Just a coincidence..I was in touch with parents family of Mrs. Rekha Verma (Colonel Balram Marwaha) in 1965, when they were staying at Princess Park Mess, close to India Gate & was lucky to serve under General Deepak right from Day 1 of my Commissioning in 1967. Like all Services colleagues, hats off to his endless dedication. Mrs Verma, an excellent presentation. Warm regards & all the wishes.
Mrs Varma on podcast, She speaks with full confidence and is equally knowledgeable on service matters. Rare ,not all knows so much including finer details . Complements to her. Her sequence covered all key milestones about Gen Deepak Varma’s participation in all conflicts/wars with plenty of clarity.Again complements to her for summarising key achievements of General so well. Her communication skill is superb which seems to be primary reason for her fantastic performance on the podcast.👌👌👌👌👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼10 Outstanding job done by Mrs Varma
Mrs Rekha Varma., I am so delighted to hear your conversation during the interview with the press, about your glorious Army life with your husband Maj Gen Deepak Varma., war veteran. Now I am certain " There is a woman behind every man's success" It is educational to the youngsters to know the difficult conditions soldiers had to face during the journey to forward areas in the North East, during early nineteen sixties. It is interesting to note, during one of the journeys of those periods, in the North East, you and child were feeling hungry and could not find any shops supplying food , and suddenly found a South Indian shop supplying garam dosa and all of you delished it.
What a detailed account of old memories. Mrs Rekha Varma relived the old incidents with such minute details like Pinnies in Tin ...16 Kg tin kanastar ....walking by her father for one month ....or Gen Varma her husband's profile in Russia etc ...a lovely narration of the glittering milestones of her Army Life both as a daughter and wife in the Army . A wonderful well spoken narration of a glorious Army life and you continue to be respected for all your deeds. Well done and God Bless you in great measure.
Mrs.Varma, it's such a detailed account of the.Army journey. .It's such an honour to be an army kid and wife.As you said ,yes it's a very decieplined life.I know you personally when General was Brigade commander inAllahabad we had a great time there.Youhave been so helpful when my husband during my husband's illness.you are a great couple ,not to forget the three P beautiful young girls we expect more such videos from you.
Impressive ! Excellent narration of various odds and challenges faced by Indian Army. Rekha Verma has very nicely described the skills, courage, perseverence, daring, prompt and quick decision making by her husband , Major General Deepak Verma. Not only the Valor of the army personnel when they are on war front but also their families' emotions and agony, patience and calmness with which the families manage their issues in their absence are depicted clearly by her.
Fantastic presentation by Mrs Rekha Varma. I have had the honour of serving under General Deepak Varma and interact with whole family. I will say that the family is a God’s gift for everyone they come in contact. My prayers for their wellness 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
