Hello, everyone. I am so happy to find this site. However , I am a bit sad because I was away from the UK from October 2020 to April 2022, that’s 18 months. I came back April 6,2022. I was scared during the pandemic so, me and my husband decided to move to France. As his family is there. I know, I am not eligible for a settled status as I broke my leave. But, will I get an automatic 2 years extension at the end of my pre-settled status at the end of June 2025. Thanks.
I used to live in the uk from 2012 to 2013 then returned to Portugal to finish my studies, and came back now to the uk. Will i be able to apply? I have national insurance number and everything.
I completed 5 years on pre settled status and applied for settled status on 13th May but so far I have not received any thing from home office . My BRP is expired on 10th June. How much time it will take to get the decision ?
My wife have a permanent residence card, which is a sticker in her passport, it’s expiring on the 1 st September 2024, I the husband have dual citizenship ( French and English) can she apply directly for British citizenship or does she have to apply for settlement status first.

After that I worked 8 months in Amsterdam and moved back to the UK in 2022 April. Working and living here since that. The end date of my pre-settled status is 2024 November. Is there a chance to apply for settled or will I loose my right to "upgrade"? Could you help me with this please?

I decided to apply online for settled status, I chose that I did not stay outside of UK longer than allowed (COVID is an exception) and they processed my application and got my settled status in 2 weeks.
Hy.if i got presettle status and i want to apply for settle status,because now i got more then 5 years in Uk....they will automatically use my detaills from presettle status account,after i am logged in?or i need to reapply again from 0 with aplication like how was on presettle aplication?

As far as i know, you have to make a new application (reapply again from 0)
They may renew it automatically but until then, I would just apply if I were you rather than wait.

You'll need to be living in the UK to apply. If your child was born in the UK when you had settled status, they would have been British automatically.

I am resident in Portugal right now but I am also working Virtualy part time for a compay in the UK.@@ThePushUKLifestyle
