adventist organization. I never thought of my parents that way. I thought of their religion as personal - not institutional. Their denominational affiliation was Seventh-day Adventist - and they were active members of that organization until they died in the 1980s - but their religion was biblical Christianity. Those two things are related but they are not the same thing. In 1888, a book was published by Seventh-day Adventists in which the author wrote some things that many Seventh-day Adventists have oversimplified to mean that there will someday be a “national Sunday law” requiring U.S. citizens to honor Sunday as a Christian holy day. Do I think that could happen? Yes. But whereas some Seventh-day Adventists think of a national Sunday law as an essential part of their eschatology, I’m not at all sure that the future events envisioned by some Seventh-day Adventists are the only - or the best - way to interpret Bible prophecy. I think, for example, that the “mark of the beast” mentioned in Revelation 13 is ANY use of coercion with regard to religious beliefs, religious practices or religious prohibitions - regardless of whether or not such coercion is brought to bear with regard to a weekly holy day. A decade or so ago, Mark Finley was encouraging institutional religion. He may have changed his tune since then. I hope so. On the other hand, the nineteenth century advent movement existed - and grew for more than a decade - without any formal Seventh-day Adventist organization, without any Seventh-day Adventist hierarchy and without any Seventh-day Adventist creed. I think of the focus of the pioneers of the advent movement as encouraging personal religion, personal Bible study, elc. and as encouraging people to consider the evidence that the millennial kingdom of Jesus will NOT be the kind of political kingdom many professed Christians anticipate. I do not subscribe to the doctrine (widely taught by conservatives Christians in the twenty-first century) that God has one plan of salvation for the physical descendents of Israel (Jacob) and another plan for non-Hebrews. Other principles of Bible interpretation I encourage Christians to consider are: 1: Much of Bible prophecy is conditional. (The prophecy of Jonah is the best-known example.) 2: The gospel was preached to Abraham. (Galatians 3:8) If Christians are people who have faith in the Messiah, Abraham and other Hebrew patriarchs and prophets of antiquity were Christians by that definition. 3. Some of the restoration prophecies were fulfilled after the Babylonian captivity. 4. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29 (See Romans 4 and the rest of Galatians 3.) 5: The 70-weeks prophecy of Daniel 9 has already been fulfilled. 6: Biblical Christianity is the true CONTINUATION of the religion of the Hebrew patriarchs and prophets of antiquity. "The folly of interpreters has been to foretell times and things by this prophecy [Revelation], as if God designed to make them prophets. By this rashness they have not only exposed themselves, but brought the prophecy also into contempt. The design of God was much otherwise. He gave this and the prophecies of the Old Testament, not to gratify men's curiosities by enabling them to foreknow things, but that after they were fulfilled they might be interpreted by the event, and his own providence, not the interpreters', be then manifested thereby to the world. @ deezee1174 : First and foremost, it has something to do with the “ MARK OF THE BEAST “ Revelation 13:15-17 . Who is this beast in Revelation 13:1-3 that rise out of the sea ? It’s the Papacy. Beast represents Kingdom in Daniel 7:23. But this beast in Revelation 13:1-3 is both religious and political kingdom: meaning it is both church and state . The Papacy is headquartered in the Vatican , and the Vatican is an independent state. At the same it’s also a religious conglomerate. The Church of Rome or the Catholic Church had no qualms of their claims that the Mark of the Church authority over the Bible is when they changed the day of worship from the seventh day Sabbath to the first day of the week which is Sunday. So Sunday worship is their Mark. In short, one day there is going to be a Law enforcing Sunday as a day of rest for everyone and in all religions ; violator will be penalize and worst be killed if they will not follow this law. There’s a precedent already on this during the early years of America.

And this is how we allow errors and liberal theology to creep in and lose our identity and our foundations. We should be very careful in reading these things. The Sunday law is not a theory that our pioneers came up with. It can be biblically demonstrated and established.

