Joshua is an Incredible actor. He deserves an award for playing this role so well. I wept, prayed, laughed, and felt the presence of Holy Spirit (especially in the scenes where the parents were interceding for their kids). A lot would have been different with Fred if he was super naturally parented, but his Dad started late on this.
Titi's parents never backed out from this and moulded her ,prayed her into destiny.
Children are like eggs regardless of what height or age attained,covering them in prayer is pertinent.A lot of arrows in form of friends,wrong trends might want to swallow them but when they have a solid foundation and a strong cover,they are shielded.
Paying attention to our parents' admonition and advice too is wisdom.You can't be too old or woke for them.God placed us in their care for a reason.
Also, regardless of all and all we seek, God remains the first goal and should always be the reason for it.
Find out if your quest has God or your decision has God.If it doesn't,it would definitely hurt you.

The leeson I derived from that part is that we should always be prayerful that God makes us extremely sensitive in the Spirit to differentiate the physical from the spiritual.

I gave a Rhapsody if Realities Daily Devotional to a mad man today. And watching this movie just showed me why the Holyspirit led me to do so. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the POWER of SALVATION unto every one that believes.

I felt so emotional at the end wishing events had turned otherwise for Fred and the prison term cancelled 😭😭 but glory to God the prison became his mission field. What a tool for evangelism and for bringing back the Lost! The depths of the plot could only come from divine inspiration. Yes... It's easy to wish he was forgiven. I didn't expect he'll still be punished since insanity was already involved. But I love that the point was made about John, Joseph and many others about their prison experiences and what God did through and for them in those periods and after. I even know of a pastor who went to prison and in that period rescued a lot of people form both spiritual and physical prisons and continued even after it came out. God always has a plan, may we be patient to follow through with Him. It's really a blessing to watch because it can also be taken symbolically. God be praised.

This was not only a message about our sons, but a big message about our daughters. I love how the father realized she was possessed. There's obviously a strong spirit influencing and pushing her to be infatuated with someone who is not right for her. This movie has so many lessons for Youths to learn. Despite receiving deliverance from Spiritual bondage, Fred still had to face the consequence of his actions by going to prison. I hope that Youths really learn that every action has repercussions. May God help us all.

For me the lessons are endless I would share a few:
1. A man living in sin and living a riotous life is like a mad man in the spirit, he/she stands as a prey before the devil.
2. No matter what you have done or how far you have dived into the cultism Jesus loves and he ever ready to forgive and accept you into his kingdom
3. Be mindful of the friends you keep your friends can make you or mar you.

These are awesome lessons you gained from LEGION. I watched the movie too and it was great. I'll advise whoever hasn't watched it to go watch it now. There are quite some lessons I gained from the movie:
The Legion of evil spirits that possessed Fred kept shouting "We are many!" They've forgotten that although Fred's father may be one while they are many, but one with God is greater than all evil forces of the dark world combined. Though they were many, but standing on God alone, Fred's father overcame and destroyed them. I learnt here that, when we have God, we shouldn't be scared of the wicked ones. No matter how many they may be, one with God is greater than a thousand.
I also love how, when Titi the psychiatrist asked Fred's father if she should call the police, he replied that the Holy Ghost will handle it. This show that he's sensitive in the spirit and so had already figured out that the problem with Fred was not a physical one that the police could handle, but it's rather a spiritual one. I love that part, it's brilliant. What I learnt there is that we children of the Light should always pray for divine sensitivity so that we will not end up trying to use physical method to cure spiritual problems the way Titi was trying to call the police to solve a spiritual problem.
A third lesson from the movie is that nothing from the devil or from sin ever lasts, whatever good things you think you are receiving from the devil or through sin is nothing but a time bomb beautifully wrapped in the best and latest package, waiting to explode once you open it. Fred and his friend Zachy got wealth from the devil, no argument. But they learnt the hard way that nothing from the devil lasts forever. The price they had to pay for the temporary wealth the devil gave them was more than they bargained for. Fred paid for it by suffering from schizophrenia for five whole years, while Titi his ex-girlfriend in school eventually studied, became someone great in future, and married David. What a wasted life for Fred! All because he couldn't wait for God's time, he wanted quick money, alaye want to blow sharp sharp. Well, he did, and he paid the price. But that is not all, he paid the price by suffering from schizophrenia for five years and eventually serving life imprisonment. Zachy's too paid for bargaining with the devil. He paid for it with his life both here and in eternity, even his innocent sister also paid with her life because she didn't have Christ. If she had Christ, it wouldn't have been possible for Zachy's to kill her because no one under the shadow of the Almighty can get killed by the devil. Serious wahala dey for person wey no get Jesus.
I also learnt that while some will be given the Grace of second chance, like Titi. There are those, like Zachy's sister, who aren't. So whatever opportunity one has to accept and preach the Gospel, he should jealously grab and use it. We don't know if we will have a second chance. Remember Zachy's sister.
I also learnt about the necessity of having godly intercessors such as Titi's parents and Fred's father. The movie displayed how the necessity of a godly intercessor can never be overemphasized.
I also learnt that there's no condition we are in that's too messed up for God to pull us out from and give us a new beginning. Don't ever think you're too messed up for God to cleanse you and give you a new start. If God could save Fred despite how spiritually sick he was, then God can save anyone.
I also learnt that we ourselves shouldn't give up on anyone no matter how bad they've become. Fred's father didn't give up on him, he stood for him in the place of prayer, and that was what saved Fred. Same goes for Titi. Her parents stood for her in the place of prayer. Don't ever see anyone as too lost beyond repentance. If preaching to them isn't productive, take them to the Lord in prayer. Keep praying, and he'll heal them. Remember that it took Sandra in ABATTOIR SEASON 2 many weeks before she could gain Flora back. But through prayer, she overcame.
I also learnt that ignoring, or scoffing at, godly counsels comes with a price. If Fred hadn't scoffed at his father's counsel when they were having pounded yam, he wouldn't end up guilty of murder.
I also learnt that whatever situation we find ourselves in, even if in the prison of lack and sorrow, God has a lot in store for us. Look at Fred, condemned to life imprisonment but God raised him there and made him into a great minister of the Gospel.
The truth is that, the lessons in LEGION are too many, honestly speaking. I can't even dream of listing them all here. It's impossible. If you haven't yet watched LEGION on Damilola Mike-Bamiloye RUclips channel, you are missing big time. Go and watch it now. You'll not regret watching it. It is the perfect movie for youths of this generation that no longer want to labour but are after quick wealth. The humour, sound Biblical teachings, and emotional ending, all combined in this one movie makes it outstanding. God bless all the Mount Zion crew and casts for this amazing piece. So many lessons for everyone to learn from in this movie. As a parent, I have learnt that I should never stop interceding for my children whether they're under my roof or not. Titi would have been killed if not for her parents prayers

The story of the girl is similar with mine. .I also went through that trying to change the guy while I fell into temptation..but God rescued me and opened my eyes to the fact that no matter wah I do to change him it wouldn't work out well...his Change depends on him..he decides his life...I pray God open the eyes of the younger generation to see that God's love is eternal....the wealth..riches...pleasure of the world won't take them anywhere
