  • It's Glen Taylor Day again!
What a momentous 90 minutes in Stockport County's history.
Two first-half goals from County put them in cruise control against local team Curzon Ashton at Edgeley Park. However, the drama was to take place over 100 miles away at The Brewery Field as Spennymoor took on top of the table Chorley.
A win or a draw would be enough to give The Magpies the advantage heading into the final match of the season . It looked to be heading that way too until a 94th minute winner from striker Glen Taylor was enough to wrestle the title advantage away from Chorley and into the grateful hands of Jim Gannon's Hatters.
    Incredible.