Take a New look or fresh look at Revelation 23:18 , Jeremiah 51 the entire chapter, Amos 8: 11 and 12 , and Daniel 11:45-12:1 . Today is January 20 , exactly one year ago today the man who planted his Apadana/ embassy in Jerusalem came to his end and none helped him, even though it seemingly wasn’t perhaps fair. So that time or season is ending and the year of trouble in Daniel 12:1 is starting. Also, the template for the Sunday law , the deception of the pharmaceuticals being pushed by the governments of the world is almost at its final stage. Revelation 18:23 . Three steps: 1) offer rewards / work bonuses 2) mandates, taking your employment, kid, right to enter buildings and any other scare tactics. 3) impose huge fines / punishments so those who refuse compliance will lose everything they have and be left homeless and broke or even in jail if they don’t have money for their fines, Same steps as the Sunday laws. And this is where we now are, God isn’t waiting for the world to learn the truth, it’s been preached. He is waiting for those still in the valley of deciding to get their Mark either for or against. This concept is a figment in the imagination of the Seventh-day Adventists who have a giant persecution complex. The whole "Sunday law" notion is completely absurd and utterly childish. Most importantly it is NOT found in the Bible. There is nothing about *"the first day of the week"* being forced upon anyone at anytime, let alone as part of a "final test" for all humanity. Recall the adage frequently said by Adventists: _"If it's in the Bible we want it. _*_If it's NOT in the Bible, we don't want it"_* .

Great controversy pages 359-361. Did our Lord say that the day an hour should never be known? Did he not give us signs of the times in order that we might know at least the approach is coming as one knows the approach of the Summer by the fig tree putting forth its leaves Matthew 24:32. Are we to never know the period with He himself exhorted us not only to read Daniel the prophet and to understand it and in that very Daniel where it is said that the words were shut up to the time of the end (which is now) many shall run to and fro a Hebrew expression for observing and thinking about the time ,and knowledge shall increase. Besides this our Lord did not intend to say that the approach of time should not be known, but that the exact day and hour knoweth no man . Enough, he does say shall be known by the signs of the times to induce us to prepare for his coming as Noah prepared the ark.
Sunday law would be irrelevant anyway because the Sabbath is a day of rest and you can play with your filthy money when you fellowship on Sunday but the Sabbath is meant to be kept Holy God did not like the children of Israel going out to collect Manna on the Sabbath so why would he want you to collect money on the Sabbath ( also read Deuteronomy and you will see humility is a key theme so dressing yourself up is vanity and pride you would be better to love God than your vain habit, but if you want to do what Jesus did then by all means go to the synagogue and preach to the Jews as was his habit but he did not fellowship with his disciples on the Sabbath did he ( and wherever you are at All times you can worship God)
You’ll be too late if you believe that date. The Bible prophets Daniel, Jeremiah, Amos and John the revelator do not agree with that date . Let’s start with Revelation 18:23 This verse says that probationary time will end or close because the great leaders of the world will force pharmaceuticals ( a.k.a. sorceries ) on their citizens to deceive them ,and that will lead to the candle going out ( probationary time ending). Amos 8:11-12 says that there is a famine in the land for the Word of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea from east to west and run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord and shall not find it. Running to and fro ( a Hebrew expression for thinking upon time, prophetic time) . These people waited too long to search, probationary time had already ended. Now, let’s look at. Jeremiah 51, which is where the concepts found in Revelation 18 in the New Testament originated. To really understand you need to read the whole chapter. Verse one :The Lord says that he will raise up against Babylon and its inhabitants a destroying wind. Some interpret this a plague or virus. In verse six he says to flee out of the mist of Babylon to save your soul for this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance. verse 34 says that Nebuchadnezzar has swallowed up like a dragon and filled his belly with God’s delicates. Then verse 44 says that God will punish bell and bring forth out of his mouth that which he swallowed up and the nations will not flow together anymore and Babylon will fall. Verse 45 says go out of the mist of her and deliver your soul from the fierce anger of the Lord. Pay close attention to verse 46.Unless your heart faint for fear for the rumor that shall be heard in the land a rumor shall both come one year and after that in another year shall come a rumor and violence in the land and ruler against ruler. This verse describes very accurately the past two years of mandates, but there is more. Verse 51 says we are confused because we have heard reproach shame/veils have covered our faces and strangers have come into the sanctuaries of the Lords house. The actual mandates started between February and March two years ago . What happens next? Versus 51 to 53 strangers are in the Lord’s house where for I will do judgment upon her graven images Babylon shall mount up to heaven and fortify the height of her strength yet From Me shall spoilers come. The original Babylon was a huge tower city full of idols and built to defy God’s word to spread out and repopulate the earth . They disbelieved the rainbow promise and defied God . Changing the day he calls holy is also in defiance of His word. Nebuchadnezzar’s grandson defied God by drinking out of the temple cups that said on them “holiness to the Lord” and at that point the writing was on the wall. When ,and it will soon happen, the world takes the one Commandment that says “holy “ to the Lord and tramples on it to make another day holy, the whole world will be sealed, each person either for life or death. Loyalty to God’s law is God’s seal. I saved Daniel who was shown so accurately the future that some argued it was written after the event , till archeologists dug up a copy older than the events predicted. Daniel 11:45 -12:1 is the clincher as to the timeline for the ending of probation, and I find it ironic that I am sending you this text on January 20, 2022. He shall plant his Apaden ( the original Persian word that Daniel used here) between the seas in the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to an end and none shall help him. And at that time ( year or season) Shall Michael stand up ,the great prince with standeth for the children of thy people ,and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was. An Apaden is an embassy, and the man who built it there came to his end Exactly one year ago today, which means that the time or year of Jacob’s Trouble will shortly or presently be upon us . Additionally we are supposed to pray that our flight be not in the winter or on the Sabbath day winter ends March 20, 2022 . Putting all this Scriptural knowledge together we get that sometime between today and March 15 when the two years covid mandated enforcement anniversary is (in this country at least) we will start to see a push for Sunday laws.

