I was using fireteam finder yesterday and a guy was using this build... We completed it in 15 minutes. I was playing support, loved seeing him go and kick ass.
We need to beg Bungie to give us a tribute hall for damage testing. The main reason I want a tribute hall right now is to test damage starts for the witness. I gotta find a good one for my titan.
agreed, its still an extremely powerful exotic but having to charge it up instead of having it instantly available soon the moment you're in mid-air is stupid for PvE.
from my short testing i think it has 2 different required in-air time duration - if you jump after shield bash is ready (when you see those zooming visual effect) then peregrine procs pretty fast, while if you jump before shield bash is ready it takes longer to get peregrine ready. it might also just be that it feels longer for latter case cuz you wait for 2 timers (shield bash ready + peregrine activated) instead of 1 timer after your jump but once i started to try jumping as late as possible, its been pretty consistent since then
I was actually using the void build yesterday. Weaken supress nades to help with damage when overshield gets stripped, but it did have the issue mentioned of overshield melting off sometimes. I did put together the prismatic build, but I wasn't sure if the damage stacking would be enough in GM, since knockout is so janky. Will try it out I think. I also considered the alternative of shackle nades. Loses weaken and anti-overload, but gets unstop (for other GMs), helps hold them still, and gives the courage damage bonus.
yeah i’ve seen some people complain that overshield gets stripped way too easily and yeah it really does. something needs to be changed about it so it lasts at least a little longer
Had a teammate use this while I was playing solar warlock healer, he was just walking around one tapping every miniboss haha! I don't play titan, but I would just for this!
Far from the best exotic, without a sea of champions or tornentors it's uptime drops drastically, then you're forced to run monte carlo for any real uptime.
@The_real_hondacivic_ nah, I'm running triple 100(resil, recov & stren) and even then without a bunch of champs I would never main this build over triple consecration with inmost+sythos class item, or dregrs+armamentarium class item for double shackle grenade and enhanced dregrs lash for great suspend uptime, or strand 1 2 punch sythos/wormgods...but I guess we all have out own playstyles.
My first GM LFG had my guy run in constantly on a stunned Champ no matter the situation of ads or stun length. Brave, but he died probably 3/4 the time lol
I’m level 2005 I set my build exactly like this had the perk activated and it’s not a one shot they had 30% left and i waited till it was stunned what am I doing wrong?😊
As I was running GMs, the Void Titan on my team used Vexcalibur to get the overshield and it worked pretty good. This kind of fixes the cooldown problem, but you're still fucked if you get hit and your overshield gets ripped off.
When i've ran this build (pre TFS so on void) I ran it with edge of action and used the lava cakes as a way to get around bastions cd for void overshield and to act as a barrier to hide behind on my approach to the target. Plus getting invis on finisher in case something went wrong made the build work quite well.
This build has been out from the 30th anniversary, it blew up back then too, it's not getting nerfed. It needs a bunch of champions or tormentors to look as good as the video portrays
This is the exact expected interaction with Peregrine, at least since a buff to fully restore SC energy and buff damage on hit vs champs, mini bosses, and tormentors
Lol this is my pris titan pvp build. It garentees an ice lance so you can OS someone then almost instantly freeze their team mate with the lance and os them also. With knock out and and diamond lance. Use the void super with facet of purpose to get an over shield from the orb you create with heavy handed + facet of blessing, it unbelievable how healthy you are to turn around and hit someone with the lance and knock out right after just meleeing his teamate right infront of him.
I’ve been meaning to try this build out for ages. I’ll have to slap it together and try it out after I feel like I’ve got Stronghold gameplay on lock (which is the tanking fantasy I’ve always wanted!)
Might make use of this to avoid fighting time when randoms decide to melt the boss before champions spawn in on Nightfalls. But this remains a fun build just for the sake of actually being fun AND viable. Nothing like kicking a champion!
I was running this on void this week for GMs clears avg aropund 16 mins and had a few 15 min clears, I used blinding grenades to make sure i didnt get rolled when i was going for some shoulder charges, I just wish i had old wendigo for my blinding as i wasnt really using my heavy anyways. Ive used this build in all my titan GMs sense they got the buff, there hasnt been one were i felt like i needed to swap
I've been doing casual 20~ min runs. Doing consecration shenanigans with a hoil and syntho mark. Most champions spawn in a group with a bunch of red bars making consecration almost 1 hit. In the boss room when clearing ads from left side they usually funnel into the middle lane making consecration cause massive ignitions on everything also nearly 1 hitting wyverns also.
Been using this kind of build since final shape came out. But instead of diamond lance, i use unbreakable. Somthing about haveing a oversheild on command really gives you better survival. Plus, you can still weaken targets with it. And instead of suppressor, i use shackle. So i can choose in a instance to either boost my abilitys OR weaken the target . Rather than set up for both. It is a very interesting and situational build but with the right stats and mods you can one shot and survive almost everything
For those who don't know what enemies Peregrine Greaves works on are enemies with a red triangle or a gray/yellow triangle next to their health bar and other specific enemy types that I can't name off the top of my head other than Tormentors. Also, I feel like the new Subjugator enemies should be able to be one shot and get the melee back with the peregrine grieves because in my eyes they are just tormentors with a subclass.
For Void you can use the armor mod that gives you overshield on finisher along with the echo of obscurity for invis on finisher and echo of cessation to clear out some ads on finisher. Then you just build up a little armor charge with normal gameplay and finish an enemy and you are invis all set up to hit a champ. Great backup for the barricade overshield.

We did sub 15 runs with a speaker sight/song of flame warlock, void peregrine titan, tether hunter. Wish Ender, Lemonade, Tractor were the exotics we used.
For Peregrines to activate you have to sprint for two seconds, whether you're using lift or on the ground. That's why it sometimes takes a bit to activate in the air.
Also I’m fully aware how long and how many videos have been made on it. It was a joke comment because bungie seems to nerf anything fun that titans have.

This is actually a pretty cool build, it is not a strong as hunter melee but it’s actually pretty decent. Will give it a try for sure. How did you get these cool looking arms?
Its stronger than the hunter melee considering it can be used multiple times in quick succession so long as its against a champion and the damage is 27x the normal amount.
I made a similar build but solar, so the sunspots healing on kill basically made you a invincible funnel creating god that made all enemies bite the curb. peregrine was the most slept on exotic, to bad bungies gunna nerf it now since everyone is making this video.
I just wanna one two punch and shoulder charge again for pve but noooo pvp ruined that but what else is new pvp has ruined alot of shit that effected pve for some brain dead reason

They need to revert the charging time for peregrine to proc. They nerfed it because of PvP but now it just feels horrible and inconsistent

this build doesnt work for me becasue it never procs in the right moments. feels like titan only has 2 and a half usable builds

Use heart shadow on void Ik the thing sucks but it makes you invis so you can keep your oversheild up and 1 shot everything with your melee safely

The other option is using hearthshadow to go invis, which I find really safe and quite useful to escape some situations

I like running proximity ward on my class item for an overshield during the finisher this build is fun.
Cool but useless. It only worked with you because you're coordinating with your team specifically for using that. In a normal LFG this wouldn't work.

I’m unsure about all powered melees not working but def they made peregrines not get any benefits from striking frozen targets

These babies really need an ornament. I literally never used Synthos until they got the last ornament due to that.

This is great fun but the one issue I have is staying alive long enough to pull it off in Master/GM level content.
You should try with bastion
The buff from bastion isn’t long enough to get a peregrine procced shoulder charge
