Yes, I had one about 2 years ago. It was very comfortable, great gas mileage. I would take longer rides and never got tired or sore. I’ve had two motorcycles since, a Royal Enfield and currently a Triumph. I’m considering going back to the C400GT. I only wish it had cruise control, that would complete the package a 100% imho.
Spot on review. Once you add a BMW top box and inner bag, it is much more usable as the underseat storage is too small to carry a decent bag on the move. I love this scooter as an everyday commuter as it has excellent weather protection, and with the heated seat and grips and the optional scooter canopy to cover your legs, it is really comfortable. The low centre of gravity makes it easy to ride at slow speeds, and the headlights are the best headlights I have ever had on a vehicle. The leg room is much better on this model than the C400X, as is the seat backrest. If you are over 6 feet tall, I recommend you get the 50mm higher windscreen, and it makes the wind protection even better and the best I have experienced.
Really nice to see this video. It was kinda an unfair release back in 2019. ( yeh know that virus thingy). As they released it we all went into lock down. But because of that I was able to pick up a peach 🍑 of a deal here in U.K. Got an ex BMW mechanic personal bike with 1000 miles for good price in triple Black. I have also had all kinds of bikes. Soortsbikes. Adv. Triumph Rocket 🚀. Harleys. And now at 52 the idea of twist and go is great. Im no little guy either 120kg 6 foot. But the bike takes me and my tiny Mrs 😂. I agree an extra 50cc or 100cc wouldn’t go amiss. But at 350cc you dont actually need more! I wonder if anyone has done aftermarket tuning on these. I personally prefer stock. There are Malossi parts you can get too. But yes great bike. The only 2 unfortunate things is under seat storage ( on the move). And that BMW charges £600 for a 30litre top box and kit. You can get Shad kits for pess than half that and bigger and better. So sadly that doesn’t make sense. But yes essentially you have a Kymco 350cc engine which has been around ages. I jump when I see ither C400GTs out and about. Ride safe. Greetings “sunny U.K. “
@countbasingstoke Google where the BMW is made . You will find without BMW telling anyone that they have bought joint ownership with China 🇨🇳 and own Loncin factory in China where motor and every part of C400 gt is made !!!!! Nothing is made in Taiwan anymore !!!
I have the c400x se in uk , first class machine bought from new ex demo with spots crash bars rack and BMW badge box all fitted by them prior to purchase , I’ve had all the big bikes tdm 850 etc , this is the way forward by a long way faultless , get it
I’ve owned this scooter for 24 months now. It’s been back to BMW 4 times. The petrol cap didn’t lock and didn’t release! Eventually replaced by BMW. The warning light for engine fault also came on on two occasions causing a break down twice. Eventually BMW replaced a part…….. Love the scooter but I think the build quality is NOT BMW. Would I buy again probably not I think the T Max is my next commuter.
BMW is totally made in Loncin Factory in China ....Google Loncin factory .....BMW IS hiding this from EVERYONE BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO ADMIT IT BECAUSE SALES WOULD PLUMMET !!!! MY NEIGHBOR IS MAD AS HELL BECAUSE WE FOUND OUT IT SAYS MADE IN CHINA 🇨🇳
@@route21garage Your welcome. Unless there has been updates to it, the differences I know of are is a parking brake & touch down on power. There may also be a lack of DRL's. BTW good review, keep the good work & keep us updated.
And made in Loncin factory owned by China with joint ownership with BMW ....CHEAPER MADE BUT STILL EXPENSIVE .....SHAREHOLDERS LOVE THEIR PEOFITS !!!! BMW IS QUITE ABOUT THIS FACT
The best scoot. I love it. For some people outhere, grapes are sour, so they brag about bmw. I own it and I love it. All other brands în this class, are way behind.
@iurox I can easily fit 2 full size helmets under my seat along with jackets clothes etc.... I bet you hate squeezing 1 helmet under seat while riding ! And that's a cheap joke having that push down area in back that only can be used when bike is just sitting there !!!! Horrible designing and engineering for an over priced scooter !!!
HORRIBLE STORAGE UNDER SEAT VERY VERY TINY UNLIKE THE GIANT XMAX 300 that can easily fit 2 .....yes 2 full size helmets plus jackets tools etc.....its the biggest of any 300 cc scooter in the world !!!! Think about getting the much better Yamaha Xmax 300 ....I love my 2023 with Garmin on dash and blue tooth on dash .....NO HANDS NEEDED TO TALK ON PHONE AND NO NEED FOR A GPS ......ITS BUILT INTO THE NEW DIGITAL DASH !!!!

@@glenevans2775 MADE TOTALLY IN CHINA AT LONCIN FACTORY 🏭 WHY DOES BMW HIDE THIS FROM THE PUBLIC ????
Been riding Vespa for almost 10 years then I acquired C400 X and I have been very happy and impressed. Great bike!
Could have been a 650cc. However, I own one and love it. A great machine to travel with.

No not that I am aware of…….

They should have made it look like the CE04 Just ICE edition. This thing doesn't appeal to me like the CE04. maybe next time BMW

Literally every other bike on the market