I think of the present-day advent movement as promoting the message that Jesus can never be that kind of king. People who understand that the kingdom of glory is “not of this world” are still in danger of being deceived by a false messiah but understanding the nature of the kingdom and the nature of the king vastly reduces that danger.
In the nineteenth century, the vast majority of U.S. citizens subscribed to - or were at least acquainted with - the doctrines of justification by grace alone through faith alone, the primacy of scripture and the priesthood of all believers. It is understandable that nineteenth century adventists didn’t think it was particularly important to emphasize doctrines with which their neighbors were already acquainted.
Between 1844 and 1888 (more or less) adventists emphasized other doctrines. The problem was that their failure to adequately emphasize more basic Bible doctrines resulted in a generation of adventists who were more focused on commandment keeping than on the doctrines mentioned above.
If you will read (or re-read) Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing (1896), Desire of Ages (1898) and Christ’s Object Lessons (1900), you may notice more of an emphasis on the love of God and basic Bible doctrines than had been evident in most of the earlier adventist literature.
From 1982 to 2007, my wife and I lived in Utah where the percentage of protestants was very low (about 13%?) and where an LdS (Mormon) teacher summarized his instruction as that the LdS religion is “all about what you DO”.
From 2007 to 2017 we lived in Michigan where a Luteran layman told me he knew there were things he had to do if he didn’t want to go to hell. (I contacted a Lutheran pastor to obtain a copy of Luther’s Small Catechism to show to my Lutheran acquaintance as evidence that Martin Luther didn’t teach that there are things people must do to avoid going to hell.)
We now live in Maine where the number of people who are nominally protestant comprise about 38% of the population and the majority of those people know so little about the protestant reformation they don’t have a working definition of the word “protestant”.
Are there things Christians “should do”?
Absolutely!
Unfortunately, there are adventists in Maine who are so focused on what Christians should do that basic gospel principles are given only lip service or are ignored entirely.
Where the majority of adventists once lived in the at-least-nominally-protestant United States, the majority of SdA membership is now in countries that were never predominantly protestant. In those countries, do you think the majority of adventists are teaching basic Bible principles? Or is the adventist “message” perceived as being all about what you DO?
Don't forget that God uses Unbelivers to fulfill His will as well as believers. We may very well be closer to Jesus Christ arrival then we think... Be prepared and ready because it will be as a normal, regular day when He comes back.

