The image that appeared in your screen was a real body, nobody knows really where it came from, and it’s supposed to be the protagonists mother. But since some of the images in this game are real pictures, I wouldn’t doubt that it is a real body. The reason that happened is because you went through the three temples which triggered a fake error message and forced you to look at that image until you quit the game.
