My problem isn’t falling asleep, it’s staying asleep! Every since I started dieting and exercising I get 3 hours of sleep and then I’m fully awake
My recent trauma kept me awake for several weeks until recently taking magnesium calm me down.i am still having issues falling asleep quickly. once I fall out, I sleep a few hours here and there, then wake up randomly and have a hard time falling back. Living in the city is challenging due to cars and truck noise. Once it reaches morning peak time, you can forget sleeping at this time. Usually around 7 -8am. This whole situation has given me soo much stress and anxiety that I am looking for an answer everywhere I can. Found this doctor and trying to adapt his technique to my life changes. Thank you !!!

Wow I believe in you. Watching of your many advice of breathing, first few times I find it a bit hard but continue practice I find it easy to do it now, and one more whenever I inhale deep long and hold it inside, I have to squeeze my nose and closed my mouth tight so that no air slip out. Then hold it until my stomach like a balloon big, I open my mouth and the air flow out automatically like a balloon lose air without me working exhale , this is marvelous and effective . Been up all night from terrible headaches that come from the muscles in my shoulders and upper back that are to contracted won't relax causing deferred headaches badly, I end up looking like a bear scratching his back on tree, but I'm using the door jam to massage the spots I can't reach

The duration is different for everyone. Some people swear by holding your breath about 4 or 5 seconds. The idea here is to breathe in as much as you can, hold it, blow out mouth open. Hope this helps.
It always brings my bp down a little. For example, My systolic might be about 135, and this technique will bring it down to about 125

Yes sir it’s the same as long as you get oxygen !
i would try and breathe through your nose as much as you possibly can, then through your mouth as needed. nose breathing has many other health benefits.

I’m glad to watch this because I had issues with restless legs and I would do similar exercises. It took whole half an hour but it’s better than popping a pill. I will utilize your techniques more often now, not just with RLS. Thanks Doc! You’re doing God’s work!
Taking magnesium glycinate can sometimes help that as well.
