Question: When drawing your own border, how do you get it to extend outside the panel? I'm only able to draw inside the panel...

That's the effect of the mask that is automatically applied when you use the frame border tool. You either delete the mask in order to draw freely or make a new layer that goes above the mask layer and draw on that.

When selecting a panel for object resizing select the outside border line (I was clicking the panel). Great video, thanks!