Seventh-day Adventists are apparently completely unaware that Roman Catholic practices. Catholics have always met everyday of the week for Mass (the daily Mass), *that includes Saturdays* . This is something that Christianity has done since the beginning.
There are 1.36 billion Catholics worldwide. If only 5% of them met for Mass on Saturdays, that would be 68 million attending church every single Saturday, that is more than triple the amount of the Seventh-day Adventists around the ENTIRE WORLD! (There are 22 million SDAs worldwide).
And yet SDAs believe that Catholics are going to force everyone to go to church on Sundays alone, and somehow *forbid meeting on Saturdays* . Again meeting daily, including Saturdays, is something that the Catholics have always done from the beginning. They are not going to go against their tradition and start to persecute those who attend church on Saturdays. After all, Catholics are all about tradition and they are not going to abandon it.
Further, the *Catholics themselves have been fiercely opposed and against the death penalty* since Vatican II. The Catholics have been instrumental in helping to remove the death penalty in most of Europe and in large swaths of Central and South America where Roman Catholicism has been predominant. So the notion of Catholics somehow desiring to enforce a universal Sunday law regarding who can buy and sell, and where people must "worship God" on Sundays with threat of the death penalty for noncompliance is simply not in Catholic philosophy and thought. A couple of questions for my fellow SDAs: 1. Where in Scripture are the words "National Sunday Law"? 2. Prophecy runs in cycles. At what point was keeping the 4th commandment the final test for Israel? 3. Where in Scripture is the Sabbath sealed on your forehead or on your hand? He who observes the day (Sabbath) observes it to the Lord, and he who does not observe the day, he receives the mark of the beast. Is that how Romans 14:6 reads?
A word doesn't need to be in the Bible for the teaching to be true. The word trinity is not in the Bible. But the Bible teaches the truth. So even though the words national Sunday law is not in the Bible, that teaching is found when one studies the book of revelation chapter 13.

I remember a man called Noah who they said was delusional as well, yet he was wise enough to get on the boat unlike the rest of the population of that time. And yes , I am well aware of who he was , but unlike him I can back everything I believe with scripture. Revelation18:23 , Jeremiah 51: 44-53 and Daniel 11:45-12:1. All three reference January to March of 2022 as being the start of the time of trouble. I didn’t randomly select a date . The 2 years of rumors /mandates seen in Jeremiah 51: 46 . started in March 2 years ago . Revelation 18:23 says that the candle will go out ( probationary time ends) when the Government leaders/kings of the earth peddle their pharmaceuticals on their citizens as a deception. Daniel 11:45 -12:1 says that when a man builds his Apaden/ embassy in Jerusalem he shall come to his end and no one will help him and in that season/ year Michael will stand up and there will be a time ,another year of trouble such as never was. It’s not complicated. That man left office January 20, 2021, so the first time (year or season) ended today . This means the time of trouble will start presently. Did God not say that he would do nothing without revealing it first to the people from his prophets. Amos 3:7.
@Carlos Martins those dates are not random , they are actually when these prophecies are fulfilling ,between January and March, not an exact date , but a season to prepare spiritually for the time of trouble such as Never was. When God tells us something so important that it is represented by 3 angels flying in the heaven and shouting it to earth’s inhabitants, we should sit up and take notice. He gave us three separate, but very pointed texts : Daniel 11:45 -12:1 , Jeremiah 51: 44-53 and Revelation 18 : 3-23 so we would know how close his return was. Not the date of His return, but the season of the end / time of trouble’s approach. Which Bible verse is it that you have a problem understanding or believing. And have you even considered that, If what God has told me to share is true, that you , not I am working against the Holy Spirit.
And by the way , SDA ‘s don’t necessarily have a good name, most other Christian Denominations consider them a cult. I would rather be known under only one name , that of my savior and Lord Jesus. I am a Christian who strives to keep all the commandments and puts all faith in my Father’s Word.

BUSTING THE SDA MYTH OF AN "INVISIBLE" MARK OF THE BEAST
Revelation was written in Greek. The literally meaning of CHARAGMA is a trade-mark or identifying mark.
The noun χαραγμα (charagma), which describes an engraving of any kind (any marking, brand, imprint or impression), or an item engraved (like a tablet or a piece of pottery, but also an idol or icon; see the noun εικον, eikon).
People probably began to mark things to declare their ownership of them (which is probably how writing began) but marks and symbols quickly evolved to declare the essential character of clans and troops, and the allegiance of the wearer of the mark to that troop.
Modern trademarks perfectly combine these two elements, and that is probably the best way to understand this word.
_The teachings of Jesus and the Apostles _*_never describe the Sabbath as a "final test" of any kind_*_ . Jesus is very explicit as to what the "final test" is. In fact, in one of His greatest sermons to His disciples he explains precisely what the "final test" will be. Here is Christ's final test as described in the SDA-authored Clear Word Bible_ :
Matt 25:32-26 Everyone on earth will be gathered before Him, and He will separate whose who are genuinely His from those who are not, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats during shearing time. He will call the sheep to His right and the goats to His left. Then He will say to those on His right, 'You are God's children because you are so much like Him. Come! It's time for you to receive you inheritance. You have cared about others, which shows that you care about me. When others were thirsty, you gave them water. When they were hungry, you gave them food, and when they were without a place to live, you took them in. When they had nothing suitable to wear, you gave them clothes. When they were sick, you visited and comforted them, and when they were in jail, you didn't forget them.'
_Did Jesus say, "You are God's children because you went to church on Saturday and judged those who went to church on Sunday?" No! The Sabbath has never been a test for gentile Christians and it never will be. _*_The final test will be whether or not a person has the unselfish and loving character of Jesus Christ_* .

