Read somewhere that the band wanted to ride into the sunset after Proper Dose but decided to continue when Parker found something to write about after losing his father, and if this is their final one, the boys are leaving with a bang. This album is absolutely beautiful and this song especially stood out for me.
Rolling stone interview. “What better way to go out than go out on top?” Then he says the band gave him space he needed and they took their time. The Blink tour was a huge moment that cemented his purpose, to continue being friends and playing music for a long time to come. Sounds like they aren’t going anywhere which is great
I hope not. Soil and dirt and what you cant see was enough to make em my favorite band 4 life im pretty sure. Even though feel like most music after those 2 is kinda mid with a few bangers. but ill be sad af to see the final album. So ill take anything theyve got for as lomg as possible and jam every song. Im basically a Swifty for TSSF off of only 2 albums and an LP lol. My girl asked me Whos the one dude id bang if i had to choose 1. And i said Parker Cannon XD
How will I get through this? A question. Then an answer. A question. Then a beautiful answer. TSSF managed to thread the topic of parental loss into multiple songs, while never feeling stale or inauthentic. Raw honesty incarnate. Love you TSSF. Love everyone reading this too 🩷
I feel you brother. I lost my old man 2 weeks before this album dropped. I don’t think that’s a coincidence. I hope this song and album have been as therapeutic to you as it has been for me.
2 months ago I lost my dad as well, I miss him more than anyone understands so to have one of my all time favorite bands put out this masterpiece of an album it hits home so hard. I love you so much dad, it hurts to know I'll never get to hear your voice the rest of my life but this song comforts me if only a bit
My mom lost her father at a young age and still goes through it every day. Sent her this album. These guys have always had the ability to detail feelings through song writing in such a unique way. Needless to say, we got a new TSSF fan.
The lyrics are pretty hits me hard as a guy who lost his father in 2009. Also this song is so blink coded especially the interlude, when I close my eyes, i thought Mark do the bass line and layering the vocals after it. No skip album of the year!
A lot of us grew up at the same time the boys did.. we’re all about the same age. I feel like they were writing about what I was going through back then, and now this? My dad died last year too and this is the only song I’ve ever found that felt like it matched how I feel and how I felt. Another amazing album, guys. ❤
life has been tough recently, music really helped me, love this band so much. and if they're gonna breakup as a band, still i'll be forever grateful for them, TSSF are gonna live forever!
Im going thru an unexpected break up of a ten year relationship as of 3 weeks ago and im heading towards 30 years old now and this song crushes my soul so bad.
I think it’s a really interesting personal connection/contrast that pops in my head; “Life is Strange: Before the Storm” contains music caliber to the taste of the main character’s music preference, that being punk/pop rock. Parker took inspiration to write due to the passing of his father, and the main character’s father from the game has passed on as well. Essentially, your hud and playlist of music in game is Chloe’s way of recapping moments and feelings of life after the incident, catered to make you feel like a confused human who’s going through the hardships of loss, while gaining something new and prosperous in the meanwhile with new life experiences and endeavors. Thought I’d share my analysis on the art form, this album is heart wrenching but still growth-fully fulfilling. I hope to see more from them. Anytime they do, I’ll stop on next time.
Gonna mow the lawn to this shit
No fucking way dude I’m mowing when I get off work today and you best believe I’m jamming this album the whole time
He does say , "i'll get up and do the yard work"? right? lol I love it if he does, if not i still love it either way. just wondering
@@fadrian98 yeah he says that lol
@@fadrian98 yes he does!
I don't even have a lawn and this makes me feel nostalgiac for mowing lol

@@Nobody-ss7ksyep they are staying . around proper dose they were questioning their existence, but they aren't going no where
“And if I take some time to cry and just recover- then maybe I could be there for my mother” 😢
I cry ev÷ry tine I hear this song. It's beautiful
There's no success without the test of leaving u behind😢
Parker did not lie, no skips. Thanks boys.
This song is so good. It's going to age like fine wine too. God bless this band. I'll be back in 20 years to listen again!

Love you TSSF.
Love everyone reading this too 🩷
This song hits hard if youve lost a parent. One of the best songs they've made imo.
I lost my dad back in February this year. I understand every single word to this song. RIP Dad. I miss you every single day.
Use this for healing, friend.
❤
Rip to your dad
I feel you brother. I lost my old man 2 weeks before this album dropped. I don’t think that’s a coincidence. I hope this song and album have been as therapeutic to you as it has been for me.
The best track in the album IMO
Big Blink vibes on this one! Huge chorus.
The guitar at 2:11 gives off huge self titled/untitled vibes. So good.
The intro is huge box car racer vibes for me
mark vibes for sure, even sounds like him at the break
this sounds so much better in the car with the bass turned up. you hear so much more
Man, a montage of my most cherished moments with my parents play through my head when that outro hits at the end. Miss you Mom and Dad.
"Nothing to say and Keep you around" are the "Solo and Mock" of this album!
Oh ya I can see that I hear it
For me the best song of this album 🤘🏽

Best song on the album ❤
Mission complete
Pop Punk is save again.
TBF since the revival about 4 or 5 years ago (TB producing albums with mgs, Kenny hoopla etc) it's just been on an insane upwards trajectory
Addicting song
This band got me through so much, I hope their lives are as kick ass as mine is now, keep rockin guys!
Just added the whole album to my playlist before listening bc i know TSSF doesn't disappoint.
My Son loves this,he loves the lyrics especially! Telling a story is key to any song!
I never heard of them, but my son sent this his mother and I, so I listened pulled up the lyrics and loved it! My son has good taste afterall!
@@ChgojerrI love reading comments like this. Please keep supporting your son by letting him sharing his interests with you. He must love you both!
@@ChgojerrI saw a comment here saying they sent this to their mom because she lost her dad at a young age. Are you that mom?

Same with me. My mom lost her dad in December. I never cried from loss until he passed.
My mother also lost her father about 5 or 6 years ago. I sent her the album as well.
This will go down as one of TSSF's greatest songs.
Best song they've ever made.
Agreed. It’s amazing.
For fuxking real
There’s no way this song is getting slept on. The lyrics are beautiful, the melody is perfect
New music hasn’t missed yet 🔥🔥🔥 every song is a banger.
