  • MY wife has been on my case to make this sign as a gift for a team at her office, so I finally found the time to do it, but told her she had to help. By the time we got to the shop that became "you're doing the work" and off she went. Jessica has learned a lot of the years from watching me, helping, and even watching (she calls it "studying") my videos. Join us as she goes through the whole process of creating a sign start to finish!

First, keep that wonder-woman in the shop, she is a natural and woman always bring creativity and imagination aside from common sense, something some of us could use... and some inspiration too. You're way too lucky she's taking a genuine interest in handy work which in a girl, is a bonus. Way to go Jessica! don't forget to wear gloves.

try this sometime. do your cuts and face finish , and then get some mica pigments off ebay or amazon , and add them to fiberglass or epoxy resins , and or even urethane . makes for a candy like with pearl accent , transparent finish . also protects the raw steel under it , which gives it a bit of depth and cool light refraction . can also use LED's as well for night lighting . always fun lixing mediums . hope you all are well . have fun .

I just came across your channel, love the work. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on a table of my own and start a side gig.
I figured I’d add my two cents about the flapper wheel, I like to keep the spacer that’s meant for cutting disks behind the flapper wheel. It spaces the disk out so the threaded portion of the grinder’s shaft doesn’t protrude as far making it less likely to scratch the work surface. But hey great work and keep it up!

I was really surprised to hear you went in college. Honestly I’ve never met a self employed College kid and I never and I mean never expected to hear of a libertarian college kid, man you must of been the odd man out!! Either that or you figured out quickly the liberal BS wasn’t going to cut it in the real world.
The stronger wrist It’s because of the way guys hold their tools and use more wrist action girls when using their tools tend to just apply medium to heavy pressure with their first two fingers not sure why but wait till she pokes you in the chest when’s she’s mad at you those first two fingers are abnormally strong!!🤔😂.
Anyway I appreciate the video’s and hope you keep them coming and I’m going to try to catchup.