My dad didn’t hear about Seventh-day Adventists until the 1920s. A little more than a year thereafter, he became a voting member of that organization.
On my mother’s side of the family, there were Seventh-day Adventists beginning in the late nineteenth century.
I became a voting member of that organization in 1959 and there is something about Seventh-day Adventists I want you - and anyone else who reads this - to know. My mother’s religion was (her words) “very different” from that of her mother.
My grandmother’s religion (and that of my paternal grandmother as well) could be described as institutional. I think of my grandmothers as having been followers of the officers of the Seventh-day Adventist organization.
I never thought of my parents that way. I thought of their religion as personal - not institutional. Their denominational affiliation was Seventh-day Adventist - and they were active members of that organization until they died in the 1980s - but their religion was biblical Christianity. Those two things are related but they are not the same thing.
In 1888, a book was published by Seventh-day Adventists in which the author wrote some things that many Seventh-day Adventists have oversimplified to mean that there will someday be a “national Sunday law” requiring U.S. citizens to honor Sunday as a Christian holy day.
Do I think that could happen?
Yes. But whereas some Seventh-day Adventists think of a national Sunday law as an essential part of their eschatology, I’m not at all sure that the future events envisioned by some Seventh-day Adventists are the only - or the best - way to interpret Bible prophecy. I think, for example, that the “mark of the beast” mentioned in Revelation 13 is ANY use of coercion with regard to religious beliefs, religious practices or religious prohibitions - regardless of whether or not such coercion is brought to bear with regard to a weekly holy day.
A decade or so ago, Mark Finley was encouraging institutional religion. He may have changed his tune since then. I hope so.
On the other hand, the nineteenth century advent movement existed - and grew for more than a decade - without any formal Seventh-day Adventist organization, without any Seventh-day Adventist hierarchy and without any Seventh-day Adventist creed. I think of the focus of the pioneers of the advent movement as encouraging personal religion, personal Bible study, elc. and as encouraging people to consider the evidence that the millennial kingdom of Jesus will NOT be the kind of political kingdom many professed Christians anticipate.
I do not subscribe to the doctrine (widely taught by conservatives Christians in the twenty-first century) that God has one plan of salvation for the physical descendents of Israel (Jacob) and another plan for non-Hebrews.
Other principles of Bible interpretation I encourage Christians to consider are:
1: Much of Bible prophecy is conditional. (The prophecy of Jonah is the best-known example.)
2: The gospel was preached to Abraham. (Galatians 3:8) If Christians are people who have faith in the Messiah, Abraham and other Hebrew patriarchs and prophets of antiquity were Christians by that definition.
3. Some of the restoration prophecies were fulfilled after the Babylonian captivity.
4. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29 (See Romans 4 and the rest of Galatians 3.)
5: The 70-weeks prophecy of Daniel 9 has already been fulfilled.
6: Biblical Christianity is the true CONTINUATION of the religion of the Hebrew patriarchs and prophets of antiquity.

@ deezee1174 : First and foremost, it has something to do with the “ MARK OF THE BEAST “ Revelation 13:15-17 . Who is this beast in Revelation 13:1-3 that rise out of the sea ? It’s the Papacy. Beast represents Kingdom in Daniel 7:23. But this beast in Revelation 13:1-3 is both religious and political kingdom: meaning it is both church and state . The Papacy is headquartered in the Vatican , and the Vatican is an independent state. At the same it’s also a religious conglomerate. The Church of Rome or the Catholic Church had no qualms of their claims that the Mark of the Church authority over the Bible is when they changed the day of worship from the seventh day Sabbath to the first day of the week which is Sunday. So Sunday worship is their Mark. In short, one day there is going to be a Law enforcing Sunday as a day of rest for everyone and in all religions ; violator will be penalize and worst be killed if they will not follow this law. There’s a precedent already on this during the early years of America.
I thought sda folks would have woke up after the poison injection campaign. The mark is not sunday worship. For lack of knowledge and a false sense of security due to no sunday law, they will submit to the beast system mark when it arrives.

