I built my 1971 with a 350 small block 350 Turbo trans. It was the only engine I every built. I was so proud, she ran strong. It was my daily and I would race at the Ohio Valley Drag Way on Friday nights. Gave her away for 2500 wish I never sold her my health is bad and I can't build another car. 😢
You are living the dream working with your old man, listening to his advice, learning from his knowledge. Keep up hopefully I can meet your crew one day
I love that body style Nova.. actually looking for one myself.. well done. I had a 1966 Nova II SS years ago which was my favorite body style at the time.. now I'm really into the 69 generation style. I can only imagine after a little while, that car will be on your channel pulling wheelies
I really love your content,,,Its great to see you, your dad, Molly and your brother together...love the banter and the things you get up to...great great channel....love.it...
I had a 86 Chevy k20 custom deluxe farm truck with a balanced rotating assembly 75 Chevy 4 bolt main 0.30 trw hypereutectic Pistons and file fit piston rings, with a competition cams Xtreme energy 268h cam kit 474/480 lift 221/224 duration 107 lobe separation... With the summit racing brand Pete Jackson style gear drive timing set, machined for more noise, and the nova is about what my truck sounded like lol, it had heddman full length headers.
My dream car 69 nova. My first car was a 79 Camaro but the body lines of the 69 nova and options in the engine bay makes the nova a must have. . Love the channel guys. You do great work
Ahhh,, luv a gear drive,, it sounded purdy good Dad. edit: awww nutz,, guess you didn't care for that gear drive whine eh. I always loved the sound myself, had one in my 468 Nova ('63). You could hear it whine from 2 blocks away and I was cray about it. Also there's no stretch in a gear drive as opposed to a chain. Oh well, your car bud,, we love it too and are looking forward to the next few months as you bring it back to life.
So glad I found this channel. Love the interaction with your dad in the workshop. He is one cool dude! 👍🏻 racing is great but tbh I prefer watching you guys in the workshop. 👊🏻
We need some stories from Dad. When did he get into cars? Who did he learn from? if anybody. Did he race circle or straight line anywhere? Stuff like that. Just tell us stories. Your Dad is a treasure. I'm sure you boys see that. Great channel. Keep it up.
My dad always told His wife that it was for her to drive and race and also for us boys. But then fixed it up and never let us drive it. It worked we believed it every time and his wife wasn’t mad thinking she would drive it. He even convinced her the plum crazy purple color was her idea.
I love the content bro from Memphis TN. Start more videos and longer videos please. Need everyday content to watch lol. I got no tv and my phone is all I watch, that would be greatly appreciated 👍👍🇺🇲💯
Looks like things are looking up for Billy!!!! He has the car, the girl, and life by the balls!!!! Lol! I love watching you guys keep em coming have a great week and God Bless you and yours!
Yall thought about doing a big block build?. Yeah the small blocks are cool. But a big block would be rowdy in that deal. Just a idea. But cant wait to see the plans with it.
Westbelt Dr Columbus...I've been a follower of this page for a long time, and I know you guys know a lot of people in the area. I own a warehouse on Westbelt Dr. and businesses are complaining about the drag racing. Someone clipped a tree in front of my warehouse 3 weeks ago, and the street is riddled with burnout marks...if you know who the group is, please let them know.
You guys are great! I’ve got a 70 Nova SS I’ve had for 48 years. Needs a complete redo but still runs with original motor. It’ll be great to see what you guys do with this car.
Omg I can’t wait to see what y’all’s plans are for this cat!! I had one just like it when I was 20!!! If you need anything fabricated for it let me know I weld like you drive!🤣😂
I like the music your playing when you were tinkering with the carburetor to get it started ... fix it up and give it to your mom ... Drop a old school 427 in it And hand the keys to mom
SWEET!!! it looks pretty solid for 69 from the rust belt I've seen worst and I mean a lot worst but that thing is solid and what is that whine coming from it timing gears in it or what? I know it's not a blower
i love the old pete jackson gear drives they annoy everyone but accurate as hell on timing i am sure there are better new age ones but love the old school
You can throw a dead cat though it and not hurt it well the cat won’t feel it I guess and it got really nice looking when the photo shoot was going on but I’m really thinking how long is it going to stay a driver before it gets hopped up and it hits the starting line
I bought a NEW 69 Nova SS. That probably tells you how old I am. The most durable car I ever owned. I was young and crazy and it took everything I could throw at it.
I just picked up a 68 Camaro Last night that's complete . looks like it was parked 20 yrs ago. all I'm doing is making it mechanically sound and drive it. or rather my wife will drive it.
Had to pause because when Pops said "You could thump the Mob Deep in this thing" I friggin died. LMAO!

The 69 Nova is a keeper. SRC is a dynasty in the making.
Awesome! those cars are rare here in Canada. The salt on the roads ate most of em up.
Some kid built that in the late 80’s early 9s ,probably had a lot of fun.

I think the Nova used to belong to a friend of mine here in upstate NY. It was painted back in 1992 or very close. It had a Ford 9 inch at one time.
Not the one
I've got a 70. Young, old or in between who doesn't love Chevy Novas and this great channel ?
You guys produce awesome content! Thanks dudes and dudettes!

The SRC Empire continues to grow!
Tommy was about to get the "that's what she said fat finger smack". Even though the new few minutes played right into it.

Listen to Rush on thatAM radio! Damn I think I will subscribe!
Billy's dad is so bad ass and a great father I can tell
So few '69's around, best identified by the side marker shape and smaller taillight.
Omg I can’t wait to see what y’all’s plans are for this cat!! I had one just like it when I was 20!!! If you need anything fabricated for it let me know I weld like you drive!🤣😂

What does Molly think about the new daily? I know its rough but that could be a monster with the time and money and A lot of work.
I bought a NEW 69 Nova SS. That probably tells you how old I am. The most durable car I ever owned. I was young and crazy and it took everything I could throw at it.
i like it. i had a 72 that i built in my early 20's it was nice
I just picked up a 68 Camaro Last night that's complete . looks like it was parked 20 yrs ago. all I'm doing is making it mechanically sound and drive it. or rather my wife will drive it.

This popped up on my RUclips.. i vaguely remember this video.. oh well I’ll watch it again
Great Dukes oh Hazard intro, now she just needs the official shorts .
My favorite car.. I've owned 5 of them so far
