I love the hair! The way you fixed it definitely looks better lol. That's exactly why I stopped going to shops "stylist"because I found myself coming home feeling unhappy and taken it down all together or fixing it, after paying all that money. With the ones she interlocked you can go back to jus coiling it's up to you.
That style was an example of “what I asked for vs what I got” im glad u fixed it to something you would like. Plus it looked better. Beautiful baby locs..... BTW Your makeup is flawless too!
OMG you are so cute! I'm the exact way .. I don't let people in my head like that. I'm super particular. I have been watching your videos and love them. We seem to have the same hair type and face shape. That's super hard to find lol! I also have some heat damage😢😩 Thats really kept me from loc'ing sooner. I'm tired of my hair though🤦🏿 Btw what lip color are you using sis?
I think they look so beautiful. Looks like the color is coming thru more too. If you don't mind sharing, what would the average cost of a retwist and loc style cost? Wanna commit but so nervous about the awkward stage. Definitely following your journey for constant inspiration. Looking forward to the next update.
Thank you! I paid $90 for a wash, retwist, and style. However Im sure prices will vary depending on the stylist, location, and the length/number of locs you have.
Hello, I'm 14 months loc'd and my hair is fine. Your experience with the two outer locs, located at the nape is the same as mine. That hair is baby hair fine. I was concerned with is it breaking or is it to thin to be a stand alone loc. My suggestion is let it be. Those locs are full and thriving. Still today, at the root it feels thin like what's going on compared to the fullness of the loc but as it grows it bunches and forms a nice loc. Hope that helps!
Its hard to say. I heard a lot of mixed opinions when it comes to protective styles and when and how early you should do it. Ive seen some people start protective styling as soon as they start their loc journey and I've also heard that you should wait. In my tutorial of me installing my faux locs I talk about all the things I considered before doing them, I recommend checking it out as I go into more details.

Yes! Thank you! And thanks for the tip about the ones that are interlocked.

What type of aloe gel do you use?? I am on my 4th month and I know you’re past a year now but I am big on natural products as well!