Respectfully, you can't actually demonstrate the Sunday law from the Bible alone. It always has to be eisegeted into passages by the Seventh-day Adventists using their "proof-texting" hermeneutic.

Take a New look or fresh look at Revelation 23:18 , Jeremiah 51 the entire chapter, Amos 8: 11 and 12 , and Daniel 11:45-12:1 . Today is January 20 , exactly one year ago today the man who planted his Apadana/ embassy in Jerusalem came to his end and none helped him, even though it seemingly wasn’t perhaps fair. So that time or season is ending and the year of trouble in Daniel 12:1 is starting. Also, the template for the Sunday law , the deception of the pharmaceuticals being pushed by the governments of the world is almost at its final stage. Revelation 18:23 . Three steps: 1) offer rewards / work bonuses 2) mandates, taking your employment, kid, right to enter buildings and any other scare tactics. 3) impose huge fines / punishments so those who refuse compliance will lose everything they have and be left homeless and broke or even in jail if they don’t have money for their fines, Same steps as the Sunday laws.

So God’s word has pointed us specifically to the timeline or period of NOW January- March of 2022 for the time of trouble such as Never was to start. If and when the light of the candle goes out, there will not be any more preaching, it’s over see Amos 8:11-12. And this is where we now are, God isn’t waiting for the world to learn the truth, it’s been preached. He is waiting for those still in the valley of deciding to get their Mark either for or against. Time to come off the fence, no man can serve 2 masters. Pray that your flight be not in the winter. Winter ends March 20 . Don’t be deceived by no seeming activity at first or in between Sunday laws and death decree or plagues. Remember they were in the ark 8 days before it started to rain , sealed in 8 days before that 40 days nightmare. No one on the outside realizing that their fate was sealed.

Seventh-day Adventists are apparently completely unaware that Roman Catholic practices. Catholics have always met everyday of the week for Mass (the daily Mass), *that includes Saturdays* . This is something that Christianity has done since the beginning.
There are 1.36 billion Catholics worldwide. If only 5% of them met for Mass on Saturdays, that would be 68 million attending church every single Saturday, that is more than triple the amount of the Seventh-day Adventists around the ENTIRE WORLD! (There are 22 million SDAs worldwide).
And yet SDAs believe that Catholics are going to force everyone to go to church on Sundays alone, and somehow *forbid meeting on Saturdays* . Again meeting daily, including Saturdays, is something that the Catholics have always done from the beginning. They are not going to go against their tradition and start to persecute those who attend church on Saturdays. After all, Catholics are all about tradition and they are not going to abandon it.
Further, the *Catholics themselves have been fiercely opposed and against the death penalty* since Vatican II. The Catholics have been instrumental in helping to remove the death penalty in most of Europe and in large swaths of Central and South America where Roman Catholicism has been predominant. So the notion of Catholics somehow desiring to enforce a universal Sunday law regarding who can buy and sell, and where people must "worship God" on Sundays with threat of the death penalty for noncompliance is simply not in Catholic philosophy and thought. This concept is a figment in the imagination of the Seventh-day Adventists who have a giant persecution complex. The whole "Sunday law" notion is completely absurd and utterly childish. Most importantly it is NOT found in the Bible.
There is nothing about *"the first day of the week"* being forced upon anyone at anytime, let alone as part of a "final test" for all humanity.
Recall the adage frequently said by Adventists: _"If it's in the Bible we want it. _*_If it's NOT in the Bible, we don't want it"_* .

