In every banking exam I could clear the prelims, but get stuck in the mains. So, this time I focused more on mains than prelims. I just practiced more mains questions of quants, reasoning and english, and studied 4months worth of current affairs.

Hi Sir, I’m from Meghalaya and I feel that SBI is being unfair to us. Typically, the cut-off for the mains exam in our state used to be around 50+ with just 30+ seats available. This year, they increased the number of seats to 77, so the cut-off should have been lower to recruit all 77 candidates. However, it seems they are setting a high standard and recruiting very few people from our state. Are they increasing the number of seats knowing that many from our state won’t be able to meet the cut-off, so they can recruit fewer people while advertising a higher number of vacancies?
IBPS will still recruited even if cut off is very low. But i do feel SBI should do the same if they really needed people

@@bankerryngki6952 i guess they selected only 23 from meghalaya(i'm not sure). If 60 is the minimum cutoff for st.. then i don't think they will call anyone in waiting list also. Last year st cutoff for meghalaya was 56.50. It is so unfair

If EWS minimum qualifying marks is 35% in our state cut off for EWS 70 so if we score 69 then SBI will not release any waiting list for them

My total attempts were 89 with 5-6 wrong in GA itself. And yet I got 84.75. My guess is that instead of lowering cut off according to actual marks, SBI increased the marks of everyone after normalisation.
