. ഇതൊക്കെ കീഴ്കോടതിയിൽ വച്ചു തീർക്കണം. സുപ്രീംകോടതി യുടെ മുൻപിൽ പ്രമാദമായ എത്ര കേസുകൾ കെട്ടിക്കിടക്കുന്നു.
The Supreme Court has forgotten that there are thousands of litigations pending adjudication. They seem to be more interested in going after Baba Ramdev, finding loopholes to save Kejriwal etc.

The Supreme Court ought to know that the system of Sapthapadi and Panigrahanam were prescribed only for a section of Hindus. Therefore applying that practice unviersally for every Hindu is absolutely ill informed and unwarranted.

Doesn't matter which rituals you follow. There are regional variations for hindu marriage rituals,or any rituals for that matter,birth, pregnancy, death etc. Your marriage will be valid under Hindu marriage act only if you follow your community's regional rituals. Else it's void. If you don't want to have rituals, you should follow special marriage act.
@@silvereyes000 rituals and religion are different. I can be a Hindu and believe in Hinduism but would not want to conduct any rituals, that doesn't make me a non-hindu. A special marriage act is for when you don't want to be governed by personal laws. I think the Supreme Court didn't want to do the hard work and so they just came up with a blanket judgement. I am sure this will be amended in the future.