Great controversy pages 359-361. Did our Lord say that the day an hour should never be known? Did he not give us signs of the times in order that we might know at least the approach is coming as one knows the approach of the Summer by the fig tree putting forth its leaves Matthew 24:32. Are we to never know the period with He himself exhorted us not only to read Daniel the prophet and to understand it and in that very Daniel where it is said that the words were shut up to the time of the end (which is now) many shall run to and fro a Hebrew expression for observing and thinking about the time ,and knowledge shall increase. Besides this our Lord did not intend to say that the approach of time should not be known, but that the exact day and hour knoweth no man . Enough, he does say shall be known by the signs of the times to induce us to prepare for his coming as Noah prepared the ark.
Sunday law would be irrelevant anyway because the Sabbath is a day of rest and you can play with your filthy money when you fellowship on Sunday but the Sabbath is meant to be kept Holy God did not like the children of Israel going out to collect Manna on the Sabbath so why would he want you to collect money on the Sabbath ( also read Deuteronomy and you will see humility is a key theme so dressing yourself up is vanity and pride you would be better to love God than your vain habit, but if you want to do what Jesus did then by all means go to the synagogue and preach to the Jews as was his habit but he did not fellowship with his disciples on the Sabbath did he ( and wherever you are at All times you can worship God)

You’ll be too late if you believe that date. The Bible prophets Daniel, Jeremiah, Amos and John the revelator do not agree with that date . Let’s start with Revelation 18:23 This verse says that probationary time will end or close because the great leaders of the world will force pharmaceuticals ( a.k.a. sorceries ) on their citizens to deceive them ,and that will lead to the candle going out ( probationary time ending).
Amos 8:11-12 says that there is a famine in the land for the Word of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea from east to west and run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord and shall not find it. Running to and fro ( a Hebrew expression for thinking upon time, prophetic time) . These people waited too long to search, probationary time had already ended.
Now, let’s look at. Jeremiah 51, which is where the concepts found in Revelation 18 in the New Testament originated. To really understand you need to read the whole chapter. Verse one :The Lord says that he will raise up against Babylon and its inhabitants a destroying wind. Some interpret this a plague or virus. In verse six he says to flee out of the mist of Babylon to save your soul for this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance.
verse 34 says that Nebuchadnezzar has swallowed up like a dragon and filled his belly with God’s delicates. Then verse 44 says that God will punish bell and bring forth out of his mouth that which he swallowed up and the nations will not flow together anymore and Babylon will fall. Verse 45 says go out of the mist of her and deliver your soul from the fierce anger of the Lord. Pay close attention to verse 46.Unless your heart faint for fear for the rumor that shall be heard in the land a rumor shall both come one year and after that in another year shall come a rumor and violence in the land and ruler against ruler. This verse describes very accurately the past two years of mandates, but there is more. Verse 51 says we are confused because we have heard reproach shame/veils have covered our faces and strangers have come into the sanctuaries of the Lords house. The actual mandates started between February and March two years ago . What happens next? Versus 51 to 53 strangers are in the Lord’s house where for I will do judgment upon her graven images Babylon shall mount up to heaven and fortify the height of her strength yet From Me shall spoilers come. The original Babylon was a huge tower city full of idols and built to defy God’s word to spread out and repopulate the earth . They disbelieved the rainbow promise and defied God . Changing the day he calls holy is also in defiance of His word.
Nebuchadnezzar’s grandson defied God by drinking out of the temple cups that said on them “holiness to the Lord” and at that point the writing was on the wall. When ,and it will soon happen, the world takes the one Commandment that says “holy “ to the Lord and tramples on it to make another day holy, the whole world will be sealed, each person either for life or death. Loyalty to God’s law is God’s seal.
I saved Daniel who was shown so accurately the future that some argued it was written after the event , till archeologists dug up a copy older than the events predicted. Daniel 11:45 -12:1 is the clincher as to the timeline for the ending of probation, and I find it ironic that I am sending you this text on January 20, 2022. He shall plant his Apaden ( the original Persian word that Daniel used here) between the seas in the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to an end and none shall help him. And at that time ( year or season) Shall Michael stand up ,the great prince with standeth for the children of thy people ,and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was.
An Apaden is an embassy, and the man who built it there came to his end Exactly one year ago today, which means that the time or year of Jacob’s Trouble will shortly or presently be upon us .
Additionally we are supposed to pray that our flight be not in the winter or on the Sabbath day winter ends March 20, 2022 .
Putting all this Scriptural knowledge together we get that sometime between today and March 15 when the two years covid mandated enforcement anniversary is (in this country at least) we will start to see a push for Sunday laws.
